Demon Strokes is for people who...
...enjoy well-endowed demons.
...don't mind kink.
...like when a character has her boundaries pushed...
...but enjoy it even more when she pushes back.
I really liked this book. That said, it almost reads like two different stories. The first part is all about Heather pushing her boundaries and learning how she enjoys the act of submission--even when it brings her pain. Mid-book, she has an emotional turn-around and the book almost becomes a parody with talk of extreme anal drilling, the construction of a jackhammer fuck machine, and how various folks are completely on board with Heather's quest to fuck the demon to death.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and it's definitely steamy. The demon is dominant, the heroine has to figure out how far she's willing to go, and the supporting players all get into the act with vigor. BUT... it reads with two distinct tones.
