Not really suspense
I didn't really feel these stories were suspenseful. They were something to read though. Maybe it's just me, I'm use to edge of the seat books.

Tainted Trust is a collection of four short stories offering just the right amount of suspense.
Betrayal Under the Bridge: What! I want more. I neeeeeeed to know more. The thriller/crime/suspense reader in me needs to see *that* through.
Ink Genes: “Whoa.” The singular word that left my mouth after reading the last word on the page.
Precious Pigs: I was hoping this tied into Betrayal Under the Bridge at first and quickly realized it didn’t but, damn, it also didn’t disappoint.
Tiger of the Highlands: I feel like this jumped from beginning to the heartbreaking yet peaceful end a little quick. I’d love to read more of the in between.
I want - no - I need more from each story. Each story would make an excellent standalone novel. The taste offered was delicious. I look forward to reading more from this author as there is great promise on each page.

This is a pretty short book with 4 stories. Maybe each story could have had a second part, so it would be a total of 8 short stories (or even have the stories be a bit longer). Each story was interesting and had their own twists but personally felt that each story abruptly ended. I also don’t think the cover really portrays the stories well because all the stories were different. Overall, this would be good for someone who wants a quick read. I’m interested in reading more of this author’s work because I do feel that her work has great potential!

A collection of short suspense stories. These stories were amazing! I’ve been reading lots of spooky reads, getting ready for the season and this was perfect for it. Full of suspense and twists, I definitely wanted more! I look forward to reading more of this authors work.

Each story hooks you in, and keeps you in suspense as you read. Some of them had a twist I didn't expect at the end. Very well written.
I could have read longer stories of all of them, they were so intriguing.
The way the play on trust was worked around for each of the plots. Definitely a great short read for those in a reading slump too, maybe it will help you figure out which type of book you want to read next!

The short stories in this book were absolutely amazing and well written. Each of them left me wanting more and wondering what happened next. However they were concluded very well! I will definitely be looking for more books by this author. Each of the four stories in this book were filled with something intriguing. I highly recommend. It is a short read and well worth the time.

Each story is this collection of four short stories is gripping and keeps you guessing until the final twist at the end. It also leaves you wondering who you can really trust!

A collection of lightning fast little suspense stories. Not my usual genre, but I picked it up because I loved Cindy’s Human Facade. This is just as enjoyable! A quick read full of twisty turns.

It was not my cup of tea usually, but it did keep me on my toes. Some of these short stories I wouldn't mind a longer version.
