I am a slightly crazy girl and I often get tied up in things, and I know I don't see the world the way other people do. I've always been a keen observer of people and relationships, and I have seen some very interesting things, and done a few! I love to write out my fantasies, desires, and dreams, and I firmly believe that just because something is different or unusual doesn't make it bad; all that matters are love and respect. I hope you like them too, and maybe they open a window for you to see things a little bit differently too. Stay safe!
This was a impulse purchase. I was looking for vampires. Not 'nice' vampires I was looking for dark, sadistic vampires. You know, the proper kind. Well, I stumbled across Penelope on facebook and saw that she had a few paranormal series. I took a chance and bought two books from her and I ate this one up like it was chocolate!
Not only was this story so totally original, but it was a Vampire being a proper blood sucker. The build up in the plot ebbed and flowed so epic for such a short little package. See, I'm someone that rates the story, not the length of a book. If I am engaged, it is worthy to me! This was totally money well spent. The lead female was strong, independent, and knew what she wanted. The male was dark, mysterious, a bit broody, but once he opened up--holy cow did he become one heck of an Alpha that was so drool worthy I nearly fated reading this story!
This is definitely a series to pick up if you are into vampires that are actually bad, and female heroes that are literary worthy!
