The permanent crew have other ideas for the trip, that does not include the youngsters. They intend to use the ship as a means to be at a certain latitude and longitude on a certain day at a certain time. Very close to the location and abandoning Magic with the youngsters still aboard, the permanent crew head for the rendezvous, but never arrive there, eventually to be picked up by the coast guard.
However, Magic is missing. Even after an extensive search, she is never found, finally for the authorities to declare that the ship's lost, along with fifteen youngsters.

Why did this ship go down in calm waters? Why can they find no wreckage? Why did the permanent crew abandon Magic?

A researcher reading old documents on the Bermudan islands, believes she has found the answer. Except to prove her theory, her research will soon take her thousands of miles away from where Magic is believed to have gone down, with revelation's set to shock the world.

Tall Ship Magic is a mystery story that follows Magic, with her young crew, not only across the world, but time itself.

Balogna

Triangle and time travel is one thing, but vanishing documents and killing people is another.
Every sailor knows ships bells mark the four hour watches and can never exceed eight bells. The mention of twelve bells totally ruined this story. And how did Crystal get the 450,000 euros at age 19 when her money was frozen in trust until she reached 21?
Bologna. I gave story three stars just because I like sailing ships. Over rated if anything.

** I received a free copy of this book from Goodreads First Reads.

Fifteen teenagers are abandoned on a sailing ship and must work together to crew the vessel and journey home. Mysterious forces are controlling the ship and their safe return in "Tall Ship Magic." This book was a fast read and would appeal to young adult as well as older readers. The plot was well written and characters interesting. My only complaint--it could benefit from some good proofreading. In addition to grammatical and typing errors, a number of times the American characters were using British slang and vocabulary.
