Welcome to Sin City! Home to the newest Daddy/ little collection from author Athena Steller.
Eric Smith is getting used to changes in his life and figuring things out as he goes. In a new undercover assignment Eric comes across a young man that calls to his very soul. Having done research into a Daddy and boy lifestyle has in no way prepared him for the feelings that Ezra Lee stirs up in him. Trying to find the source of the drug operation inside the casino, flirting with the cute barista, and taking care of his brother is keeping Eric busy. It’s a good thing that he has friends by his side ready to go to war with him.
Ezra Lee gave up everything when he became a single father three years ago. Nothing is more important than his sweet little angel, not even his desire to be little, or finding a Daddy to call his own. The new security officer at the casino has Ezra wishing things were different though. Ezra has found a home with Lambert Entertainment and at the coffee shop located inside the casino. He has real friends, is making decent money, and can give his daughter everything she needs. So why does Ezra have the strongest desire to also give Eric Smith his heart?
This book contains MM sexual content (men having sex with each other), Age Play, Daddy/little relationship, ABDL, and age gap relations. This book is an exploration of a relationship between two (male) consensual adults that are looking for love and acceptance. All characters are over the age of consent. No cheating or cliffhangers.
Loved this one, i just wish it was longer. I also wish we could have seen more of Ezra’s little side. A few times I get confused between Ezra and Eric because their names are so similar.
Hm. Well. That was disappointing. Athena Steller is so hit or miss, and this was very much a miss. I felt basically no chemistry between the characters, the dialogue was super awkward, and there was essentially zero age play or daddy kink at all. Sooooo what are we even doing here? This was the weirdest mix of a slow burn and instalove with just all the worst parts of both. Also, I don’t think either of the characters’ appearances were ever actually described? I simply do not have any idea what these men look like. So that makes getting into the story just a lil difficult. I just want to read my fluffy little age play instalove stories and forget the world is a dumpster fire. Is that too much to ask? I’m clearly very grumpy about this. Am I still going to read the next book? Probably. Again, Athena Steller is very hit or miss, and for some reason I have faith. Maybe I just need a nap and then everything will seem better.
Suspense mixed with cuteness and personal healing are a perfect mix in this one. If you like a little edge to your D/l books, then you'll love this one.
I am so happy to be getting another Little series from Steller. They are always so fun and the characters are great. Eric and Ezra were perfectly matched.

This was a sweet story with some drama mixed into it. I loved Eric and how well he cared for his brother which prepared him for how he cared for Ezra and his angel. The drug dealing case involved the leader who was determined to have Ezra so it was great that Eric was well placed to protect him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

At the heart of the story is Eric Smith, an undercover security officer working on a high-stakes assignment inside a casino. Eric is a man at a crossroads, adjusting to a variety of life changes, and his undercover investigation adds an intriguing layer of tension to the plot. His professional world of danger and secrecy collides with a more intimate and emotionally complex world when he meets Ezra Lee. Ezra, a young man with a strong sense of responsibility as a single father, stirs feelings in Eric that he was not prepared for, especially given his previous research into the Daddy/little lifestyle. Eric’s internal struggle between his duty and his growing emotional attachment to Ezra adds a layer of depth to the story, making his character both relatable and intriguing.
Ezras character is equally compelling. As a single father, he has made great personal sacrifices, placing his daughter’s well-being above all else. Yet, beneath his dedication to his child, Ezra has longed for a connection with a Daddy—a role that Eric, unknowingly, seems to fulfill. Ezra’s internal conflict is palpable as he navigates his desire to embrace his little side while balancing his responsibilities. His relationship with Eric is tender and tentative, and readers will find themselves rooting for these two to overcome their fears and misconceptions in order to find happiness together.
One of the standout elements of Sin City Daddy is how Steller handles the Daddy/little dynamic. This dynamic is often misrepresented or sensationalized, but here, it is presented with care, sensitivity, and respect. The relationship between Eric and Ezra is built on mutual trust, care, and consent, which forms the foundation of their connection. Their evolving dynamic is sweet, sensual, and emotionally satisfying, with moments of vulnerability that make their bond all the more meaningful.
The setting of Sin City itself—filled with bright lights, hidden secrets, and a sense of danger—fits perfectly with the internal turmoil of the characters. The atmosphere of the casino and the surrounding area helps to elevate the stakes in both Eric's professional and personal life, creating a sense of urgency and excitement.
However, it’s important to note that Doubling Down may not be for every reader. The book delves into themes of age-play and the Daddy/little lifestyle, which are central to the romance. These elements are treated with sensitivity, but they may not appeal to those who are not familiar with or comfortable with these themes. That being said, for readers who enjoy MM romance with a focus on unconventional dynamics, Doubling Down offers an engaging and heartfelt experience.
