The writing is stiff and the paintings seem dull in color. Not like I know his work.

My proudest moment is reading this in a day during *the winter lockdown* - you know? that shitty depressing one. This book gives a comprehensive and interesting look at Cezanne’s life whom I love so I found it enjoyable to sit down and spend some time with him. The palletes at the end are stun <33
