Most people don’t relish visits from their former employers, and I’m usually one of them. But when my part-troll ex boss shows up with enchanted coffee and a lead on my missing mother, I find myself singing a different tune. Of course, there’s always a price, especially with people like Dawn.
And unfortunately this new lead is almost as confusing as the growing connection between me and four different magical men. They might be the key to me traveling to different realms, but when I start to sense invisible golden threads binding us together, I can’t help but second guess everything.
Regardless of those fears, we’ll have to test those bonds when finding a poisoned nymph pulls us right into a fresh mystery. Who would ever want to harm a young innocent girl, and what exactly does it have to do with the mystery surrounding my mother?
Find out in White Little Lies, book three of Four Ways to Fate, a cozy “why choose” fantasy with slow burn steam and plenty of banter, romantic tension, and magical hijinks. We may have a few cliffhangers along the way, but rest assured, all four heroes will get their happy endings.

I devoured this one and now I'm longing for the next one! It's pretty action packed with a lot going on and more secrets being unveiled. I honestly couldn't stop reading it. I'm full on invested in the story at this point. There's still a cozy vibe to it even with the action. The part with the nymphs was a fun journey to go, and I like that it led to some answers. It had a side quest vibe at first but it definitely helps the main story. The cliffhanger that this one ended on had me kicking my feet because I know the next book is going to focus on her with Sebastian and Crispin. So I seriously can't wait to get my hands on it!
I’m so confused by this train-wreck that I had to keep reading. I am thankful that book 4 isn’t out yet because I would have lost sleep trying to finish it… I’m blaming all the cough syrup I took today. Also, 3 books later and all we get is dreams? Dreams about Sebastian! I am upset! 😠
In this, the third book in the series, which I read in one sitting as I could not put it down, Eva is dragging all the boys with her into further dangers as she gets involved in nymph politics she knows nothing about. She does this when she saves the life of a young nymph called Aaliyah from a poisoning, however upon returning her to her home she gets them all embroiled in the theft of the well which was the nymph's community's strength and power. Eva also notices that her bonds to her four lovers were now so well entrenched they could all feel each other's actions and whereabouts. So when Sebastian, the devil in the group also made up of elves and goblins, cuts his ties to her, she knows he is in trouble and follows him, to the hells themselves. What she discovers there unsettles her, the devil causing the mischief is so powerful and knew her mother, the one everyone seemed to be looking for. The bounty on her had been increased and so many wanted to gain the realm breaker, whilst all she wanted was to find her mother, and save the goblin realm from unravelling. I love the magic in this series, the heat of the reverse harem building around Eva, and I love the little companion Ringo Eva has acquired. Things do not end so well in this book as they are all in hiding. So I look forward in anticipation to the next book in this fantastic, hot and sexy magical series!
✨ Why choose? ✨ Slow burn ✨ Magical mystery ✨ Found family
Spice: 🌶️🌶️
White Little Lies delivers a solid continuation of the series, and I liked this book a little more than the previous two. Things get a little more exciting, with the mystery surrounding Eva's missing mother deepening and a new, compelling case involving a poisoned nymph. The book maintains its cozy romantasy vibe, and the slow burn romance is handled exceptionally well, keeping you invested in the characters' emotional journeys.
Eva's established relationships with Mistral and Gabriel provide a comfortable foundation, while the tantalizing development of her connections with Sebastian and Crispin creates a delicious tension. I had expected there to have been a relationship established with either Sebastian or Crispin in this book but it seems we will see how this develops in the next book. The mysterious golden threads linking Eva to these men add an intriguing layer to the story, prompting her (and the reader) to question everything.
The plot was well-paced and engaging, successfully weaving together the personal stakes of Eva's search with the broader mystery of the poisoned nymph.
I sadly didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did the other two. It wasn’t as gripping and I’m struggling to see where the random tangents of side stories are going. I want more Mistral and Crispin and much less Gabriel. I also find Eva a bit of a nothing character, but maybe it’s just because there are too many other characters to give her much personality other than being an absolute sex fiend. More power to her, but I’d like more substance. I think I’d like more back story and less description on what people are wearing! I know her mother stole her memories so that limits some backstory but what about what her adult life has been like up until now? I do also feel like there are so many side quests and side characters that the book would benefit from a few catch ups throughout whenever a character appears or there’s a reference to something that happened in a previous book. I read a lot so things tend to slip away from my brain after a while. Even though not a lot happened in this book, I will be reading the next one in the hopes that we can reach a satisfying conclusion!
I feel like the 2nd and 3rd books could’ve been combined. It’s crazy that so much has happened but I don’t feel like the plot has progressed that much.
The “fated mates” trope is my favorite and this one isn’t written very well. Like how we basically never hear from Mistral. The author had a couple POV sections for Gabriel and Crispin. Why couldn’t she do that for Mistral to keep him in the story? I don’t like how the only time Eva goes to the Bogs is to basically fuck then leave. It cheapens their relationship to me and he’s clearly such a good guy. The author also needs way more flirty moments with Crispin. Otherwise, he’s just kind of there in a friendly way. There are these random moments where they start kissing but it doesn’t feel organic.
Single pov, 1st person. Eva is developing her relationship with Mistral and Gabriel, while trying go not fall for the devil and figuring out what the elf means. All while trying to stay alive, find her mother, not get into more contracts, and save an innocent nymph along the way. There were a couple of times the editor failed, sentences that made no sense as is, but it was not annoying enough to reduce a star. The story is going strong, though the installments are still too short, as if someone is trying to spoon feed us.
I gave this book 3 stars because it needs better editing, and the story doesn't seem to advance much. While I enjoyed seeing the developing connection between Eva and her men, I felt that many events occurred unexpectedly, without contributing to any new progress in the plot. It was rather disappointing, but I hope the next instalment will be more engaging.
Eva’s search for her mother has taken her to new realms along giving us new characters adding to the mystery and more questions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The why choose with 4 different magical men helping her in the quest is starting to heat up 🌶🌶🌶 leading us to a cliffhanger to book four.
I love these books! My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that I desperately wish we had more of the male main character's POVs. I would also love to see more of the world in general, and longer books, but again, that's just because I want MORE.
Just keeps getting more interesting and with so many twists and turns and I am 70 and I am blushing , whew . Sara can sure write some very dreamy and steamy pages . On to the 4 th book in 3 days reading. I hope there will be more after it.
Book 3 continues the hunt for Eva’s mom. Deals are struck and alliances are made. Turns out, there’s another piece to the puzzle and the Angel was tricked into killing everyone. I won’t ruin that surprise for you, cause it’s juicy!!
This seems like a side quest book not much got resolved, and the random nymphs in there just seemed kind of odd. Still a good story just a little bit dragging.
This is, in my opinion the best book in the series so far, the book is just the right amount of spice, with captivating characters and a thrilling storyline.
In my opinion, this is the best book of the series so far. I really like the close-up views of all the different cultures. There are nymph bakers and gargoyle barista’s and vampire bartenders. What a fun world to spend a couple hours in!
It picked up great from the other books! I love the characters and the storyline is so good! I really can't wait for the next book! Definitely recommend!
This was a fun, quick read. That epilogue was so cruel though. Been teasing the readers for 3 books now with Sebastian and all we get are dreams! I need more Sebastian and Crispin in book 4.
Poor Eva does not catch a break, nor does she get a decent nights sleep!!! Book 3 just as good as the first two. Highly recommend. Full of revelations. 5 stars.
