Paradise #31

Stolen in Paradise

Rate this book
In the Florida Keys, it’s never too early for a drink. Or criminal activity.

Madison Weston is on a roll. Not only is she one warehouse closer to owning a whole block of Tarpon Cove, but she and her bestie, Fabiana Merceau, have perfected the art of staying out of trouble.

Or, at least, delegating it.

Everything’s as smooth as a top-of-the-Keys breeze—until they watch Fab’s beloved Porsche race away with a thief at the wheel.

Tarpon Cove is no stranger to the occasional carjacking joyrider. But only an expert could get past Fab’s security system, which means some high-end Miami chop shop is testing the waters. Or it’s already entrenched and digging deeper.

Deborah Brown is the author of the Paradise series, Crazy, Deception and Trouble Florida Keys mysteries, which makes the reader laugh, cry and cheer...

My personal ad would read:

There's nothing a new pair of shoes can't cure.

Redhead. Long legs. There's nothing like a strawberry-lemonade in summer. Favorite activity: Filling my pockets with seashells. An avid rule follower when eating Animal Cookies: Broken ones get eaten first, match up the rest, duplicates next, line them up favorite to not, least favorite go first. South Florida is my home, with my ungrateful rescue cats, and where Mother Nature takes out her bad attitude in the form of hurricanes.

Love these books and the mystery of who is causing problems

It starts with the mystery of who stole Fabiana’s car and trying to find the group of car thieves. And as usual the ladies have a lot going on. Madison’s husband buys her a new business but it is full of a lot of miscellaneous stuff. They hire someone to go through the extensive items and find everything under the sun. The mystery continues with helping a friend and the chase is on. Love the story keeps me laughing and guessing until the end. Bought them all. Really recommend them as a fun and well written books!

Never disappointed with this series.

Great series full of twists and turns. Not a run of the mill same as everyone else series. These characters pop! They are unique and interesting. I enjoy the way they relate to each other as they face each new challenge. The humor sprinkled throughout each adventure is just the right touch. Already anticipating the next release. Thank you for the hours of enjoyable entertainment your books provide.

Stolen in Paradise by Deborah Brown

Well Ms Brown you did it again! Series Book 31, and you didn’t disappoint. Loved reading about the characters I’ve gotten to know so well in Books 1-30. It felt like going home. The personalities of Madison and Fab complement each other, and the mysteries and situations that they get into is downright hilarious! Please write more in the Florida Keys Mystery Series.

wonderful read!

I just love Madison and Fabs shenanigans! There’s at least one dead body going to show up somewhere every time and sexy Creole is always going to have Madison’s back as well as Fabs hubby! The characters are so fun and well developed and the action is clamp packed, the story flows so smooth you’re truly smiling while reading. Then when your at the end and realize it’s the end your like wait I need more!!!!

Each Book is Better Than the Last!

I always enjoy reading about what Madison & Fab get into. This time there are quite a few sticky situations. I will say I miss the Hummer. Maybe another one in the future? Otherwise the entire gang is back in full force doing what they do best - kicking ass!

Always Happy to Share an Adventure with Madison & Fab

This episode was action packed. I enjoy all the characters, but Madeline, Madison's mother makes me tired. She wants in on the action but criticizes them having action. Clive, though his role was small makes smile, Jake's staff is always fun. Thanks for sharing your stories.

another winner

Madison and Fab’s exploits are well documented, but Deborah Brown keeps coming up with new ones to report. Their friendship is one for the books. And their assemblage of family and friends keeps them in new material to tell. I love this series. I love that they show up for each other, no matter what. Can’t wait for 32.

Love and Mystery in Paradise

This is a feel good book. Whether rushing down the Overseas highway to escape an oversized truck trying to knock you into the water or sliding down a dirt road to outrun same with goal to destroy the troublesome duo of Fab and Madison! Love the exciting detective work by the delectable duo plus hanging out with their hunky hubbies!

Another Crime or Two Wrapped Up

I actually like this book a little more than some. While the gang is up to their usual hijinks, it’s not quite as goofy as most of the books. No drunks off the rails, the professor mostly wears clothes, no shootings at Jake’s. It’s nice to have it be a bit less cliche.

Just Another Day in Paradise!
This book is part of a fun series set in South Florida. The girls get into mischief but do try to keep their guys informed. This episode is full of all of the adventures that make this series fun. Lots of humor and bad guys getting their due. If you enjoy the series, you will love this episode.

This series is starting to feel formulaic. There are still laughs and humor, but due to the age of these characters, it comes across as immature and expected. I would love to see these characters grow and develop in their roles. I am starting to feel like the author has run out of ideas.

Stealing my heart

Another exciting read from Ms.Brown. I love this series and I feel like all the characters are old friends. I kinda want to be in that world but I may be too boring for Fab. Looking forward to the next episode.

slower to get into than the other books

After binge reading the other books in this series and really enjoying them, I felt this one lacked pace and the story wasn’t as gripping as previous ones in the series, it’s not a bad book just not what I expected

Another romp with Madison and Fab

The story was pretty good, but I could've done without the repeated use (4 times, I believe) of a slang term for a woman's vagina...please do better, Ms. Brown.
