What a way to close out an absolutely stellar series! When the finale of the last book left all the main characters hanging in limbo, I was on the edge of my seat, desperate to know what would happen next—and I was not disappointed. Without giving away any spoilers, let's just say: buckle up, because you're in for one hell of a ride. Despair looms large as we rejoin our heroes, each facing battles that push them to their limits. Hellena’s harrowing time with Marco, who’s dead set on “convincing” her to fall in line, is nothing short of brutal. But a secret visit from Tell shakes things up, pushing Hellena to take matters into her own hands in a totally unexpected way. Meanwhile, the whole gang is back in action, with Ora and Alaya stepping up to rally the survivors of Sanctum Harbor after the floodwaters recede. If Ora’s fierce, sassy spirit had me hooked in the previous books, Alaya completely stole the show this time. She’s effortlessly cool, a total badass, and just impossible not to love. Gavin and Tell are in the mix, but where’s Evan? And as if the chaos wasn't enough, a dangerous new drug called Devo is wreaking havoc, turning half the town’s population into deranged maniacs. From start to finish, it’s non-stop action with barely a second to catch your breath. With all the storylines coming together, this final installment is by far the most fast-paced of the trilogy. But for me, the heart of the book—and what made it truly unforgettable—is the underlying story of Hellena and her three guys. Nothing made me happier than seeing these four finally reunited. There’s still a long road ahead for them and for Sanctum Harbor, but it promises to be one wickedly sinful journey!
