Wo. I can't believe I read this whole book. Some of the essays were a bit too academic for me. I read it because I feel uncertain about what art theory means today and how that might apply to a modern artist such as myself. The essays define, redefine, challenge aesthetics - the modern and postmodern - along with current political issues. (Plus some stuff that I might have to reread because it shot over my head)

a good book for expanding your study of contemporary art
(this is not a history overview)
