This was a true "don't judge a book by it's cover" The store was OK. The landscaping company really had nothing to do with the story line at all. It could have just been a girl dealing with thing and her friends there to help her. I'm interested in how the story line in the other Three Dirty Women books go.

This is the 3 book in a series I got it at a library sale so don't have much hope finding the other two. Shady Acres is a retirement home where the women are landscaping. This book hits close to home as I am a "Baby Boomer". None of us want to be a burden to our children.

"Three dirty women" sounds a bit risque, it refers to a women's landscaping company. The book was not as lively as some but I found it satisfying.

Great book!!! It pulls you in and keeps you reading. The nursing home has a few deaths that don't seem out of the ordinary until one day someone gets run down in the parking lot. The nursing home had hired a local landscaping company to come in and beautify the grounds--When one of the business owners' mothers is hauled in to the police station and booked. Turns out dear old Mom who is thought to be loosing her mind due to Alzheimer was behind the wheel. . . But she didn't kill anyone, and it is up to her daughter-in-law landscaper to get to the bottom of it. Check your meds, you might be next. . .
