This is such an insanely short story, it almost feels a little ridiculous to write a review for it, so I’m going to keep this very brief: Without using many words, the author still manages to incorporate an interesting and unexpected twist in her story. A twist that gives us an intriguing perspective on fear, danger and appearances.
What...!? Now that my daughter has finally stopped laughing at me, I can write this silly review that will probably be a lot longer than the actual story really is. I wasn't even going to write a review but we were laughing so hard at this that I felt compelled to do so.
This literally is 100 words (well, I didn't actually count the words, but it really is that short.) I kept pressing the down arrow trying to read more and my daughter started laughing at me and finally had to tell me to stop. "Mom, stop! That's it. That's the end of the story." What, what do you mean!? Where's the rest of it? As soon as I realized that that really was all we both busted out laughing.
Not sure why this would go on here or why it had such high reviews. Really, go read it and tell me it deserves four star reviews.
In my opinion, Susan Ee managed to give me chills and all kinds of creepy feelings climbed up my spines after reading this extremely short story. I was also quite confused at the same time; that's probably why I like it. With only 100 words, she undoubtedly nailed it.
That went completely over my head! 100 words just isn't enough for me to feel invested in a story so it completely missed the mark for me unfortunately.
If anyone is interested you can read this for free on Wattpad though
