The first attempt at writing a book designed to help Catholic parents help their kids choose a Catholic college. In the past it was assumed that any university that called itself Catholic, was indeed Catholic. Not true today, as we have many notoriously heterodoxical "Catholic" schools whose claim to fame is that they are open enough to host the "Vagina Monologues," or an art exhibit featuring Our Lady in a bikini. The 21 schools featured in this book have all been vetted by the author and editors. However, I would have liked to have seen more about scholarships and endowments of these schools. I understand they plan on issuing updated versions of the guide, so perhaps we will see it expand with a greater number of schools making the cut, as well as more information for parents as to how to pay for these schools.
