All or Nothing

Rate this book
One lie could tear her apart—or build a life she never dreamed possible.

Willow Spencer is over the moon about snagging a dream partnership to open a brewery in the charming town of Mapleton. There's just one minor hiccup: her fiancé is dead-set against moving. Determined to have it all, she spins a lie and buys the brewery, convinced she can juggle her new venture and her relationship. The only thing she’s not sure she can handle? Her formidable new business partner.
Max Keller won’t let anything stop him from opening his pub, including his flighty new partner, who’s clearly hiding something. But that’s okay. He’ll drag her along with him down the path to success if he must. But as they work together, Max discovers Willow is not only capable but also sharp, funny, and surprisingly easy to talk to.
Their unspoken bond intensifies even as Willow and Max fight against the attraction between them. But what will happen when Willow’s lie unravels and her old and new lives collide?

In All or Nothing, author Diana Deehan delivers a heartfelt, grumpy/sunshine romcom about two broken people blindsided by real love.

Thoughts:

Max Keller is a stubborn perfectionist who doesn't let anyone get in his way and loves to be in charge of his own life.

Max needs a new brewmaster for his new pub, and him and his partner Adam bring in Willow for an interview.

How can this people-pleasing brewmaster and the stubborn perfectionist work together?

It's hard to go wrong with a Mapleton story! I have read both Fight or Flight and Now or Never and All or Nothing is right up there with them! You can never go wrong with small town interconnected stand alones’. This is a true grumpy/sunshine trope where he’s supportive and protective but not to the detriment of the sunshine. Max is a burly and scowly man with a rough background and Willow is a brewmaster (I know it's so exciting! And she’s so good at it too!!) who also comes from a broken home. The characters are lovable and fit right in with the other Mapleton characters (it’s always nice to see friends from Fight or Flight and Now or Never!). I will say that I am not the biggest fan of how fast the love story moved, especially with Willow being engaged to Shane for a good chunk of the story but it doesn’t hinder the story very much! This is a lovely easy read that makes for a cozy and giggled filled afternoon!

I love Mapleton!!

Willow and Max's story was full of terrible love and even more terrible friends.
Max lived in a broken home, raised his little sister and has become adamant that people in his life live up to a certain standard.
Willow lost her mom at a young age and moved to the arctic cold of Churchill with her father. Met her best friend and fiancé, When her dream job comes along and he refuses to let her leave, she does what she needs to do...she lies...

Max and Willow's story was so good! I loved their grumpy sunshine workplace love story.

Diana writes such believable characters and creates a small town anyone would love to live in! I know I would.
I can't wait to return to Mapleton again soon!

Thank you Diana for the ARC copy of this book!

I'm a little disappointed in this book. I enjoyed the second book so much and was estatic to ARC review this one. However, as I was reading it, the concept of the story felt a little weak. It felt more insta-love than slow burn like in the second book. It was a nice change that Max was more put together but when it came to willow she was a flip-flop. It's not a bad book as the writing style is maintain but this was a little let-down. I still look forward to reading the other books.

Another great small town romance!!! Diana didn’t disappoint! I love her stories! They are so believable and full of life! I loved how the main characters interacted and bantered back and forth and how they developed their relationship. The supporting characters are great as well!! I look forward to reading more of Diana’s stories about the other characters that were featured. Thanks Diana!

Brewmaster Willow has been languishing at the small brewery in her tiny hometown she’s worked at since she was nineteen. When a wonderful opportunity to take a position in a larger market with complete creative control and a much healthier salary presents itself, she turns it down when her fiancé refuses to entertain the idea.

Entrepreneur Sam is impressed with Willow as a potential brewmaster; she’s hands down the most qualified candidate but he finds her challenging due to their initial interaction. When she turns down their first offer, he and his business partner devise a plan to have her buy in to the business but run it remotely once it’s opened successfully. (This is a head scratcher, but tbh idk what all is involved, so whatever.)

Willow decides to take them up on the buyout and concocts a whopper of a cover story for needing to spend an extended period of time away while she embarks on the “forbidden” venture. While working alongside Max, Willow finds herself having very unprofessional thoughts about him.

This book is part of the Mapleton series, but it’s not necessary to have read any of the previous books.

