Gaius Richards is teenage boy born of two worlds who just wants to go to high school and live a normal life as he connects with his mortal roots. As the hero "Titan," an immortal from Mt. Olympus and the son of Gaia, he is also the strongest person to ever walk the face of the Earth. Christine is a smart, overly-serious girl who accidentally stumbles onto his secret, and through the wisdom of the gods finds that maybe it was not an accident that they were meant to find each other. As they fall in love, the two of them will together face the greatest adventure of their lives as Gaius, Earth's sworn protector, will face the greatest battle of his life as he attempts to stop a human killing machine long thought dead from wrecking havoc on his adopted home. Can an Olympian die, or will he be able to find the strength to not only save himself, but everyone he holds dear? From the author: I love super heroes. Comic books have been a large part of my life for three decades and I have fond memories of losing myself in those colorful pages for hours on end. When I set out to write this book I wanted to capture the essence of those wonderful books that I read when I was a kid and put it into novel form. Hopefully, I have succeeded.
What an amazing story! Jeff Fuell put the history of the Olympian Gods, a love story, action and a learning experience all rolled into one fabulous storyline. I loved the history of the Gods and especially in the beginning in the Prelude, that made my heart smile. This book is excellent for Middle School on up. The girls can relate to Christine and the boys can wish they were Titan. High school love story with a secret and Titan saving the day, with the Gods mixed in, equals an exciting book. Plenty of edge of your seat while holding your breath scenes. Good action with Titan and Achilles battling it out. Some surprises with the Gods and of course, two teens finding each other and falling in love. Their dates are awesome! There are lessons throughout the book and I feel this next generation could use them. Over all, I Loved the story! Another great book by Jeff Fuell! I look forward to the next!
Gaius Richards aka Titan is a demigod when lived his life on My. Olympus. Now trying live a normal life as he connects with his mortal roots. Christine is a smart, overly-serious girl who accidentally stumbles onto his secret, and through the wisdom of the gods finds that maybe it was not an accident that they were meant to find each other.
Titan is a combination of Greek Mythology and superman. There was a lot of action and some great humor. I think there supposed to be some romance in it but, I didn’t see it. Fuell did a great job with characters and story. It was well written and very descriptive. It is a great start to what will hopefully be a series.
*Note* This author apparently was not happy with my review and asked me to tweak it because it was a little on the negative side. I will not jeopardize my review chances from future authors nor my integrity. I stand by the review I wrote.
