This sewing book is good for a novice but I wonder about the durability of many of the projects: the Jazzed Jeans and the Button Change Purse, for starters. Some of the basic instructions were different from what I'd learned. (Iron a seam flat and then iron it open, is what I'd been told.) The bags and totes are cute but the skirts and belts seem a bit shapeless. Good and plentiful photography.
