This is my favorite book so far from K.A. Young. Her characters are all so different and I just love that about the author. No one is ever similar.

I could not put this book down. You saw a different side to Nyoka that was totally redeeming!

Atonement!

Nyoka, Eli’s twin brother is on the run & trying to find a way to atone for his past mistakes.

& on the way he meets his mate (whose name I can’t remember because all Nyoka calls her is Beauty) who is trying to test a theory as she’s a scientist.

He takes her on the run with him after some of the Covert Ops men come looking for him at her house. After they mate/bond they do have some ups & downs along the way.

This book was very good in the plot & has some sex scenes.

It was great to read things from Nyoka’s point of view and too much was left out. I also felt that the ending was kind of rushed with all the angst between the two brothers over their lifetimes dissipating almost overnight. That being said, I enjoyed this book more than the previous book.

Just when Nyoka has given up on life, he meets his mate in unusual circumstances and she is also not what he expected. Miranda for her part is a somewhat shy, naïve, workaholic scientist who has a theory about being able to return the Yetzer Hara back into Nephilim. They meet when Nyoka falls into one of her traps and she nurses him back to health without knowing who he is. It’s not until a team of covert Nephilim warriors come looking for him that she realises who her ‘guest’ is. Because of the price on his head, and to keep the warriors from suspecting Miranda of harbouring a criminal, they go on the run with Nyoka taking Miranda prisoner (at least to the belief of the outside world) and both of them fleeing to one of his secret compounds. Once there, he re-groups his warriors and plans to do battle with Eli’s warriors (I think). Those plans change, however, when he discovers the alliance between the Vampires and the Nephilim that has been forged between Eli and Torch. He also learns that Anna is pregnant further forcing the change in his plans. Whilst in vampire territory and before Nyoka can gate-crash the Vampire Castle, Miranda is badly injured. Once at the Vampire Castle, Nyoka is thrown into the castle dungeon to atone for his crimes and Miranda is nursed back to health by Anna and Julie.

It has the usual twists and turns and as I said, the ending seemed rushed. It’s not altogether clear what position Nyoka holds within the Nephilim kingdom but Miranda does get her state of the art research facility. I’ve enjoyed this series so much that I will be reading about Elise’s story ‘Coven’ in the follow on series.

I'm still terribly disappointed in what I thought was a worthwhile series. I enjoyed having a better story for Nyoka, he's still my favorite of what I call 'the brothers dim duo' and found Miranda to be a super addition. I still feel like I was cheated out of my money though.

My main problem came after reading how the author thanks her editors. Yes, I read all the forwards and praises in every book and always look forward to how the people involved helped shape the outcome. That said, I have never read a story with so many 'due to the fact that', 'due to', 'the fact that', OMG I lost count. The use of the word 'passed' when it should have been 'past' caused an additional grimace. The word literally was used too many times explaining the same thing, literally. Yes, the compound was literally carved into a mountain. We didn't need to add how she was literally inside the mountain once inside.

To have a main character with a supposed IQ of over 190, I didn't find her to be very intelligently written. I realize as a reclusive scientist she may have social issues, but think she'd still speak much more succinctly and concisely. Didn't find having Alex turn out to be a bad guy needed either. Think it would have been a lot more fun to have him totally intrigued and hop on the research train, perhaps having Mallory tease him into being more fun. And that every one could tease him as he's that guy that won't eat p- would have been funny. The action and fighting were well done, as is the case with these books and keeps me reading. It wasn't until around page 200 that I finally started to enjoy it more, and since it had a pretty decent happy ending, I give it 3 stars.

I just finished this as beta for the UBER-talented K.A. Young. Loved it as usual. the way she integrates her books is so smooth it takes you a while to actually realize that the things she is talking about are actually happening NOW - in this book - but you read them in that other person's book. Her series is like IAD in that way - each character has their own story and it is personal and involving and absorbing and delightful and sometimes heartbreaking and always KICK-ASS! Each character is also intertwined with another - sister to one or brother to another or best friend or somehow, some way they all come together to create the perfect story for this character at that time.

Then the focus moves to another character and you get a whole different story and see a side of a character you had not seen or fully realized before. The layers and complexities are enormous and confusing and absolutely essential in making this series - the four Warrior books - along with the Coven spinoffs so alluring and intense and memorable.

Even now, having just finished book 4, I want to go back to the first and reread the series to relive the moments again - the joys and sorrows - that brought me to where I am.

Anxiously awaiting the second Coven book!

