Well written with a unique perspective. I enjoyed the workout it gave my brain in the art of listening. I especially enjoyed the take on Jesus's listening skills and how we can learn from him in that regard. I have not really thought about how the subject of listening is as important to many bible stories as it is.

Conversation and listening are universal and daily, therefore vital in our Christian walk. Davies' shares his experience and specific wisdom to mentor us--in faith--to become better listeners and conversationalists. It's a fresh, thoughtful, biblically-based book and a must read in our divisive and communication challenged culture. A timely and encouraging read!
