In a whimsical world of steampunk mixed with Wonderland lives a hardworking little girl named Flora who's been led to believe that she must earn her home, her friends, and her belonging — she believes that her only value is in what she can DO, and not in who she IS.

When the portal stops working and she finds herself abandoned with kindly strangers, Flora is faced with a wonderful book, a lifetime of fears, and a challenge that will take every scrap of courage to face.

The part of me that resonates with the fragile little girl in this story was beyond elated by the powerful ending to this tale and it's one that I plan on sharing with my own children. 💕 It actually took me a few days to write this review because this story hit me so hard in a good way! 🥹😭 I needed time to sit with the beautiful images and feelings this book gave me.

@jtharriswriter is an incredible writer and has a way of weaving very real concepts of grace and relationship with God into the most charmingly fantastical worlds. Make sure you don't skip her personal note at the end where she tells you how she met Christ — it is well worth the read!

Beyond Ink is a fantastic book that can be enjoyed by both children and adults alike! 📚✨️🍄 I can not wait to see what the author writes next!
