I chose this set of books too read and they were all a page turner and I just couldn't put it down. I would say to anyone who asked me read them you would love the story. Why because it is well written and the carrickters really bring the story too life

Zu allererst muss ich sagen: das Buch wird als Kurzgeschichte verkauft - aber ehrlich: ich habe Bücher in dieser Länge gekauft.

Nach längerer Zeit durfte ich in eine meiner Lieblingswelten abtauchen. Und es war wunderschön und jetzt kann ich wirklich kaum erwarten, dass das nächste Buch in der Serie erscheint. Das Buch liegt zeitlich vor dem ersten Teil der 'Cursed Magic'-Serie.
Claire arbeitet in der Kneipe ihrer Mutter und fragt sich, wie und wann sie nur einen vernünftigen Mann kennenlernen soll. Da kommt eine neue Stadtwache zur Hilfe als ein übereifriger Verehrer ihrer Mutter Nachts etwas zudringlich wird.
Farron geht seiner Arbeit als Assasin des Königs nach. Dabei wird er immer wütender und begeht Fehler. Die er dann ausbaden darf. Aber auch wenn er sein arrogantes, tödliches Selbst ist, hat er doch sein Herz auf dem rechten Fleck.

Das Buch begleitet abwechselnd Claire und Farron - daher wechselt es uch zwischen einer Liebesgeschichte und einem ... hmmm .... Politthriller? Romantik und Spannung lösen sich ab und ich finde die Mischung sehr gelungen.

Jetzt muss nur noch ganz schnell das neue Buch herauskommen .... 'Entangled' war ein wunderbarer Appetizer für mehr!

Darn I finished it

I am in love with the characters of this yet another great book. hope they continue to exist. I loved this is the fourth book of this great writer and I wish I could write like this.

I must say this book is a lot better than the ending of the other book though it left a lot still unanswered about Farron and Aareon and of course Claire and her mother. I really look forward to reading book 3 when it comes out