In conclusion, Athena Steller has crafted a story that is both sensual and thoughtful, with well-rounded characters and a plot that keeps readers invested from beginning to end.
This book had it's moments but didn't blow me away. I liked the story and appreciated the romance throughout - it was fun to follow and easy to get through.
There were parts that felt a bit light and didn’t resonate as strongly as I’d hoped. Some scenes didn’t quite deepen the connection between the characters for me, and I found myself wanting a bit more substance or development in a few areas.
It’s a solid, decent book that I’m glad I read, but it didn’t leave a lasting impact. Fans of lighter romance with a gentle pace might enjoy it more than I did.
This book was a very exciting book to read. There were littles, a newly found daddy, and drama. Erza had a cute little girl that he was raising and suppressing his little side. He had a hard time hiding it from his friends, but when Eric found him sick and weak, he took him back to his house. That was the beginning of their relationship, and he started to show all his sides with the help of Eric's brother. I can't wait to read his story.
I usually enjoy Athena Stellar’s books way more then I did this one. Not that I didn’t like Eric or Ezra but this book left me wanting for more of the Daddy/boy we usually get from this author. If it is meant to be a book to set up other characters or a second book that delves into Eric and Ezra then it’s bang on. But if this is all we get of Eric and Ezra’s story then it was a huge miss for me. I am looking forward to reading Brandon and Dane’s story though.
A new author for me. I liked the story. It was a very cute book perfect for the so sweet It makes your teeth hurt kind of mood. There were a couple of typos, usually having to do with names. Dane became Dan at 1 point, and Lake became Kale. I'm sure that that is an issue with the typing software. But if you can get past a couple of little glitches, it's a cute story. I can't wait to read the second one.
Athena Steller did it again with Doubling Down. This book is sweet, adorable, and addictive. It has just the right amount of intrigue to keep you reading. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. Single Daddies are one of my favorite tropes. And this book has been truly an awesome read. It has just the right amount of smut, just the right balance of sass, just the right amount of action. This read is totally worth it and deserves 5 stars ⭐️. 💜
I enjoyed Ezra and Eric’s story. I like the dynamic between the two MCs as well as between the littles (aka the little boy band of misfits). It was bittersweet to catch up with Brandon following the situation he faced in Creed, a book from an earlier series by the same author. Looking forward to reading his HEA in a future Las Vegas Littles story
These characters are really interesting and I look forward to more books in the series. The only problem I had with this was the awful editing. It was bad enough to pull me out of the story. Despite that I kept reading since I liked the characters so much. If you can tolerate bad editing, then this is a book you should read
Such a fantastic storyline yet again from Athena. If you haven't read previous books by her then I recommend it so you know the characters. Loved Eric and Ezra equally and though this was very low key daddy/ boy dynamic the relationship development between them was perfect. It was lovely to see Brandon on the road to recovery too! Can't wait for the next book.
I really liked Eric and Ezra and their story. The secondary characters were great, can’t wait for Lake and Brandon’s books. This is a great intro to a new series but read Athena’s previous series to get a full experience
Looking for a cute story to catch up with familiar faces from her other series? You won’t want to miss this book. It has a little bit of everything protective daddies and lovable partners. Also a glimpse into who we might see if the future.
I have been waiting for this series and it was soooo worth the wait. It is cute but still has a little hurt comfort. I can already see the future couples. It's good to continue this universe with people from past series!
I liked this new series. Eric is so supportive of his brother Brandon who is a little. Eric’s also learning he might be a daddy. When he meets sweet Ezra he knows. Brandon and Ezra playing together was adorable. Can you have too much glitter???
I really do love this author. It is so nice to see these guys getting their littles as well. The only thing I didn't love was the ending because I was more. I could have read a heap more about these guys.
This was okay. Felt like a novella/prequel almost. This author seriously needs an editor though! I notice this with every book. Simple spelling mistakes, incorrect names. It really drags me out of the story. I think I'm done with them for a while.
Thus is a good start to a new city and a new group of friends that become family. I love the building of the characters and how they relate and engage with each other. Look forward to the next book.
This is a great start to what I expect to be another wonderful series! Athena Stellar is a must read author for her fantastic daddy books. This one has just the right amount of spice along with a good story line. I cannot wait for Brandon's book.
An undercover cop falls for the barista at the casino where they both work. This was a great story that concentrated on plot more than relationship development. There were some typos as well. This was very light on daddy/little kink. Spice level: 1.5
