Short bio: UK based, bestselling Indie author of contemporary romance … otherwise known as elegantly filthy erotica. Shoeaholic. Introvert. Prude. Teetotaler. Compulsive Liar ... well, not about the shoes. I never lie about shoes!!

UK bestselling author of the Passion Noire, Rouge Passion and Orion the Hunter series. Not your average romance novelist ... but then, who wants to be average?

I love reading - almost as much as I love writing.. I relish the sheer escapism of losing myself in a book that grips me and takes me on an emotional roller coaster. I regularly mourn the passing of a good book - am I the only one who turns the pages more slowly when you don’t want a great book to end?

I love a good steamy romance and I adore sexy alpha males. I also have more than a passing interest in BDSM (nod, nod … wink, wink). One day, I put pen to paper (well fingers to keyboard, actually) and the Orion the Hunter series was born. Little did I know that, at that moment, I was sewing the seeds of change. For, just a few months later, as a somewhat bewildered Amazon Kindle bestselling Indie author, I quit my career as an education professional to write full time. Scary stuff, I think you’ll agree.

2013 was a very difficult year for me for personal reasons. It taught me how fragile life is and how important it is to grab it with both hands and ride the hell out of it. So in 2014, I began my comeback with the Amazon #1 Bestselling Erotica/Romantic Erotica bestselling series, Rouge Passion. I also met many of my favourite authors and so many lovely readers at my first signing event in Edinburgh. I flipped Stu Reardon’s kilt! Happy days …

I have big plans for 2015. I’m signing at several more author events around the UK and I’m pouring my heart and soul into what I consider my best series yet - by far! Cue Passion Noire, a three part series revolving around La Veuve Noire - a sexual therapist by day and a desirable Domme by night. But fear not, sexy alphas are still on the menu. I mean … this is me!

Part of me feels like I should hold off rating until the end. It's hard for me to love a book that I only have part of. That said, I'm still intrigued. I know I assumed this was a three parter - but now I'm thinking that was just and assumption on my part since we are living in the age of trilogies these days. That makes me nervous because if this ends up bring a 7/8/9 part book I'm going to get irritated at some point, because no matter how much I like it - it would have to be literary gold for me to be ok with paying 20+ dollars for a book.

All that said - I liked this better then the first. There still isn't much movement in their relationship. I have to admit I'm seriously curious as to why Issy is so commitment phobic. I've bee comings up with all sorts of dark this in my head.

Lucas is turning out to be much less alpha then I was expecting. That's not a terrible thing. He's become a pretty hot sweetheart at this point and it looks good on him. He reminds me Ethan from All in.

I'm going to wait until I know how many more installments there will be before I decide if
I'm going to continue.

Now, this is realy dissapointment for me:( All fault is going to Issy which I totally and completely can't stand! What a selfish, vain, ignorant, childish lunatic... I don't understand what Lucas is seeing in her. After 80% I was skiping to much of the story and I'm absolutely lost interest in the next book.
P.S. I feel very sorry for Lucas

The Hunted starts off exactly where The Hunter had abruptly ended. It was heart wrenching watching the desperation that Lucas felt and funny watching Issy agree to the "Month Trial". Right...it's predictable where the story will go, but that doesn't bother me as I know that it does some. For me it's the story in between. We learned a little about Lucas and his history, but have learned of nothing more of Issy. Some hot sex, and the promise of some BDSM action in the future.

A good installation, which I have now learned is actually a series and not just a 2 part book. As I said in my review of The Hunter, I had suspected that these two books should have been combined instead of seperate, I was correct. And when the 3rd comes out, I suspect that I will think that all of them should have been combined into 1 book still.

My only other gripe is the editing. I came across sentences that made no sense and I would have to re-read them and realize that a wrong word was used, and would have to make up what I thought should have been there. And then there's Issy's last name...a dozen times it jumped from being Prince to Price. Which is it??

I was tempted to only give 3 stars because of the few things that bugged me, but because I like the story as a whole (and maybe in the future some editing, and combinations could happen?) I gave 4 stars.

