CARELESS is an erotic romance novella of 16,000 words. Includes m/m and m/m/f with BDSM elements of dominance and submission.
Alternate cover edition for ASIN B00FUBT7S0
After being forced out of his company, Nelson returns home a billionaire with a hole in his life. When he meets Kimberly and Samuel, he decides he’ll have them both.
But Kimberly and Samuel aren’t a couple, and Samuel’s the one holding things up. He hasn’t dated a woman in five years, and even though it’s plain he loves Kimberly, he agrees to Nelson’s threesome on the condition that it be only one night.
Kimberly would marry Samuel in an instant if he asked. He’s just not interested. But a single night to satisfy her curiosity is better than never knowing Samuel’s kiss.
There’s no way for Nelson, Samuel and Kimberly to all get what they want. One careless moment of weakness has the power to destroy them.
This tale contains explicit sexual content and graphic language that may be objectionable to some readers. Includes multiple partner interactions, sexual dominance and submission, male/male and m/m/f scenes. New adult. For adults only.
If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.
Some random facts about Cleo: 1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs. 2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!) 3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine. 4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*
I really enjoyed this story. It's kinda an insta love with a twist. Or friends to lovers but it took a third party to get them to see they were really in love.

3.5 SEXUALLY ADVENTUROUS STARS
Kimberly and Samuel are best friends and have been since they started working together a year ago. They are at a yoga class when Samuel decides to bet Kimberly that the substitute instructor, Nelson, is gay. Samuel tests him by invited Nelson out to dinner with he and his girlfriend.
Nelson believes that Samuel has picked up on his attraction to couples, but at the least he is having dinner with new people, since he's recently moves to town.
Nelson soon finds out that they are just friends but tells them straight out that he is attracted to both of them and would like to play. Kimberly who is secretly in love with Samuel, who she believes is gay, though he's said he's said he's bisexual, is game for one night only. Although Nelson will do what he can to make it more than one night. Samuel is open to one night as well, but afraid that he will ruin his friendship with Kimberly and she will look at him in disgust just like the last woman he was with... his high school girlfriend. Nelson is dominate and takes charge of both of them in the bedroom
But once they are all together the sex is just HOT.
I'm not so into the idea of two men together and don't get much from it, but when the two are pleasuring Kimberly and taking what they need from her, I can honestly say it caused a tingle.
Although I didn't give it more stars, I would definitely be interested in seeing where this relationship between the three of them can go.
Not bad! The beginning was a disaster, though. Why exactly would an erotica novella start with a woman drunk, crying, and making an embarrassing scene at a restaurant? Is that a turn-on for anyone?
However, the rest of it was pretty okay. Samuel is bi, in love with Kimberly, but afraid to admit it because he's had a bad experience with biphobic women in the past. That added an extra tender element to this story.
Also, there was a cute moment between Kimberly and Nelson where she had to use her safe word, but it was all very fun and light and giggly. It's nice to see an erotic novel that realizes sex is fun.
The "billionaire" element added nothing, and I'm looking forward to when we stop fetishizing money.
Okay, so usually I'm put off by these "billionaire playboy" stories because the rich dude seems so pompous and domineering--but Nelson isn't. He's warm and bossy and kinda funny, but he's also solicitous. He's compassionate and concerned, and he's bisexual-- in fact he loves ménage quite a lot. (This is a F/M/M story)
Kimberly and Samuel are best buddies. They have worked together for a year and spend a lot of time together. Samuel is bisexual, but Kimberly has never seen him with a woman--for good reason. Samuel hasn't been with a girl since high school when his girlfriend recoiled in horror over Samuel's confession that he was also attracted to men.
So, Samuel is afraid to get involved with a woman--especially Kimberly--because he doesn't want to hurt her by also wanting to be with a man. One Friday night Samuel and akin rely are at yoga and the substitute instructor, Nelson, is To. Die. For. Samuel invites him to join them for dinner, and Nelson accepts as he's new in town and thinks Samuel may have picked up on his couples desire...
Not so much. Both Kimberly and Samuel plan to compete for Nelson's interest. When he confesses that he's actually interested in both of them, together, well....
Whoooboy. Did it suddenly get hot up in here?
Oh. Yeah. Hot hot hot smexysmex to be had. One of the best ménage couplings (?) I've read in a while! I'm definitely interested in reading more. This is a short read, but a great read. There a some light BDSM elements that work completely in the scene.
In the end I wanted to shake Samuel, and then knock him on the head. And then wrap him in a headlock, nouggie his blonde head and drag him back to bed for more. But, alas, I am merely a reader and more of a lover than a fighter anyway, so I let him slink away and prayed that he came to his Kimberly-loving senses sooner rather than later.
Wow, this is a hot and great read. Nelson knows what he wants and gets them both together in his bed. A hot long session follows. looking forward to read more in this series
OMG I am really starting to love Cleo's books, this is the second that I have picked up while browsing Ibooks. Although short it is a new take on the ménage storyline. Samuel is bisexual and in love with his best friend Kimberly, Kimberly is also in love with Samuel but he has never shown any interest in being anything more than friends. Along comes Nelson the sexy yoga teacher that has them both hot and bothered. Nelson is also bisexual but has a thing for couples. He can see the tension between Samuel and Kimberly and helps them explore it.
I can't wait to read the next installment of this series. I highly recommend for any Ménage fans.
This was my first MFM book I have read. The pacing of the book was outstanding and the plot was believable. I was hooked from the very beginning with the yoga tie-in. The best part of the book was the opening up of two vanilla characters who needed a little push into a new wonderful world. I also liked how the ending was not cookie cuter and left me with wanting to see where this story continues. So I may have to try the other books in the series.
This novella is exactly what it says it is. It is a menage novella, MMF, and the sex is written quite well. The tension between Samuel and Kimberly is quite real and the sexual tension explodes when the three of them get together. Read it for what it is, not what you want to make of it. I'll read another of Cleo's novellas in the future, and will put this set on my "to read" list.
This was really good! So much so I will probably buy more books in this series. I love when the dudes get it on too and this had that for sure. The way they decided to hook up was a little off for me but once they got to Nelson's apartment I was down for everything that occurred between them sexually. I was a little pissed at how Samuel still acted after everything though.
Continuity issues galore and sexy times that had me going, “wait, what?!?” Nelson’s persona shifts in a way that isn’t very smooth. He’s all about communication, but leaves out he’s basically a dom. Kimberley says Samuel is bi in the beginning, but then keeps insisting he’s gay. Samuel’s attitude at the end doesn’t fit. Will not be continuing to the next book.
No plot spoilers (there isn't much of one) No potential triggers I don't recall any grammatical or editorial errors It's a very short story all about menage sex. In all it's varieties. The characterisation is okay but too basic to hang a story on. I don't think I will be purchasing more by this author
🔥🔥🔥🔥 two besties (Kimberly & Samuel) who are hiding their sexual feelings towards each other, agree to one steamy night of sex with their yoga instructor, Nelson. It's a hot, steamy, no holds barred sexcapade.
He's a stranger. They don't get to know each other. Honestly, it would have been a better love story if the sex happened at the end so she could show him that his fears are groundless. But it wasn't a novel just a short story that ended in a climax.
What a brilliant book featuring three people who could become more to each other if only they could let go. I absolutely loved and recommend this book and hope that others enjoy it as much as I did.
This is a good, solid start to the trilogy; nicely establishes the personalities and relationships of the characters. A good steamy story, with so much more on the horizon. Definitely read the whole series!
Feels like the book doesn't have a lot of character depth. Just sort of starts in the middle with not much background on how these people got got to here.
