"I love this book and really wish I had it when I was first starting out. Gregg’s voice is that of a supportive, knowledgeable, and fun friend who is there to guide us past the stumbling blocks we all carry from fear, negative programming, or feelings of unworthiness -- and connect to the creative “source” that we all possess. Using practical and moving examples from his own journey as a writer and musician, Gregg shows us how connecting to, and expressing, our creativity can greatly improve our lives. It’s also the kind of book where you can open to a random page and get a dose of inspiration, or an encouraging word, whenever the tank feels empty. Whether you’re starting out, a seasoned professional, or just looking to find your path toward a more creative life, Let it Out is a flashlight." — Chris Rossi, screenwriter Meadowland

Gregg Stewart’s Let It Out is a heartfelt and transformative guide for anyone seeking to embrace their creative identity and rediscover the joy of self-expression. With an impressive background across music, film, writing, and teaching, Stewart brings both depth and relatability to the table. The book speaks directly to those who may feel disconnected from their creative instincts—whether due to time constraints, self-doubt, or the pressures of modern life—and offers a clear, encouraging path back to a more inspired and fulfilling way of living.

What makes this book stand out is its practical yet soulful approach. Stewart doesn’t present creativity as something exclusive to artists or professionals, but as an innate human capacity that everyone can access. Through insightful reflections, real-life anecdotes, and hands-on tools, he illustrates how creative expression can serve as a vital outlet for emotional clarity, personal growth, and mental well-being. His tone is approachable and conversational, making even complex emotional blocks feel less intimidating and more manageable. It’s evident that he genuinely wants readers to succeed in reclaiming their voice and exploring their imagination freely.

Rather than relying on abstract theories, Stewart offers grounded strategies to overcome common hurdles that often stifle creativity—like fear of failure, perfectionism, and the inner critic. Each chapter invites the reader to take small, meaningful steps toward creating with intention and authenticity. His guidance is both motivational and actionable, making it easy for readers to apply what they’ve learned to their own creative routines, whether they’re picking up a pen, an instrument, or simply exploring new ways of thinking.
Let It Out is ultimately a powerful reminder that creativity is not just an artistic endeavor, but a fundamental part of living a full and truthful life. Stewart challenges us to make space for our inner voice and treat creative time as essential to our well-being, not a luxury. Whether you’re at the beginning of your journey or looking to reconnect with your artistic spirit, this book offers not just encouragement, but a clear path forward. It’s an inspiring and compassionate companion for anyone ready to show up more fully in their work, their relationships, and themselves.