This book was painful to read. I ended up skim reading the last quarter because I just couldn't take it anymore. The first book was not bad. I mean it wasn't great but it was an okay read. But this second book was down right bad. What a see saw of personality conflicts these two main characters had! This author kept describing Lucas as a dominant yet had him pining and chasing after that silly childish infuriating Izzy! Goodness how petulant and annoying can a female main character be?!? This story had no plot or story or character development to speak of. Nothing. I liked nothing about this book. Just some erotic scenes thrown together with some childish banter and unlikeable flat characters. That's it. Period. So much confusing back and forth that it gave me mental whiplash. And what the hell with this insta-love stalkerish crap from a man who is presumably a self made millionaire alpha - I don't need anybody or anything kind of guy - but yet the moment he lays eyes on this one woman he turns into a whimpy lovestruck shumck! Oh no more. This madness ends here for me. Book 3, like hell.

Okay enough with the foreplay! Lets get down to business**wink, wink**

That's exactly how I felt jumping into the second instalment in this so far so great series. Lucas and Izzy have given into their lustful need and it is sky-rocketing sexy! But...Lucas wants more, izzy doesn't--or at least that's what she tries to convince herself-- silly woman!? Are you daft?!!! Look at the man and what he wants from you!!

Off track... The novella is even more compelling because Izzy literally bangs them and leaves them. But with Lucas she bends some of her rules while denying any true feelings beyond lust.
But Lucas ain't having her shit and after an eventful day proposes a deal: a one month trial. YES, one month of sex and togetherness to prove she feels more than she's willing to admit.

Lucas was heart-wrenching to see and if you want to know why, READ THE BOOK!!

Can't wait for the third! This is shaping out to be a sexy and intriguing series!

This part two of the Hunter. Mr Hunter commissions Izzy to do some work on a building he has. Izzy does not want to loose the contract and has a one night stand with him. But she gets more than she bargained for as he wants more and he does not date/she does not do relationships. There a deal struck between them and he sends her a cheque. Izzy returns the cheque to his business and runs away. Izzy falls down the stairs and gets concussion and he makes her stay at his apartment. I another deal is struck in which he challenges her to stay with for a month or he pursers her until she agrees to see him again. Izzy does not want to loose the contract and does not know which way to go.
Izzy find that Hunter has been celibate for years and has a dark past

Great story just too short again. Very FSG

Ok so this is a continuation from the first book, The Hunter. You do have to read the first one to know what's going on. I have mixed feeling about this book. I found it fell a little short of my expectations. I found Issy to be a little too vain and selfish. Plus, in the book, it kept saying how Lucas was so utterly a domineering and alpha male. What? Really? I thought he was the exact opposite. He seemed a little flimsy to me. Issy could totally lead him around!! She was the domineering one! Lucas was wishy washy and and was catering to everything Issy said and wanted. Don't get me wrong, he seemed like a nice guy, hot and rich! Haha. But not at all domineering like the book kept saying.

Anyway, I'll be interested to see what others think of this book.

This is a tough one for me to rate. I liked it and at times I more then liked it.
The first half of the book was not what I expected.
Gone is the mysterious, dark and sexy Lucas. In his replacement is someone weak and sappy. ( that really hurt to say because I really loved him in book one)

Issy. I just didn't feel anything for her. She was all contradiction.
She kind of reminded me of a mean boy tease.

However, by the end of the book. Things started taking a bit of a turn. I still don't like Issy but Lucas has definitely peaked my interest again ;)
Curious to see what happens in book 3

Wow what a beginning!! Book 2 starts off exactly were book 1 ended. Which I might add that I was a little disappointed that it ended right when we were getting to the good stuff. But never the less this book starts just right. As the story progresses Issy is still locked on not having a committed relationship, and Lucas is on a mission to change that. The couple comes to an arrangement that allows them to test the relationship waters. One question I hope that's answered in book 3 is why is Issy so strongly against relationships? There's a brief mention about someone in her past, but no clue as to who and what happen. Can't wait for the release of the next book.

