Fated Dates

Wanted by the Wolves

Rate this book
All Harper Maloy wants to do is take care of her and her daughter. It’s hard being a workaholic and a single mom. Even though it’s a bit lonely, she would rather manage it alone than trust another man.

That is, until she finds a mysterious phone app that matches her to “the perfect man”. Jasper Leo Hawthorne is funny, charming, and engaging. Weirdly though, his tone seems to constantly change, not to mention he’s a wolf from the Enski pack. She’s also not sure he’s real…what with him only having group photos on his account.

When she shows up to her date, it all makes sense…it’s all of them.

ALL. OF. THEM.

Will they be too much to handle, or will she fit right in with the pack?

Wanted by the Wolves is part of the Fated Dates multi-author series and a complete standalone. Want to read more tales of monsters getting matched via a mystical phone app? Get the complete series today!

This was a pretty fast-paced novella. Harper is a busy single mom of a 4-year-old (almost 5) who's working a lot She doesn't know how a dating app got on her phone but she goes with it. She sees a profile of a group of guys thinking nothing of it.

Jasper Leo and Hawthorne have been in a relationship since high school they feel like something is missing in their pack. And when they start talking to Harper there's a connection. The relationship gets sorta side sidetracked for a second when Harper's daughter is having shifter vibes. She doesn't remember the guy. It was a one-night stand. So having the guys help out since they are Shifters was everything. I kinda wish it was longer to get more of a family and group scene.

There is drama with the ons but it is taken care of.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy times, no virgins

This book, taken apart, sounds like it should be perfect for me. Wolf shifters? Yeah, I like it. A little bit omegaversey vibes? Okay, I'm following. RH? Yup. This book, however, felt so unbelievably flat. The chemistry was non-existent and the writing juvenile. I've read better books on Wattpad when I was 12 years old. Small blessings were how short it was.

This was very much an instalove story, which I can handle, but seems weird when the FMC is a single mom. Having new people in your kid’s life is a big deal, especially when she’s struggling. The guys were cute together and the spice was fun.

This was fun and cute and would be a good palate cleanser after dark or heavy books. The set up was good but I didn't feel the chemistry or heat between the characters.

Just mehhhh... this is a MMMF

I enjoy reading reverse harem because of all the characters romantic dynamics. RH is meant to focus on the heroine. The amount of MM in this story had me skipping a lot of it. It doesn't interest me.

Harper (heroine) isn't unlikable, she just not really present in the story, she doesn't stand out. Another star was lost for me when she showed more enthusiasm for her work and the MMCs than Aria. I would have thought those two weeks off work would have her playing with her daughter more, not letting the men do it.

Perhaps it's the length of the book but I wasn't sold on the relationship side of things. To be honest even the shifter side was wishy washy at best. That really didn't leave much to make this memorable.

This had a lot of promise, and would have been better suited as a full length book rather than the novella. Overall premise was great, a Shifter pack finds their mate in a human woman who happens to be a single mom, and her kid turns out to be a shifter too. So much to explore with that premise, but it felt really rushed due to the length and having to work an HEA in.

I thought WANTED BY THE WOLVES had a really cute setup and the characters were all likable but the writing was just not there. It was very simplistic and bare bones with a lot of typos, missing words, repeated words, and even random tense changes. All the guys felt very similar and Leo's personality kept changing throughout the book.

They fall in love with Harper fast, which is fine since this is fated mates and it's a novella but the move from casually dating to having a foursome was jarring and the official mating scene was kind of unsexy and clinical. The beginning was definitely stronger than the second half and I really only finished it because it was short.

4.5/5 rounded up

I loved this book, it was so sweet and heartwarming. Jasper, Leo and Hawthorne were all so perfect in their own ways. They was they all came together to take care of Harper and Aria was so sweet. I loved the scenes with the boys and Aria because they were the best “fathers” even when Harper hadn’t known if this was forever for her. The HEA in this one was so wholesome and I loved the epilogue! I wish we knew if baby shifters happened. The one part I’ll say which lost the 1/2 star from me was the “conflict”, and I say that loosely, between them and the sperm donor for Aria. It really felt rushed and honestly like it didn’t need to be part of the story at all.

I totally forgot to write a review for that one.

❖ FMMM
❖ swordcrossing
❖ werewolves x human FMC
❖ single mom FMC
❖ met through dating app

It was fun and fast-paced.
Though the whole thing about a dating app that only show you one match and that match is your soulmate was intriguing there were no explanation given. The only thing that we know is that a wizard run it and that it work. That's it.
As for the character, they were cute and everything but not develop enough for my liking. It is a novella so I totally understand why there are not flesh out but still it is better to precise it.
The FMC's reaction to everything that was going on were too calm. The werewolves thing okay because she knew but the other things ? A normal person would freak out.
Overall it was fine and I will check on the other novellas.

