Yet when her father threatens the team, she needs help. The kind only a football legacy can provide. Will my family's involvement drive us further apart or will we finally have a chance at the future I want? It’s fourth and goal and everything is on the line, including my heart.

Amazing start to a series.

Andi was left in charge of operations of a football team, but her father that she does not get along with is the new owner and has his hand in things for spite.

Caleb is ready to lead the team, with his family's history there is a lot riding on his shoulders.

Expectations, determinations and desire this story pulls you in and keeps you turning the pages.

When Andi found out that she was part owner of the Storming Cobra Football team, she was so excited. One thing she wasn't happy about was her dad being the other owner and what he had planned.

She will do everything to save the Storming Cobras and the hot football player she is now in love with.

Caleb thinks he has found the one only to find out that she's the new part owner. Can he get her to realize they are meant to be together and no one will really care that they are together?

Great short read.

This was a wonderful sports romance, and I loved that there was such a strong female leas position (owner of an NFL team). Russ addressed the bias against women in sports in a clear manner, showing that it coukd impact not simply their professional lives, but the entirety of their being. Additionally, family legacy isn't necessarily all its cracked up to be. The expectations placed upon, and expected favoritism others believed received by Heath was stressful to him as well. It was clear he was passionate about his sport, but he refused to let it be his entire world. The scrutiny he was forced to endure simply because of his name seemed unfair, as was his assigned label. Andi initially seemed to have things really figured out. As the story unfolded though, it was clear that she was so focused professionally that she'd become rather one-dimentional. It was nice by the end to see her broadening her horizons a bit.

Fearful of what people will think, Andi is constantly cautious and judging herseld. As for Heath, breajing through to her is a complete challenge, and he never backs down from a challenge. These two are a challenge from the get-go. Grab a copy, kick back, and enjoy their journey. Their banter and interactions are always intense on some level, and you can't help but cheer them on.

Touchdown!
Caleb is a football player. He's leaving after the first day of training camp when he sees a beautiful woman leaning against a car in the parking lot. He's immediately interested. He asks her out, but all she does is shoot him down. Good thing he knows a thing or two about persistence.
Andi just inherited the Storming Cobras football team. She's learning the ins and outs of running the team, but she knows her players, and that's exactly what Caleb is - a player. In more ways than one. He swears the reputation isn't true, but it would still be a bad idea to get involved with him. No matter how charming he is.
This was a fun little instalove story, with a football theme. Add in some crazy friends, family drama, and one football player who is playing the hardest game of his life, and it was an easy read that definitely goes all the way!!
This was just the first of the series, so I'm looking forward to more!

HEATH: Storming Cobras Football, He Falls First Romance is the first book in the Storming Cobras Football Club series. HEATH is the story of Andi and Caleb, and I found their story to be both charming and a definite page-turner. HEATH is an ease to read, entertaining/enjoyable, romantic/steamy, has wonderful characters and a happily ever after for Andi and Caleb. I found Andi and Caleb to be both interesting and intriguing at the same time. Author T L Russ does a fantastic job telling Andi and Caleb's story, she is quite amazing at storytelling and her writing skills is quite fascinating. I couldn't even set this book down because the story was so captivating that I want to continue reading the book to find out what was going to happen between Andi and Caleb. I would most definitely suggest this amazing book to anyone and hope they would read it and fall in love with it just like I did. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next from this phenomenal author.

Heath steps up …. Has he put his foot in it? He loves being a Storming Cobra , you might say he was born to it . The son of a former player , he lives and breathes the sport. When he finds out who his new owner is , he wants to be owned on and off the field . Because she has treasures he’s after yielding and though she doesn’t want him revealing. She certainly succumbs to his heady kisses . With her father threatening the team , does Heath get her the team onside? Lovely sports romance with a little angst. Real cute too.

I like Andi because she is smart and determined and wants to keep her grandfather's football team in the family. I like Caleb because he is sweet and real and goes after what he wants. He is respectful and playful and fun a d cares about his family and teammates and friends. There are a few places where the words or flow of words is a bit off to me but not enough to effect my enjoyment of the story. 3.5 stars.

Loved this series dealing with football and a strong woman who has the smarts and drive to make her way into the tough league of football. Enjoyed the connection with Caleb and Andi, as these two take it slow and easy. The respect shown was aboveboard and so glad Caleb could understand her point of view. Liked how this all worked out and looking forward to the next book in series.

I enjoyed reading this short and cute book. Andi and Heath's romance journey pulls you in and keeps you there. They are a perfect match and their chemistry is great. I liked the characters so much that I was cheering them on to their HEA. I would recommend reading this book. Very enjoyable.