Warrior Redeemed tells Nyoka's story, Eli's twin brother. Anna choose Eli over Nyoka and he seemed to have disappeared off the face of the planet for the third book, except right at the very end.

this book is written from Miranda's point of view, but it would have been nice to here from Nyoka himself. it also overlaps with book 3.

Miranda is doing research, right on the edge of the protected lands, n how to deal with the creatures who killed Anna's first husband. (cant remember what they are called!) she lays traps, and in one such trap she catches Nyoka. after freeing him, she takes him home to tend his wounds and plans to let him leave when he is well again. however, the Warriors come for Nyoka and Mir finally realises who he is! Nyoka is wanted for crimes against the King and Queen, and has gone rogue. Mir aint so sure.

there follows a chase across the country, from safe house to safe house, til Nyoka and Mir break into the old vampire King's palace, to see Eli and Anna. he needs to atone.

again, a much better book than one and two, but not quite as violent and sexy as book 3. a good read, and I would recommend them.

This series just keeps getting better.
Really loved Nyoka!

This isn't a stand-alone. You will need to read the previous books in this series to understand e3verything that has taken place up until now.

Nyoka has been on the run, the run from his king, who is also his brother. Nyoka is a real bad boy, but he also has a big heart and lots of regrets. He's wounded and trapped in one of Miranda's traps that she has setup to help her with her research.
Miranda helps heal him and soon they figure out that they are mates, which sets another set of events into motion.
Nyoka wants to just get to his brother, without being killed, so he can make a mends and get on with life. But now he needs to also consider his mate.
There isn't much more I can say without away spoilers or telling you about the whole book. You will just need to pick it up and check it out for yourself. This book was awesome, and I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

*a copy of this book was provided to me for an honest review.

I Received this book thru the Author for an honest review. I Love this K.A. Young she Rocks! Ok so Anna choose Eli over his twin brother Nyoka and in book 3 Nyoka has gone rogue. So this book is the story of Miranda & Nyoka. Ok so as always this book flows and has action, spicy parts & heart. I couldn't put it down. So Miranda lives right on the edge of the protected lands with her Shih Tzu dog named cookie. She is researching on the creatures called the Yetzer hara. Who killed Anna's first husband. Thru out this book it goes back in forth with Miranda & Nyoka's pasts and they are trying to move forward because they know deep down the truth is they love each other but will they be able to accept the others past to do that? You will have to read to find out and you wont regret it. If you have read this series you have to read book 4 you will love it! Thanks again for letting me read and review your awesome book :)

I Liked this series so much I read it in less than 4 days!!!

If you are looking for a Paranormal Romance series that is pretty damn good and makes you want to stay awake until the end of the series. Well, this is the series for you! I know it was for me! There are twisty plots and some drama in this series but it flows well. Somethings you will not even expect. I recommend reading the whole series not just one of the books and that is why I am doing this review for the series as a whole instead of for each individual book!

I loved this! Nyoka is my favorite character so I was thrilled to find out that he was the star of this book! He has been my fav since the beginning. I always thought he got a raw deal, so it was nice to see his life turn around :) I also really like Miranda and think she is a great addition to the Nephilim Warrior world. The story was steamy, romantic, and I loved every second of it!! I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here!

I have had the pleasure of following this series from the very beginning. Before starting this book I went back and read them all cover to cover and let me tell you what a ride!! Wildly misunderstood; I really felt for Nyoka. He's has a rough go at it from the very beginning. So I'm happy to see that he was able to overcome all his hurdles. I'm happy he found his mate along the way, Miranda couldn't have been more perfect. Keep on writing Ms. Young. You have found a fan til the end.

The best one of the series. The redeemed brother Nyoka character was brought into full perspective. Although some ratchet tendencies were brought to light of him in the previous books; this one reveled Nyoka's truth and hurt he concealed. Oh but when he encounters the one who humbles him his wiles as we seen are humbled.

In book #4 of The Nephilim Warrior series we get to know Nyoka better. I loved this story just as much as the first three in the series, if not more. Nyoka is rescued by a courageous young woman when he is feeling hopeless and beyond redemption. Once again I was drawn into this story and loved every moment of it. This books leaves you wanting more.

I have loved Nyoka from the very first book, and finally we see him with the opportunity of feeling worthy again and also falling in love with a woman that he can actually have. It was a thoroughly emotional read, and was well worth the wait for this book to be released :D

This book was another great installment in The Nephilim Warrior Series. You find out more about Nyoka and whats really going on with him. He truly is a bad boy that you love. Nyoka finds himself in this book, with little help. This book made me want to re-read the series.