I love a good single mom getting the love and seggs she deserves. This was a super sweet and spicy short story with all the things that will melt your heart. Lots of insta lust and a sweet HEA. I loved the different personalities between the guys and dynamics. Such a fun little read from one of my favorite authors!

This book was fun and cute but fell flat. There was very little relationship between the different characters. The only relationships that are developed properly is the ones between Aria and everyone else. It was more detailed that the relationships between the MCs. The spice was good though

Oh how amazing it is to have 3 guys all for yourself!

Harper’s a single mom and juggling her work and house loads. When she entered her information in the app, she matched with Jasper but the photos contained of 3 guys from Enski pack.

It was really fun and cute. A good short read and a great palate cleanser. It was really to see the dynamic between all of them and how they juggle one another but it was written well enough.

This one is for the “what if the hot guys from the dating app were all into you” crowd. Because that’s exactly what Wanted by the Wolves delivers: shifters, soulmates, and a single mom who stumbles into a wolfpack worth howling over.

Our heroine, Harper, is doing it all — solo parenting, working, adulting — and one night, she takes a chance and enters her info into a mysterious matchmaking app. The match? A group photo featuring not one, not two, but three devastatingly attractive wolf shifters from the Enski Pack. And unlike real life, these men are all swoon material.

Enter:
🩺 Jasper – the quiet, cerebral doctor with nurturing instincts
🍞 Leo – the heart of the pack and domestic king who bakes up a storm
🗡️ Hawthorne – the growly alpha with a soft side and even softer spot for Harper

The guys are already in a poly dynamic but are missing something, and Harper completes them in every way — emotionally, sexually, spiritually. The insta-love is heavy here, but it’s served up with a warmth that feels cozy rather than rushed.

Spice-wise?
🔥 RH setup with strong MM dynamics (yes, they’re into each other too!)
🔥 Heat, intimacy, and lots of bedroom exploration
🔥 Everyone’s on the same emotional page, which makes the spice extra tender

The added twist? Harper’s daughter, Aria, starts showing signs of being a shifter herself — something Harper never expected. Turns out her ex (who’s been gloriously absent) has alpha blood in his veins and decides he suddenly cares. The only way to protect Aria from custody drama and patriarchal nonsense? Fully mate the pack. And let’s just say Harper doesn’t need much convincing.

Tropes :
🐺 Wolf Shifters / Omegaverse Lite
🐺 Reverse Harem / Polyam Pack
🐺 Single Mom FMC
🐺 Curvy FMC
🐺 Fated Mates & Found Family
🐺 MM dynamics
🐺 Mate-to-Protect Trope

Jasper, Leo, and Hawthorne are searching for their fated mate. Harper Malloy is simply trying to balance her job, caring for her daughter, and motherly guilt. When the four match on the Kis-Meet app, Harper is intrigued. Tentatively, she begins a courtship with the trio, but doesn't mention that she's a mother after past experiences with dating. Out of the blue though, her daughter starts to display signs of being a shifter.

This romance follows these four as they navigate their new relationship and parenthood to a shifter. My favorite part of this romance though is that the relationships between Jasper, Leo, and Hawthorne were given adequate time and representation. This wasn't just about the three of them mating with Harper. We get lots of swords crossing goodness! L. E. Eldridge packed A LOT of heat into this brief novella. I wanted more. Loved this addition to the Fated Dates series!

Good story concept, but writing needs polishing

This is the 4th story that I’ve read in this series, each book is written by a different author, and follows a plus size FMC who is magically matched with her mate, who turns out to be a monster. This story follows Harper, a human woman with a small daughter, who is matched to a triad of wolf shifters, Jasper, Leo, and Hawthorne.

I enjoyed the concept of the story, I wouldn’t have thought that I would enjoy a romance that had a child as a side character, but this aspect added a sweetness to the pairing that I didn’t mind.

My biggest concern was some of the writing. It felt like it needed to be edited one last time for repeated words and phrases, especially the word “though”. That word could be removed from most of the sentences, and that would have made a huge difference as I read through the story.

“A flush ran through me. Our girl. I was their girl. I wanted to be their girl."

AHHH SO CUTE! I absolutely adore L.E. Eldridge's writing, and this book was no different. This book was super sweet and filled with delicious spice! I loved seeing the different dynamics of the guys and Harper in the bedroom. They all fit so well together, and the chemistry was off the charts! I liked really the guys' POV to see how quickly they fell for Harper and how quickly they accepted Aria, her daughter. Their different personalities also shown through. Such a fluffy read! I was giggling and kicking my feet the entire time! I loved seeing a single mom get her happy end and give the middle finger to the sperm donor lol. I'm getting closer to reading all of L.E. Eldridge's books, and I'm so excited hehe

I really enjoyed Wanted by the Wolves. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book with wolf shifters and this was the perfect story to get back into it.

I loved Harper as much as I loved Aria, Leo, Jasper and Hawthorne. The three shifters really care about Harper and her daughter. I really enjoyed discovering the family dynamic that has developed between them. You can tell right away that Leo, Jasper and Hawthorne are fond of their mate’s child and immediately identify as Aria’s fathers.

