This was really hot. I wasn’t a fan of the heroine. I didn’t like how immature the h acted especially when dealing with her parents. I wish we could have gotten the H’s pov. At least a few chapters.
I have no excuse for reading this one, y'all. I had an evening meeting with a lady named Mary Jane and was curious. Objectively, it was okay. I liked having no MMC's POV at all. I get seriously annoyed when it's there (people knew how to write great books with just one POV, but what happened in the last years??). I am able to think and deduct the motives from character's actions, so there's no reason for more than one POV. I can understand why the FMC acted like this with her family. It doesn't necessarily mean she's immature. I mean, she's young. She's not even in college yet. She's acting accordingly, imo.
Okay, so let's be perfectly honest here. I am a little bit scandalized by the nature of relationships here, but it is fiction. That said, I'm still not a huge fan, though I will admit that reading this felt sharper and more... Shocking? Blood-boiling? Not necessarily in a good way, but you know... Kind of like when you read a thriller or a horror. But I guess that has a right to exist. Clearly, there's some demand for it. I might give it a shot again in the future, if I'll want something thrilling (bad or good - doesn't matter, thrills are thrills). That's all from me.