Okay here’s the thing: I really liked the description of this book and I was looking forward to reading it. but it’s billed as “laugh out loud” which is definitely not what I believe was a promise kept. I found it to be more angsty than romcom, and here’s why: the FMC through a great deal of the book just lets things happen to her rather than actively participating in her own life. To wit: as the book begins she’s been in a long term relationship with her fiancé but he had an online sexting affair and she not only took him back but agreed to marry him. Next, she tells him the Big Lie to begin her partnership in the Mapleton brew pub. Thirdly she admits to having entertained thoughts of having sex with one of her new business partners (the MMC) while she’s still involved with her fiancé and while still maintaining the fiction about where she is and why she’s actually there. Then, the sheer implausibility of her having a nest egg - large enough to buy into a brewpub - that her former high school sweetheart and live in fiancé never knew about made me want to hurl my kindle. Why would a financially healthy individual allow a proven cheater dictate terms of her future? Finally, confrontation in the brewpub was another instance where Willow gave up decision making. For all these reasons and more, I give it 3.5 stars, rounded up to four.

I received an advance reader copy from the author and BookSirens, and I’m sharing my honest review.

First of all, I feel like Max could be a MMC in a mafia romance. He scares me a little. But in a good way? Like he could toss me around, but I’d probably like it. But his need to control everything and everyone is a bit much.
Willow was by far the star of the book. I was enamoured with her, though I wanted to give her a shake everytime she put aside her happiness for one of the Churchill group (they’re all toxic. I will die on that hill.)
The twist at the end was mind blowing. I did not see it coming. But I mentally was clapping so hard at how Willow handled it. Her growth throughout the book from a people-pleaser who never did anything for herself into a woman who put herself first was amazing. I would have liked to see a bit more growth from Max, I’m not convinced he won’t turn back into his super-controlling self, but I know Willow will be able to take him on and put him in his place.
This was a fast-paced, entertaining romcom. The whole Mapleton series is one that every romcom fan should have on their bookshelf.

Cute + steamy small town workplace romance!

I love the Mapleton series, and Willow + Max didn't disappoint. The two end up business partners of a brew pub, and it's definitely not love at first sight. Max is the perfect grumpy MMC. Willow is torn between chasing her dream, and not rocking the boat with people in her life. As a recovering people pleaser myself, her character really resonated with me. I was cheering for her to stand up for herself.

There was good tension build up, especially with Maxhole's bad attitude and bossy nature, and Willow's inability to let him get his way. That dynamic made for some good steamy scenes...the office 🥵

Diana's books are so easy to read, and really embody that small town feel. I'm looking forward to Cara+ Antonio's book next!

***Sidenote: I need to know if this Fuzzy Milkshake beer is real! My mouth was watering reading about it and I'm not even a huge beer drinker!

Having read the other two books in the series, I was super excited to get the opportunity to review the e-arc for this 3rd book, Max & Willow's story. He owns a pub and needs someone to brew the beer in the attached brewery, so enters Willow, an exceptionally talented brewmaster. Sparks and grumpy x sunshine vibes from the start, the banter between the two is great. I loved the character development between the MMC & FMC. I did find Willow to be a bit annoying at times with her indecisiveness and people-pleasing, though I get it was all character growth for her. I have loved each book in this series and cannot wait to read Cara & Antonio's story! Definitely would recommend to rom-com fans and everyone should check out this series for feel-good, entertaining romances. Thank you so much to Diana Deehan, the publisher, & BookSirens for the opportunity to review this! I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

This was my second read from this author, and I am definitely ready for more.

What I loved about this read was that Willow is a Brew master! Certainly interesting.
I could not stop flipping the pages, as grumpy, non-trusting Max learned that she was exceptional at her job, and I enjoyed watching his turn-around. Of course, his growing attraction to her was fun too!

The interactions between Willow and Shane were difficult, and I wanted that resolved differently, but in the end, I was satisfied with how Max and Willow reached their HEA.

Grab this one - it is entertaining, with great banter and some funny interactions. I recommend reading in order for the best experience, but this can be enjoyed as a stand alone. My complimentary ARC came from Booksirens, and I happily leave my review.

I love reading about Mapleton. Interconnected standalones are my favorite type of series to read. The fact that I haven't read the first one in a year and a half or the second in months didn't really matter. You still know who everybody is and a vague idea of how their relationships work and it's great.