I really liked the little plot twist about Aria, although not so much some of the people in the book who are a bit too interested in this plot twist.

L.E. Eldridge is also an author I’m discovering thanks to the Fated Dates series and whose other books I’ll be reading in the future.

This book was a super sweet and spicy read! I absolutely love the way this Author created this world and these characters!

The FMC is a human single mother who is breaking her back to try and juggle all the hats of motherhood…who can’t relate to that?!

The MMCs… yep you read that right… three gorgeous yet so very different shifters who compliment each other perfectly yet they’re missing their final piece to their puzzle… their mate.

Insert one crazy dating app and one crazy little furry surprise… and you’ve got the perfect sweet yet spicy read!

But don’t let that fool you cause these MMC’s like to play with their new toy and just as much as each other…. there’s knots, bites, and so much more!

great novella

It was a great story with heavy spice but there is quite a few typos or grammar errors that affected the flow of the story as I had to stop and think about what the author was trying to say. There is also a few flow points that felt a bit off to me but the overall storyline and soul of the novella is amazing. The characters are all lovely with their own unique quirks and the little one is just so adorable. I mean come on a little girl who’s coming into her own but also so unapologetically herself. I love when authors write little kids as the badasses they are because kids will say the craziest things and be totally baddies when it comes to their sense of self.

I love it the perfect filler for in between books. You get all the feels while keeping it light. Spoiler alert Aria’s dad was full of shit on every level so glad he knew they were better off without him cause they were. Harper’s mom kinda annoying in the sense of beating a dead horse like she knows!! Geez she’s doing the best she can. No notes it’s perfect well some notes it needs to be edited with the amount of typos my brain kept tripping over but still need something quick, cute, and a little spice what are you waiting for your fated mate is just a magical app away. Only took me 5 hours cause I read slow

I absolutely devoured this novella.

Realtor Harper is getting back into the dating world somewhat by accident when her child opens a dating app on her phone, and she finds herself on a profile for someone with a full name and photos of 3 men. She decides to hit match. She begins talking to them, and meeting up, and discovers they’re a set of 3 wolf shifters.

Short, spicy, with a lot of Instaloving.

My only complaint (and this is just being a mother of a toddler) is that Aria isn’t portrayed well as a 4 year old in how she talks and acts, more like a 2 year old.

This was a sweet fast paced short. I loved the instant family dynamic that the characters had, the mate bond gave the perfect setup for this happening as quickly as it did.

The spicier scenes were a lot of fun and I love seeing a dominant woman with a submissive male it’s a nice change especially within a shifter romance.

I loved all the characters and their dynamics.

If you are looking for something short and sweet that fills a shifter hole in your life then i can definitely recommend Wanted by the Wolves.

This book has a lot of promise, but it doesn’t quite deliver. It’s slightly disappointing because the plot is barely hinted at and certainly not fully developed, while the smut is rather tame. So if it isn’t a truly smutty read and it also lacks a well-developed plot, what’s the appeal?

English isn’t even my mother tongue, yet I still noticed several errors here and there. The book would really benefit from a thorough reread by an editor or other professional.

3.5 stars. I did enjoy I was just worried the kid would be forgotten about. Thank goodness she wasn’t. I’m a strong believer kids come first over romance. I felt some things moved a tad quicker than I’d have liked but I’m not bothered by it much. I feel like her kid should have played more of a role and I feel that the romance should have come secondary to her kid. A single moms priority should be her kids

I enjoyed the characters a lot, they’re what stood out to me. The romance between them all was so sweet and real. There wasn’t much of a plot at all but for a short novella, that’s understandable. What’s got this rated down for me was the spice, the fact they were partly shifted into their wolf form while doing the deed felt wrong to me, it made me uncomfortable to read, but that could just be me.

Could have been better

I have enjoyed all the monster verse books before now, the premise for this novella was good and it’s a shame because I enjoy wolf and pack stories but the writing let it down for me. Too many grammatical errors, silly mistakes and inconsistencies within the story, simple ones too, she got a lift as her car had broken down and then she was driving home in her car 10 mins later. Easily picked up mistakes with a better proof read

Had fun while reading it, but I don't think it holds up to much scrutiny. Very tightly focused on the leads and their relationship - we don't really see anything of how the werewolf pack lives or works outside of the three hero's jobs, and the only other human character is Harper's mom, who is just there to nag at her. Not entirely sure how she's the fated mate of just one of the wolf throuple, or how she'll fit into pack structure, or any real details - this is short and hot and to the point!

god I love when the boyfriends are boyfriends. I can't say the last time I read a RH because I don't really want the FMC to be the one who brings them together. I NEED the MMCs to be together, in relationship as well. I would read an entire series dedicated to this relationship, and I don't even like single parent tropes. plz give me ten more LE Eldridge, i need more cozy moments between my fave poly couple
