The book...speaks of the story of a young man named Imran, who the writer himself once discovered in a Godless position. Despite his life living in a country like the United Kingdom being psychologically chaotic enough to force him at one stage to visit a medical doctor. When the doctor was unable to comfort him mentally, couldn't offer something appealing to move on, he himself commenced a journey to find out if there was a true meaning of life or a true purpose. In spite of his by-born Muslim identity, the religion he mostly neglected was Islam, and began to search for the other major religions. Nothing could kindle a light in his heart until the day when he thought for a while, why not give Islam a chance too. He put steps gradually to explore more and ended up finding more enthusiasm and excitement as Islam started to answer his complex questions that once he found bold, brazen, and perhaps irrefutable. How did his life then change forever? How did he start dealing with the trials and tribulations of life? His very first feeling about the holy city of Mecca, emotions in Medina, and the way he started looking at the world has completely altered. This is the story of the book whispering to the reader to explore more.

An extraordinarily well written narrative account that dissects the various dominant worldviews and philosophies of our time. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, and found myself pausing often to reflect. I enjoyed the frequent analysis of Islam juxtaposed to the popular alternative worldviews (postmodernism, naturalism, existentialism, absurdism, nihilism, etc.)

May Allah make it easy for me and for others out there who are suffering or going through a similar spiritual turmoil as described in this book.
