The next three books in this series really kicks the adventure up a notch and expands on and answers questions you may have had after reading the first three books. Here are my reviews for each of the next books:
Book Four- The Captive Throne: This a fabulous book four! The story of Princess Evaraine and Prince Danric does not disappoint and both discover their true feelings and their strength together. We also meet familiar characters and the new characters add to the enjoyment of the storyline. Plenty of dark adventure! Here comes book five when we really meet the elusive Prince:)
Book Five- The Uncrowned Prince: This is my absolute favorite book of the series! In her beautiful way, Kenley Davidson makes this story come alive with characters that become alive to you, and not just words on a page. Prince Vaniell takes your breath away with his emergence as who he truly is, and prior to that with his kindness, courage, and integrity as Niell in his hidden life. Karreya is a strong new female character who plays and will play a key role in how this all turns out. Later we meet more beloved characters from prior installments of the series and the scene is set for book six. And that epilogue-yikes! Escape from whatever you are doing and read this book!
Book Six- The Sundered Blade: Reading a final installment is like saying goodbye to dear friends, who you know you'll want to visit again. This series was exciting, heartwarming, sometimes scary, and filled with memorable characters and words that can inspire for a lifetime. Prince Vaniell is absolutely my favorite prince with all his brokenness put back together by those who love him, even though he wasn't sure they did- but we love him!!! His strength, determination and dedication to what is right proves his character over and over again. Karreya is true to herself and rewarded for that. At the heart of it all are those words spoken that make their way into our hearts, loyalty, caring, respect and commitment. And yes, the worst villain gets what he deserves! I will miss these characters but am sure that Kenley will have more in store with new adventures and worlds to entertain and inspire us!
