Kitty Camp is a cute little picture book about a girl who gets on the wrong bus for camp and ends up at a camp for cats instead. Anyone who knows cats can guess what happens next: chaos ensues. It's a fun and cute story with lively and colourful illustrations. It isn't a game changer, but it's a fun read that cat loving kids will be sure to be entertained by.

I love Drew Brockington so it's no surprise that I thought this book was adorable. A young girl can't wait to go to summer camp but accidentally ends up on the wrong bus. Instead of people camp, she is at Kitty Camp with lots of adorable cats and kittens.

It is a bit of a challenge to fit in but she eventually figures out how to connect with her fellow campers. And then, of course, it is time to go home for the day.

But what fun will happen on the second day of camp?

This is definitely a cute book to share with kids before they head off to summer camp. It is graphic novel-ish with both speech bubbles and text. Take a peek under the dust jacket because the cover of the book is different.

I'm extremely biased here because Kitty Camp sounds like my heaven, but this book was really fun. It centers around a girl going to summer camp for the first time but when she arrives, it's all kitties! She is delighted at first but then gets a little disappointed to not be able to do typical camp things. All gets resolved though.
