This is my first book by this author and I loved it. I was not disappointed in it at all. I will definitely be grabbing more of her books.
I don't even know where to begin with this one, it took me by suprise, but in a good way. Xander grant what a man, he had me swooning and fanning myself throughout the book. The mouth on that guy, hot damn, like warn a bitch 🤣 London said it perfectly " that guy should come with a warning label" and I totally agree with her.
Xander is hot, rich and a playboy he can have anything and anyone he wants or desires. And he knows it too. When he meets London it was only suppose to be one wild and crazy night. But he wasn't expecting to fall for her and have her consume his every thought. She's his biggest distraction. And he won't stop until she's well and truly his!! But London has a broken past and isn't looking for love or relationships, specially not one with a guy like Xander. Will they be together?
I just loved their story, the push and pull, their chemistry, the banter and playfulness, their friends, it was everything I didn't know I needed. Once I started I couldn't stop. I was hooked from the start. The authors writing is brilliant, bringing her characters and story to live was just amazing.
I'm so glad mercyann summers recommend this book. And now I'm recommending it. You really need to read it !!

Xander's story is what I didn’t know I needed, and oh boy, he did surprise me in the best way possible. I'm already in love with this world and this friend group, reading this book felt like going home and meeting with my friends. Xander has always been the funny, cocky one, but did I expect him to have such a dirty mouth? No, not at all. But did he manage to mess with my head with his words? Absolutely! He's the type of guy who could talk a nun out of her panties with a boyish smile on his face. He not only knows how to talk to a woman but also how to love one. I honestly wish every woman could experience the Xander effect in real life. And before you ask, yes, he is my favorite!
London is like everyone's big sister. She has a heart of gold, but she needed to learn to let others in, not everyone is as horrible as her ex. She doesn’t have to fight or laugh alone, and it was great to see her let Xan lead her, hold her, or just be there for her. In all our lives, there comes a time when we have to make life-changing decisions, and experiencing that journey with her was such a beautiful experience.
And the spice? Oh wow, they really made me blush a few times.
I'd say this is a more character-driven than plot-heavy book, and I loved every second of it.

This book had the perfect amount of humor and banter and sprinkle in some angst with some oh so delicious SPICE, geezus!! I was invested from the beginning. Xander is a man on a mission and when that mission is making London his, he will do anything to make that happen. And with a broken past, she isn't looking for another relationship, especially with a playboy like Xander. But a little fun and some persuasion makes these two looking toward a different future. These characters are amazing. And the friend group is just so fun and outgoing, no wonder these two were always together. So glad I took a chance on this new author, and you should too!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that same DGAF attitude and humor shown in this book. I love the quirky similarities between Lala Montgomery and MercyAnn Summers. This book gave me all the feels.. there was moments where I literally laughed so hard I scared my cats. 🤣 But there’s also the moments where I swooned, and even moments when I had to take a break and cool off.. if you’re catching my drift. 🤤🥵 I love the tension and perfect push and pull between London and Xander, their chemistry is out of this world. I am truly glad I took the time to check out Lala and this book, I’m definitely gonna add this to my list of favorite books thus far in 2025!!

shades of green?!
Oh my gosh! What did I just read?! This book was FULL of heat and humor and banter and just enough angst and SO HOT. I seriously devoured it! Just when I thought we were getting to the end I’d look down and see I had so much more of their story to go. The characters are wonderful! Their development is spot on. Could not ask for another thing from this book! So glad I took a chance!

This is the first book by Lala Montgomery that I have read.
Having read this one I absolutely will be reading more!
I just loved every moment of the story between London & xander! My god the mouth on him and the spice 🌶️ just amazing!
I would definitely recommend this if you like a lighthearted spicy book!

Xander is B.D.E.
The way Xander immediately knows that London is his future and doesn’t give up is so amazingly sweet and so freaking sexy. And his mouth🔥🔥🔥🔥He made sure to show her how incredibly special she was to him and didn’t stop until she believed it. Definitely a new favorite book couple

Holy Spice !!!!!!!
The mouth on Xander. WOW!!! I love a he falls first and this is now one of my favorites. It has laugh out loud moments. swoony moments and all the spice a girl could ever want. Did I say his mouth? Good lawwwdddd. Shew!! I love the push and pull between London and Xander. The chemistry is off the charts and I absolutely enjoyed all the side characters. I will definitely be reading the first two in this series and any future books by LaLa!!!!

It's official!!!! This is the best and smuttiest book that I have read this year!! Xander and London.... Lord, the persistence and the mouth on this man. I loved him, and he is my number 1 book boyfriend for 2024. I don't want to give anything away, but just know you definitely need to read this book and be prepared to take a cold shower. Oh yeah, and she's my new favorite author.
