Interesting
Some great books. Loved the first one. Man Lucy is a crazy 18 year old but from what happened I see why she did it. Also has some sexy characters in both reads. Love me so sexyness.

A very good story to get lost in.
As I read this book, I felt that I was there. I hated to put it down. I liked not having all the bloody gore in detail. Just the romance.

Not much stood out. Can't
These 2 stories are unrelated.
1st story is 1st installment of a series. The 2nd installment for that series is available, but it leaves you with a cliffhanger and NO ENDING! There is NO 3rd installment to give an ending. 👎
2nd story in this box set is a stand alone novel.
I already reviewed the 1st story of this box set after reading the second in that series.
I came back to read the second story in the box set. Make sense?
To confused you further, the first story in this boxed set was previously released as Last Rites by Mercy Walker.
Can't put my finger on it, but there was definitely something lacking in this little story. It starts off steamy, then begins to fizzle. There are unanswered issues concerning the main characters reading each other's minds.?????
Toward the end, I actually skimmed through pages till I reached the big finish. Best part of story. If you have nothing else to read, this is an option. First story in boxed set didn't thrill me either. Perhaps I am not a fan of the Author. I know a lot of work and hours go into writing. I don't want to disrespect the process. I don't like to slam an Author. I am sure she has fans and people whom enjoy her stories. I'm just not on that list. I'm probably a bit jaded due to her books being newly edited and re-released under different titles and author names.

Pros - There are two books in this set. They are both well written and very interesting. I really enjoyed both stories. Even though I have few Cons to this set, I can honestly say, I really did enjoy the books.
Cons - I was under the assumtion that there was one story with 2 books involved, like the whole or 1-3 books in a series.
Cons - The first book by Alice Bello was a good story but it's rated as an Adult Paranormal Romance. All the romance in this book was rated PG. It was a fun read, but not very racy. The second book, Min's Vampire was a good spicy read and I really did enjoy it.
Cons - Now I have to go and find the next book in the Lucy Hart, Deathdealer series. Wah Wah Wah. LOL
