Meet Tiffany, Heather and Seth, the employees of Happy Endings. The customers and inhabitants of this adult video and toy store will have you rolling off your chair laughing as you're taken on a whirlwind ride of flying adult toys, glory holes manned by huge sweaty men and what the locals refer to as "Cuntingham Palace."
Adult Video is a brand-new, genre-defying series from the author of Fifty Shades of Lexi Maxxwell
Lexi Maxxwell is already one of the best erotica authors in the world, with a 4.9/5 star average rating across all bookstores and a plethora of titles that will get you all kinds of hot. With Adult Video, she takes it to a whole new level.

Adult Video 1 is primarily a straight comedy about co-workers at an adult video/toy store. The scenes are mostly about their lives and the interaction of employees and/or customers at a business. You probably won't see this story on network television as it plays out; however, the interaction between all the characters are real enough to be funny and believable.
And for the faithful Lexi Maxxwell fans, there is enough sex thrown in to know who wrote it.
This book is exactly what is promised,Clerks in a porn shop. It also delivers on it's promise to tickle your funny bone,as well as other things. The characters are believable and the dialogue rings true throughout. Having worked retail I could actually relate to some of what happens in these stories, especially dealing with customers. And even though the stories main focus is humor they are still definitely erotic as well. Guaranteed to make you laugh and rev your engine.
The description "Clerks in a sex shop" perfectly describes this laugh-out-loud serial. The farcical situations are ramped up to the point of delirium and the sexy teasing that goes on between the staff, punctuated by hot and heavy activity in the back room, makes for highly arousing reading. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
A humorous premise with a lot of good jokes that was really well written - definitely like "Clerks in a porn shop" - don't think it's something I'd pick up again however. This is the first erotica I've read and not sure it's a genre I'll bother with a whole lot.
Most erotica takes itself way, way too seriously. This - the first short piece in a series about the employees of an adult video store - definitely does not. There were moments when I laughed so hard that I was concerned I would wake up my roommate. (Have you got the impression that I prefer funny writing to sexy writing? You would be right.) I'm not rushing out to buy the next in the series (this one was free) but the fact that I actually read all the way through it says a lot.
SAMPLE PARAGRAPH
The rules of the game said that the staff had to start making guesses about what the customers would buy within the first 10 seconds they were in the store. If they waited too long, you could tell where they were headed. Most customers meandered, but some knew their game and shot straight for their desires.
Erotic fiction with comedy and it’s a good mix. I have always thought that the person you can laugh with in bed is the one. This was a free download from the Sterling & Stone website when you join their mailing list. In fact, they give away the first volume of all their series and believe me, that’s a lot of series. It’s 85 pages, divided into three sections and follows the three staff at the adult video store called Happy Endings; Tiffany, Heather and Seth. They’re young, they’re horny and they work in a sex shop where the customers provide endless amusement. Tiffany struggles with casual sex but Heather and Seth are on for anything, and often with each other. It is very adult, with lots of swearing and offensive words, so if you are easily offended don’t read it. But it was a bit of fun.
I like the book's comedic nature and timing. However, some plot points (ie Seth's awkward situation) are dragged out too long. Additionally, the high school-esque bickering between the female characters is cliched and lacks originality.
