I loved Raven, considering what she goes through at 17 she is kick ass.
For her to have gone through that and made it into a positive even if it did mean becoming and assassin for the mafia.
I also have to say I loved Reyes, Luis and Damien. They all seem to be good for each other. I will say that their story about little Mia did break my heart a little but I did feel that it gave me a better understanding to their obsession with trying to keep Raven safe.

I didn't like how it ended. I didn't like the what happened to them and that the other guys got that news over the phone and I hate the fact that I don't know how long I have to wait to find out if they are all okay or not.

I was a really good book by issue is I'm super inpatient and I want part 2 yesterday.

I did not find the insta love between the characters believable. The fact that a woman who was abused, picked up by the "mafia" raised as an "assassin" (hit man) and had never trusted anyone before suddenly let down her guard and trusted three random men she met with her deepest darkest secrets in a matter of days. The fact that three men who had never shared a woman before did so easily, without jealousy, and within a few hours of meeting a woman for the first time without knowing anything about her. Mafia men who run guns? Who were abused as kids? In addition to the lack of character consistency i was also put off when the female lead stated her only two triggers during sex were knives and chains and the male leads proceeded to use both of them to "help her get over her triggers".

editing to add I just listened to the audio and man the narrators did so well bringing it to life but that ending listening to it even though I knew it was coming was hard!!

I absolutely loved this book!! From our sassy spitefire FMC Raven to her 3 Delicious men Luis, Reyes, and Damien. This is a fast paced book and an easy read. There is some TW with this books so please read them before you dive in. I loved the side characters. They brought a fun side to the side I enjoyed reading.

OMG what can I say this book was amazing I just read and read until I finished it. Raven is the badass FMC who was abused by her mums friend to which she unalived him, her best friend Naomi took her to where she works and she met Ed and Zeke who took her under their wing and trained her to be the best assassin, she need work on her bike which is when she met Reyes instalove he fell hard, the next day she met Luis and Damien and they all became tight, they would burn the world to keep her safe and she would do the same she has handed them all their asses through racing and training 😂, it ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what happens next it is a super spicy book please read the trigger warnings

Raven has had a rough life from start to finish she has dealt with things that no woman should have to face. But in the midst of it she found three guys who began to slowly put her back together again and understand the pain and heartache she was facing. They offered her a way to escape the demons chasing her and protect her from the demons that wouldn't leave her alone.

This book has everything, racing, blood, violence and my favorite why choose. When I started this book I was hooked. I felt like I could relate to the FMC, definitely one of those who doesn’t want to share and would rather handle the problem herself. Seeing Raven open up about her past definitely has some triggering moments. Be sure to check those triggers. But if you are looking for a book that shows a strong bad ass FMC rising up through her trauma this book is definitely for you.

Raven has a traumatic past that turned her into the woman she is now, one day she said no more and from there she became an assassin, she also loves street racing and that brings her to meet our 3 MMC’s when she wants to do some modifications to her bike and is sent to their shop.
Reyes, Luis, and Damien are our MMC’s (they’re also street racers) who become obsessed with her from the first moment they see her, they can’t get enough of her sassiness and will protect her at all costs, they also have their own past and even though they never thought they would all share the same girl they feel complete with this relationship. They’re helping her heal from her past as well as letting her heal them from theirs.
Everything seems to be good until one day raven starts to receive texts from an unknown number who is stalking her and knows absolutely everything about her, is it someone from her past?
This book has a little bit of everything, action, racing, violence, blood, suspense and lots of spice (it is a why choose after all) it does end on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for next book to come out, I need to know what happens next.

This book grabbed me and wouldn’t let go! I absolutely love raven and her boys! There is so much in this book that I couldn’t stop reading it! From the drama to the smut…oh the smut🥵…the plot is also very good! I can’t wait to see how the next book goes! This cliff hanger is the worst! But anywho 10 out of 10 would recommend! So I have a question, if Raven is this bad ass chick, why does she get so comfortable with the guys so fast and let them drive her babies!? Oh I know….they are stunning!

I received Raven’s Daggers as an Arc read. Let me tell you, this book is soooo good!! Once I started I couldn’t put it down! It’s a why choose, found family, mafia, revenge dark romance. Amazing story and writing, does leave a cliffhanger, but don’t let that deter you from reading this book!! Like I said it’s amazing and I’m going to be on edge till book 2 comes out!! Maybe that’s was Alena’s plan, to edge us for a long period of time lol

Raven has a horribly traumatic past and was rescued and saved by her best friend’s Uncle. He taught her how to defend herself and work around her trauma. She’s now an assâssin for him.

Reyes and Luis are brothers who own a mechanic shop fixing bikes and their best friend, Damien, owns an auto mechanic shop fixing cars. They all also work for their uncle who is partners with Raven’s found uncle. All 3 guys also have very traumatic pasts that seem to draw a connection between themselves and Raven.

This book is sêxy, steamy, action packed, sweet and thrilling! I gave it 5 Stars and 3.5-4 Spice

I went into this story blind just from reading the blurb, because that sold me on wanting to read it. Best decision ever. From start to finish Raven had me just loving her badass character and for what she endured at 17 thing's could've turned out differently for her if it hadn't have been for her best friends uncle. To say this book had be hooked from the beginning is an understatement. This does end on a cliffhanger, so hopefully we won't have to wait long for the next book, because how it ended I need to know what's going to happen.

