The wife of a serial killer. That’s what most people see when looking at Susan Argyle. Her life had been turned inside out six months ago, but she’s recovering. Until a rabbit shows up on her doorstep with a knife through its heart. The attached note says, You’re next Murderer. Her instant response is to call the detective with the kind eyes.
Police Detective Gary Wassman had found Susan’s strength appealing when he told her that her husband had been arrested for a string of murders. Now months later, she has a stalker with murderous intent, and Gary will do anything necessary to protect her. Can he also convince this damaged woman that she can take a chance on love again?
I decided to try writing what I like to read, and stories started filling my head. Now it's an obsession.
I’ve written in different genres, but the stories I keep coming back to are the romantic suspense. When I wrote the first Rawlins book, I thought it would be the only paranormal. Then I said ‘what if…’ and now children of the first characters and a couple of friends have books.
I wrote my first stories in 2014 but didn’t publish until 2019.
I’ve been called a Jane-of-all-trades, from seamstress to house and furniture designer/builder to computer programmer to technical writer and bookkeeper. I even do car maintenance. All can help with writing a story.
I grew up in Michigan, but Massachusetts has been my home for more years than I care to think about. I love the history here, the museums and antique houses, the seacoast and hiking trails.
The story cute I like it. I love that Susan took time to care about her family even with all the drama that was happening around her. But I’m gonna tell you if I have one complaint about this book it’s the part where she gets CPR done and the only thing that hurts on her is her throat.. it could just be the medical professional in me, but the fact that I know that more than her throat would hurt and she would’ve been in the hospital more than just a day just didn’t really sit well. Otherwise the book was great.
