“It’s funny, you live your life misunderstood and unappreciated, then someone tells you they feel guilty that they don’t show you any appreciation and you suddenly feel bad about how you were seeing things.”
Good thing i don’t own the next volume, because i cry so much and i couldn’t stop crying the whole time i was reading this volume . So not ready for the next one…
Oh man...! This one is really tough, it delves deep into Black’s past with his abuser as he attempts to recollect his fragmented memory. Despite spiraling down to the lowest point of his depression, there was still a positive change and he started to see a little bit of sunshine. White was often in the background in this volume, but he intervened when he was needed. He is really good to Black and I’m glad that Black shows his appreciation. I love this one, it does not shy away from discussing and showing the darker side of depression albeit it’s need of a trigger warning because some scenes are quite hard to read through.
This series is so amazing to read. It discusses trauma and mental health. The author does a great job showing you it’s not all black and white with mental health and traumatic pasts.
