The Last Boy: A Novel

Rate this book
This is a love story, but not the kind that fairytales are made of.

The year is 1993

The power goes out in a small city in Northern Ontario, unbeknownst to the rest of the world. Darkness engulfs the entire district of Lex, trapping its inhabitants within invisible boundaries. The De Cree prepare for their first step towards taking over control.

The Greater City of Lex is only the beginning. A common goal brings together strangers. Survival. Uniting them despite their differences.

When faced with tough decisions, the remaining inhabitants of Lex must challenge themselves to discover their true abilities. Are they who they believed themselves to be, or simply a facade hiding behind meaningless words?

Never underestimate the power of love and the strength of will to protect it at all cost.

Gave up … too many characters, confusing the essence of the storyline. Wasn’t enjoying it at all.
