Despite this novel being a sequel, I would have hoped to see some sort of character development for Anderson. To me, her entire character consists of the facts that she did some psi-judge training, is ‘high ranking’, and is super hot. It’s a shame that her character was not more complex, as I would have enjoyed seeing the same attention to detail regarding her personality and backstory as was shown to the world building that was used in this story.

While I enjoyed Anderson's second outing in Mega city one, this didn't quite match up to the 1st novel in the series. I just wanted her do more and she seemed more swept along by events instead of influencing them and in fact the main reason the villian was caught was he came after her instead of being tracked down. It kind of made sense but didn't match her struggle with the Angel in the 1st book. Picking up the next one hoping for a bit more of an in depth story.

The second Judge Anderson novel from Mitchel Scanlon is another solid, entertaining read. I am predisposed to liking it anyway as I love the Judge Anderson comics and it is recommended to others who like the world of Judge Dredd.