Trauma, Spice & Chaos—Sign Me Up for Book 2!

Okay listen besties—I am 1000% a book girl. Like, I’ll choose pages over earbuds any day 😂. But when I got an ALC of "Raven’s Daggers" by Alena Jane, I was like “fineee, let’s see what this audiobook life is about.” And honestly? I’m shook.

Narration tea first: Wen Ross? Chef’s kiss. He owned the MMCs (Reyes, Luis, and Damien). Sierra Kline did good too, but real talk—I did not vibe with Raven having a southern accent, and her voice felt older than how I pictured her. Both of them though? Perfect pacing, nailed the emotions. Still, I wish it was duet instead of dual because then I’d have been fully feral.

Now, the story? Whew. This is a dark why choose romance—so YES, Raven doesn’t have to pick, and thank the book gods because her chemistry with Reyes, Luis, and Damien was hot AF. Like, off-the-charts, constantly-on-fire hot. The spice was everywhere, the grit was delicious, the suspense had me gasping… and the ending? GIRL. No. I need book 2 right now.

Dark, twisted, and spicy with a side of why choose chaos? Yeah, besties—you’re gonna want this one.

Raven's Daggers by Alena Jane is a dark why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sierra Kline and Wen Ross. This is the first book in the All in the Name of Blood series.

The relationship between Raven, Reyes, Luis, and Damien was very fast paced. The boys meet her and immediately want to make her theirs. I liked how they want to protect her. I enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book in the series Raven's Chains to be released on December 18, 2025.

Wen and Sierra did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, why choose romance, or mafia romance.

Don't let my 3 ⭐️ deter you, I did enjoy this book!!

Raven's Daggers follows Raven a young woman with a traumatic past. We follow her in her new found life and confidence seeking justice for those who truly deserve it. Along her way she meets three talk, dark and handsome's who are ready to burn the world to keep her safe. Little did Raven know not all the shadows have been ousted into the light, some still linger ready to take what they believe is theirs.

I loved the fast paced action, adrenaline and addictive why choose (we always love a why choose moment 🥵) as well as Raven's character development. Throughout the book Raven is tested and her past trauma causes nightmares, but our strong, fierce and sassy FMC stands her ground and opens herself up.

It lost stars for me as I felt as if we missed out on her healing. The book mentions some very difficult subjects (but it is done well) however, I felt that it skimmed over the healing process a little. It would have been nice to be on that journey with her, to strengthen our bond with her as a character and give closure.

Overall it was a good book and I am glad that I read it! It is definitely worth a go! I will 100% read the sequel when it is released!

Hmmm, Pampered, cared for, protected, and Loved x3!!!

I started reading this story and contected with some of the main characters' trauma. As I continued to read the book/story and learned more info, I started piecing together how everything collided and fits together, I was like ok ok I get it makes some sense. Then the x3 happens and at first I was like ok this is strange but then as everything unfolds, and everything plays out, falls into place, I was like ok ok I'm loving this for the main female character, she has been through h3ll and back, drugged through the mud multiple times, etc she deserves this happiness, she deserves all the love and pampering and BAM the author throws and huge twist n turn blowing your mind, leaving you screaming and guessing what happens. It does end up being continued. SO BUCKLE UP, PUT THOSE HELMETS ON AND ENJOY THE CRAZY ADVENTUROUS AGONIZING RIDE!!!! GREAT WRITING/STORY ALENA I CANT WAIT FOR BOOK 2 💜🫶💜

All the dialog seemed forced and predictable, with more "hey bitch" 's than I'll ever need. There was so much extra info and unnecessary explanations, but at the same time, it seems like the story had so much potential for additional side quests and events. Almost DNF when the guys started talking about and slicing Raven (the girl who was raped and unconsentingly cut??) and she reacted nonchalant...

😫🤯😱🤩 THIS BOOOOOOK! I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book and i am so thankful. I haven’t read a Why Choose in a while and this just made me giddy! I LOVED this book. I loved the storyline. It was really fast paced, but it all fit together and didn’t feel rushed! Ugh! Raven & her “Lost Puppies” are the best and i cannot wait to read more of their story! The attitude. The nicknames. The obsession. All of it. Plus - That CLIFFHANGER! I was NOT ready 😭🤯

Brief Overview: Raven has a really screwed up childhood and her best friend’s uncle takes her in and treats her as his own. He runs a gym and he trains her to be an assassin. But.. what she’s not expecting is to run into three, YES THREE, beautiful, tall and tatted bikers who become obsessed with her. Now, Raven is independent but her attraction and need for them is immediate, as is theirs for her. So.. when someone starts sending her text messages threatening them and her, they all have to come together to keep each other safe. But can they?

Right from the start, my emotions were all twisted up for Raven Martinez. Those first pages hit the ground running and showed exactly how Raven gets that fierce main bitch energy.
My kind of girl: coffee, bikes, and cars, and a whole harem of guys at her beck and call!
And Luis, Reyes, and Damien? They’ll be whatever she needs them to be. But they got her back for sure & have those possessive streaks that I love in my book boyfriends. Yes, please! And when the spice hits… oh boy, it hits HOT!
Sierra Kline and Wen Ross did an amazing job bringing all the feelings and emotions to life. Plus, multiple points of view? Love that!
This story is tough and gritty, so definitely check the trigger warnings.

Also, this will be a cliffhanger moment, I know, gotta wait on book 2!