Book 2 better than book 1 because you get into the relationship between Lucas and Issy. The only thing I don't like is that book two is basically consisting over a couple of days. There is so much more to know about these characters and especially why Issy is the way she is when it comes to relationships. Also, the author need to put a date to be released in Goodreads for Hunting Lust. On the last page of the book it mentions Jan 2013 but it has yet to be released. An update would be nice since I am hooked on finding out what transpires between these characters.

This is the continuation of Lucas and Issy's story and I think I enjoyed it a bit more than the first. We are now getting to know the characters a bit better and romance is entering into the equation. Looking forward to continuing with the series--hopefully the wait won't be too long for the next part!

Great continuation of part one getting more into the relationship of Issy and Lucas. With no mention a part three I was sort of expecting it to somehow conclude but as the end approached I realized there had to be more. Part three notes a release date of January 2013 so hopefully it will not be too much longer.

I think I am in love with Lucas. He is Dominant, but not into inflicting pain. Love. The tension between Issy and Lucas is sometimes hard to take. I am left wondering WTF happened to Issy to make her absolutely refuse to consider any type of relationship? There is a secret there somewhere. Lucas obviously has secrets too.
I really, really need the next book to come out. Like, yesterday!

Again I loved this and the characters are brilliant.. The fact that the dynamic of man chasing and woman not so keen on the relationship is just so refreshing from the usual... Bring on book 3 I can't wait....

This was a complete DNF! First of all, this book is set in Manhattan but everyone speaks like this should be set in London or some other city on the other side of the pond. It actually took me a minute to realize that these characters were not transplants to the U.S. Second, Issy is an unbelievably annoying, self-absorbed, pretentious, slutty bitch! I really wanted nothing more than for her to get mowed down by a taxi or mamed by some rabid escaped zoo animal. Her friends are annoying at best, and really have no redeeming qualities as far as I can see. The ONLY reason this book even got one star is because of Lucas. I did kind of like him, but even he was completely unbelievable as a dominant, alpha male. He came off more as a whiney douche than a strong, confident alpha. The sex was boring, and even though I didn't make it all the way through, if I would have had to read one more inner monologue that contained thoughts like "oh,my" and "I heard myself gasp" I was going to gouge the words out of my kindle. Obviously this is a VERY poorly written mashup of 50 shades and the crossfire series, of both I was, am and will always be a huge fan of; this definitely not. I really want my money back!!

I have a feeling that Hunter is hiding something in his closet. I mean he said he was celibate for a while and he is also a DOM. Somethings not right. I don't know. They relationship is very light and easy to describe it. Hunter is definitely not a harsh person to deal with. I mean the way he talked to Issy, the way he cared for her, the concern he felt when she bumped her head, his feelings towards to her was purely loved. It was like he felt love at first sight towards to her. Less complicated.

And their is Issy's friends, Angel, chad, Scott, and horny bastard Travis. I wish there is more to tell about their relationship.

I want more of them and I really hope Book 3 will give me that.

This book lacked the gripping qualities of the first, whilst we learn more about Lucas we don't find out all that much about Issy which is disappointing.

I find myself wondering why Issy seems to have temporary short term memory loss? Is this significant in any way or just a way of explaining how Issy gets into the situations she does in this book.

At the end of the book it stated that the third installment was due in January 2013, I looked around for it on the internet and no such luck yet - as seems to be the case with all series of books I start reading the follow up books get delayed.

Wow, what a change from book 1. Everything, I was swept away with from the first book began to reverse after chapter one. The intriguing alpha hero turns into a pathetic mess, and there is no sparks flying from the heroine to engage the reader. I did go on to read the other books in the series and Lucas does start to gain back some of his alpha masculinity in book 3, but it was starting to get long and the storyline wasn't keeping my interest. By book 4, I was skimming a lot it.

Kontynuacja dobrze rozpoczętej serii. Uparci, konkretni bohaterzy. Mnóstwo gorących scen. Namiętność, erotyzm aż kipiał w tej części. A coś tak czuję, że akcja dopiero się rozkręca. Naprawdę dobra seria.
