The Prizes We Win

Rate this book
They’re not just billionaire businessmen. They’re The Horsemen. They’ve made enemies of their own. Enemies that are now her enemies. And after all of this time, after everything she’s already been through, it turns out her ghosts aren’t really ghosts at all.
The life Josephine Jenkins once thought she was building for herself is now long gone, and in its place is a life full of the unknown. And yet, it just might be the life she was meant to live all along.
Only one question remains.
Is she willing to risk it all to win the ultimate prize?
A life with the men she loves.

***The Prizes We Win is part TWO of a duet. It's a why-choose/polyamorous romance intended for mature readers only. The FMC doesn't choose between love interests. Be sure to check the content/trigger warnings in the front of the book before proceeding.

Thank you @srclark for the ARC opportunity! This is book two in this duet and as usual it did not disappoint! I love Joe and her guys! There is spice and banter. I laughed she’s a tear and sat on the edge of my seat! Joe is a strong independent young woman with sass and beauty! Dante Luca Seb and Enzo are a protective possessive tattooed groups of abs and muscle! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ ❤️

I think I need to take a deep breath before writing this review.
The cliff hanger from book 1? Cruel.
This duet? Perfection.

The character development and the relationship development between EVERY single character was just chefs kiss.
I think in reverse harem settings, some of the characters individual relationships sometimes don’t get touched on, but this author perrrfectly balanced out each and every one.
Jo has such a beautiful bond with each of the guys, but each guy also has such beautiful bond with each other.

The pacing was well done, I didn’t get bored at all. And the spice spiced 🌶️ 🥵

While the actual plot was amazing (not utterly life changing but great!!), the characters were so well written that they could have lazed around in their house all day and I would have been hooked.

I also loved how well intertwined the McDermott fam was in this duet. I love them 🫶🏼

If you love a why choose/reverse harem trope where the boys already love each other, then this one’s for you!
MMMMF, billionaire, found family, work place.

This was one of my top reads for the year so far 🖤

The perfect duet!

I missed my babies so much!! I was so excited for this ARC after the way book 1 ended and it did not disappoint. Joe was already a badass but her strength grew so much in this book, it was great seeing her shine. DANTE!! My heart was crying for him, I was just so proud of him. I was dying for him and Enzo to finally get together, and when they shared all their feelings I just wanted to sob. My guy Enzo was struggling okay😭 He just needs a month vacation with the loves of his life because he was going through it. Despite that, he was still the same comical Enzo that I adore. Luca and Seb were as cute as ever. I love their relationship and the relationship they each have with Joe. The found family in this series was already on point in book 1 but with all relationship dynamics being solidified in this book just made it even better! I also loved seeing my favs from the previous series 🥰 Harper and Joe were bound to be besties.

4.25 stars! After the ending of that first book, I could not wait to get my hands on the other half of this duet! We know I love Joe and all of her men, I'm a sucker for a RH/why choose and the spice between these is off the charts! But the plot of the book is very fast paced and I devoured this book so quickly! It was the perfect mix of everything I love in a book!

This releases on April 16th and this perfect for a quick and spicy read! But make sure you've read the first book beforehand! Thank you so much to S.R. Clark for the ARC of this book!!

Well what can I say, I was waiting for second part sooo bad, and it was worth it!
It might be shorter than the first( which I didn’t like btw 🤣) but nonetheless good. When they took Enzo my heart stopped!!! Omg I would be completely heartbroken if he would die there :(((((
Gave this part only 4 stars cause I really was looking forward to some more bonding between Dante and Lorenzo and kind of feel like it was just skipped.

Wondering if we might get book anytime soon about Anya and Jasper with his boys?? Pretty pleeeeeese 🫠😍

Josephine and her boys 🔥 they give me the warm and fuzzies but are also HOT. I long a good cliff hanger and boy did Serria give us some. I love that she gives us Joe growing her relationship with each of the boys, but I really love how you see the MMCs grow their relationships with eachother as well. If Seirra wrote a book, I’d read it no matter what. Always 5 ⭐️

Thank you for letting me have an ARC. 🖤

This is book 2 of the Vittori Enterprises duet.

Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger and book 2 dove straight in. I could not put this down!

It had sooo much spice! But still had a good story and great banter.

This was a great finish to the duet!

Also recommend reading the McDermott Empire duet first (Dangerously Kept, and Dangerously Safe) if you want to avoid spoilers for that series.

Well there was action, suspense, fear, love & more in this book. I love that even though there’s a lot of spice it doesn’t take over the book like there’s an actual plot with twists with pain, revenge, excitement, there was an actual story to be told!
I love all the characters even Clara :) I’ll definitely be reading more of SR Clark’s books

Thank you @author.s.r.clark for an early read of The Prizes We Win. This is Book 2 of the Vittori Enterprises. Joe and Seb have been taken. By the time Enzo, Luca, and Dante make it to the car… their nightmares have come true.. it is empty. Who took them? Are they ok? It is a good thing Seb is always one step ahead…. A rescue mission… a fight to find answers… Why can’t the past leave Joe in peace? Perhaps in the end… it will. Can she find the answers to the secrets? Will she open those letters that have been left forgotten? Will her brother be safe? Can the four men that have fallen in love with her save her and keep her safe? All these questions will be answered. And for those that enjoy your spicy scenes… you are in for a treat. Book overview

OBSESSED. Absolutely OBSESSED😍

It felt like my world ended at the end of book one.
(Dramatic? Absolutely. But absolutely true.)

I literally cried for days and didn’t know how I was going to survive the wait for book 2. 😩

Alas, here we are and I was NOT disappointed 😭😭

I adore these characters, they are each so perfectly unique and the bond and chemistry between each is freaking beautiful 🥹

I loveeee Joe and how unbelievably strong and fiery she is, I love the way the guys had a mind to that and even though they still were protective, they let her do her thing. (Even if let’s face it, our guys struggled cause all they wanted was to keep her safe)

My man Enzo 😭♥️
I love that man. And Dante!!!! Omg again, OBSESSED.

Seb and Luca are everything 🩷

The dynamics between each of the relationships was soooo perfectly and beautifully written, I was soooooo in love.

I can’t wait to reread and just continue loving these characters😭🩷🥹

3.25⭐️ a predictable wrap up to the story. Yes, they all got it on at the end of the big love fest blah, blah, blah. I was hoping for more of a conclusion to their story. There wasn’t even an epilogue. Kinda disappointed because book 1 was fire. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They all can’t be winners.

The way I’ve been holding my breath since I finished the first book in this duet is insane!! Sr Clark really knows how to keep you hooked !

This found family is so beautiful and as they grew closer and stronger they truly thrived.

Was it easy?! Absolutely not. You can’t be a mercenary without making enemies along the way and trouble seemed to be everywhere!

Joe and her men were unstoppable together and I loved the closure to their duet.

Make sure you read the McDermott Empire duet first (Dangerously Kept, then Dangerously Safe) or it will be spoiled by the Vittori Enterprises duet.

I absolutely loved the McDermott Empire duet, and couldn’t wait to get into the Vittori Enterprises duet. I love that both duets are interconnected and the characters from ME are so prevalent in VE.
This duet was so hot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥There was so much spice, great banter, the dialogue is great, the action is great. The men are delicious, and Josephine is a bada$$!! It had me HOOKED!!! I read this book in 5 hours because I could not put it down!
S.R. Clark has cemented herself at the top of my favorites authors list, and I can’t wait to read everything she writes!
