Precious has always flouted the rules, and when it comes to murder, it’s no different. She’s got two loose ends to tie up, but her boyfriend, Boycie, tells her to wait—it’s too soon after her last kill. So she’s reduced to spying at one of her victims through a window, waiting, taking the risk of getting caught…

Boycie’s got a feeling Precious isn’t all she’s cracked up to be. He’s known her since they were kids, well aware how selfish she is. But he’s selfish, too, and if it means saving his own skin when it comes to The Brothers, he’s not averse to murder either…

Goddess works at the Orange Lantern, a brothel, and she’s hiding a secret. She turns to the twins for help, and they’re once again on the warpath, this time with a married couple in their sights. What they don’t know is she’s hiding many secrets, but will she cave in and reveal them before it’s too late?

Then someone walks into the pub and heads straight for Greg, telling him a few home truths. Why does he just sit there and take it? Why isn’t he raging angry, giving them what for? Find out on another trip to the Cardigan Estate, where life, for the twins at least, is never a bed of roses.

Emmy Ellis you are a star...!

I have to admit that I haven't written reviews on every book in the series, but that was because I wanted to go to the next book.
So now I have read 33 ?? And have enjoyed each and everyone. Cleverly written, weaving one situation into another was a work of art.
I have a confession to make. I choose series with a lot of box so I can do what I have just done with this set, ending one and going to the next, the reason is because I don't have the capability anymore to remember what happened in the last book. My short-term memory loss has gotten far worse as I age. So for someone like me, who has this issue, reading 33 books back to back has been brilliant. But sadly, I won't remember even writing this, I have to choose what to remember, what's most important, what is vital. Trust me when I say wake up each morning and I have to lie there, wonder where I am,who I am, and when I move and it hurts, I have to wonder What the help did I do last night !!!! So that is my confession. I'm like a groundhog day, every day, I am used to it now, and I laugh at myself everyday, because it's funny, especially when parcels arrive, lots of parcels, and I have no clue that I've ordered anything 😁😁😂 So reading saves me money !!! And my kids don't give me the Oh Mother look, you know the eye roll look.
I will leave you in peace.
Thank you so very much for being an astounding author and has kept me quiet for a couple of weeks xxx

No day is the same on the Cardigan Estate. However residents never learn. They seem to have forgotten what will happen to them.

Lets meet the residents in question

Precious - a selfish person who only thinks of herself and has no hesitation to killing. She has her eyes on eliminating 3 people for her own needs. She will not see what is coming her way.

Farah and Joseph - a couple whom run a sex racket. They ignored the rules, threatened a resident and are in for a chopping lesson.

This book ended on a cliff hanger and I cant wait for the next book as another 2 residents will be in for a shock. They have seen the nice side of the twins and are due to see the other half where they shine.

In their courtroom only 2 people preside- Judge and Executioner.
