Going Long #1

Going Long

Having grown up with an emotionally distant football coach for a father, the last thing Alyssa Stanton wants is to fall in love with a guy that's just like that. But when she meets a hunky and sensitive football player at college, she finds that she can't resist his charms and gives in to a temptation that will change her life forever.

It was a quick read. There were some grammar mistakes. I wasn't a fan of the third person point of view and the story wasn't all that great. I think it could've been much better if the story had been longer and better developed.

This felt really rushed. There was a love triangle that just kind of went nowhere. She started a friendship with Robert that just kind of went away with no closure after she saw him kissing another girl. Then she takes Eric up in a date which kind of felt like she was choosing him out of lack of options and then all the sudden she was in love with Eric. Her friendship with Jennifer was really rushed and you have no background on that. No detail and jumps months in the future and you can't really tell what POV thus has been written in. There were many mistakes, typos and missed words. Then the weird visit home that had no outcome of potential makeup with her father. This was a good premise that really missed with a incomplete story for me.

Great storyline

the storyline was well thought out, I applaude for that! sometimes the chapters seemed a bit everywhere and the focus was lost at times but in general it was a nice easy fun read!

Not a fan of teen-aged angst or sex. I got through maybe ten pages before I gave up.