The only real issue I personally had was just how much of a people pleaser Willow was. Like, sure, it was believable to an extent. But it never really felt like she was making choices on her own. More like she waited for the situation to get bad enough that there was only one option. And it didn't really feel like growth.

No other notes though. Great story!!

And we're back in Mapleton for the third installment of this series. This book focuses on Max, who along with his friend Adam (from book 2) purchase and work on opening a new restaurant in Mapleton. The one thing they are in need of is a brewmaster. Willow is the person they need! She's from a small town and has dreams of opening her owning her own brew pub. She has a lot of baggage in her hometown that are preventing her from achieving her dreams. Can accepting an offer from Max make her occupational dreams a reality? But what about her personal life? This book is an enjoyable, quick read with a few twists and turns as well as lessons in honesty.

A Lovely Small-Town Romance_

This book is a great mix of humor, romance, and self-discovery. A woman escapes a bad relationship and finds love in a charming small town. The story is funny, light, and easy to read.

I loved the funny conversations between the two main characters - they're perfect for each other! The characters grow and change in a believable way, and the humor is fantastic.

This book is great for anyone looking for a fun, romantic read with relatable characters. It's perfect for fans of small-town romances. Don't expect surprising twists, but do expect a heartwarming story.

Willow wants more from her life, she's unhappy at work, her relationship needs attention and whe an opportunity arises to maybe help she jumps. She's hoping if it goes to plan her fiance will move with her. Max sits in on the interview with the woman and sits and listens, maybe he appears stand offish but his work is important. The series is set in Mapleton and characters from previous books make appearances in this book as well. This is a brilliant small town story, the only issue I found was how long it took Willow to sort out her engagement yet still have chemistry with Max. All in all the story is good and it's great being able to feel connected with the characters past and present

This is book 3 in Deehan's Mapleton series. A great addition to the series but can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on our main characters Max and Willow and is a slow burn, grumpy/sunshine romance read. I loved the banter between these two characters and the growth both individually and together make with such a captivating read. Well written and smooth flowing storyline that also leads to the excitement of the next in this series with appears to feature the focus on Cara and Antonio. So excited for more!

Diana Deehan does it again!

It is nice to read something that is somewhere a little more locally as it really makes the story and characters closer to home.

Max and Willow are the perfect example of grumpy meets sunshine. Both characters have some baggage and they come from similar backgrounds. The two just fit together and all of their interactions feel natural; they just feel so real.

This book is perfect is you’re looking for a palate cleanser between heavier reads and need to just last back and enjoy some good banter and a some spice.

I cannot wait for the next instalment!

Oh Max, you giant, gorgeous, dumb man. And Willow, you sweet, sassy, indecisive woman. This book frustrated me like nothing else and I loved every second of it!!! Max, my God! Open your mouth and use your words to tell people what you really want instead of being all stoic and pushing them away!!! And Willow! Cut those toxic people from you life and move on to bigger and better things!!! (Yes I 100% meant that in whatever way you read it)

Max's relationship with Cara, adorable even when it's frustrating and the way Willow instantly becomes part of the Mapleton squad despite all she's been through with her circle back home was really nice. Sometimes the best thing is to start fresh. It doesn't hurt when the scenery is so nice

Willow is a craft beer maker from Churchill Man. who attends a job interview in Mapleton Ont. Max is the grumpy part owner of the restaurant/brewery and has control issues. Willow and Max clash many times but Willow is strong and determined. A tenuous friendship starts which them turns to an attraction. Great book could not put it down

scheming and the outcome
I just love this author and her Mapleton series, again her amusing characters had me love out loud at their arguments and I loved how both Willow and Max thought they could make the other see things their way, but in the end they proved to be perfect for each other.

I flew through this book! I loved the characters and their banter. I also enjoyed the other side characters in this book. I had not read the others in this series but I'll definitely be adding them to my TBR.

I felt like Willow was really relatable, with her insecurities and hesitancy to branch out and try something new. I really liked her "shop talk" and actually wish there would have been a bit more about her process or experimentation as a brewer. I found myself rooting for her and her success from page one, and wanted to reach through the page and throat punch her fiancé.

I found Max and his grumpiness to be swoon-worthy. I'm a sucker for a big guy who is a negative Nelly but sweet to the FMC, and he certainly fit the bill.
