Read this with my 8-year-old. Cute story, some good issues to discuss with kids (definition of "family," belief in oneself, perseverance, etc.) Mostly happy that my son is excited about checking out GNs from the school library. :)

what i learned from th estory was that even though you have a step brother you need to except them because you never know when you will need them.
