The world is ending. The heroes lie dead, and a villain, a mage and a knight are all who stand in the way of total destruction.
Zara the Fury – who laughs as the world burns. Lazander – a knight who breaks before the god he serves. Eternity – a mage who counts the bodies and wonders… is it worth it? And our hero – the girl with the forgotten name. The fate of the world rests in their hands. But as the final battle draws close and they lie scattered across the world, can they come together and save it… or will they be the ones to end it?

I don't know how I'm supposed to go back to my day after finishing this. What a stunning conclusion to a fantastic trilogy. Andrea was amazing, as usual, and the character moments were as beautiful as they were devastating. Endings are a difficult thing, but this one is extraordinarily well done.
I absolutely loved this trilogy! Zara and the protagonist were probably my favorite characters, but I connected emotionally to a bunch of the other characters too. The multi perspective aspect worked quite well throughout the series and there weren't really any povs that I didn't enjoy (just moments where I really really wanted to move back to other characters to see how certain scenes resolved). The world-building was also really creative (which is probably to be expected from someone who was a writer for Baldur's Gate 3) and I was disappointed to say goodbye to it as much as the characters when the book ended. I did notice a few more little errors in this installment than I did in the previous two, which was a little annoying but didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. The main thing I was a little bit with here was the ending (mostly mostly because I wanted a bit more explanation for certain things and craved a bit resolution between some character relationships) but it was still a solid trilogy.
Besides the fact that the story is now complete, which is a rarity in itself when it comes this genre, this book does a really good job of closing out the series, in not only a satisfactory way, but leaving us with enough to keep thinking about it after the back cover is closed.
Rachel does an awesome job of continuing the development of the characters that have been building up through the first 2 books, and you can see her guidance and craft through the story.
I wonder what else is coming from the author, cause I'll be definitely want to read it.
For all that this is a trilogy the events that have taken place in 3 books is quite surprising, and if this one manages to fit in enough surprises to exceed the first two then isn't that a bonus. An excellent universe and a tale everyone can get behind with ease. Hopefully, we'll see a lot more from the author as this offering was world-class.
I was very interested in where the story was going in the last book, and while I wish there was more time spent on the mechanics of the universe, I find myself mostly satisfied. Eternity's chapter's could have been cut down, but otherwise, the flow was good. If you liked the first two, you will like this.
The theme of today’s review is taken from the book, “Deal with the problem at hand, not the one in your head.”
There were a lot of problems in front of the characters, and some tears in my eyes as the book and series came to its conclusion. Who is a friend? Who is an enemy? Where does each character belong?
The characters, the alternative point of views, the unseen twists and turns, all of it make this series a must read. The author does an amazing job of making you care for each character, and gives excellent insight into the villains prerogative. This trilogy is perfect for those who love action, fantasy, and dramatics.
A wonderful wrap up for characters that have all grown so much across 3 books. If you are one for heroes fighting the good fight, magic, and trying to save the world I highly recommend reading all three books. Wonderful world to get lost in!
This series is truly exceptional, with exceptional writing that brings the characters to life. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Seriously read this series.
I’ve rarely been so invested in a trilogy. The final book of Knights of Eternity pulled everything together with a perfect mix of tension, depth, and emotion. I connected deeply with the characters, each of their flaws made their choices feel so real.
The worldbuilding kept surprising me with its creativity, and this series left a lasting impression on me. I’m already missing it. I highly recommend the whole series.
