So far I've enjoyed this series and I like how the heroes fall for their heroines fast. So these series are insta-love.

I liked how she didn't fall at his feet, he had to chased her and wooed her. Sure he sometimes acted like a diva but she brought him down real fast.

Now bring on Niall's book, who's not a manwhore and so far during the 4 previous books no woman has been mentioned for him.

Bound By Song is book 4 in the Cauld Ane series, and is about Max and Grace. Max is the lead singer of the popular band Fallen Crown. After an exclusive show in Scotland, he met Grace and instantly knew she was his mate. He found out who she was and has been tracking her down ever since. Grace is feeling like a failure. She lost her job, broke up with her boyfriend, and is now losing her apartment and moving back in with her family until she can get back on her feet. Both of her younger siblings love Fallen Crown and are very excited when they give a rare interview and Max offers them tickets to the Portland show, along with backstage passes.

Max had assumed that his offer would be accepted and that Grace would fall at his feet to worship him, like so many women do. He is quite upset when Grace does not show up, and Max has to figure out just how to get Grace to not only accept her fate, but simply like him. It's not something he's used to and it's very frustrating for him (but provided a lot of smiles and laughter for this reader). The hardest part is getting Grace to let go of Max's past as a womanizer. He has many secrets and some tough reasons for his behavior. But for Grace, she cannot accept Max into her life unless he gives all of himself - especially the deep, dark parts.

I absolutely love this series and all the characters. I cannot wait for the next book, Bound By Dreams, Niall's story!

Love this world that Piper Davenport has created! The Cauld Ane are the perfect mix! And Max & Grace's story fits in perfectly. Grace is feisty & stubborn - sometimes TOO stubborn. Max is definitely alpha goodness, but he also goes a TAD too far in his arrogance sometimes. I may have wanted to smack each of them a couple times! Heh.

This story has everything, making it a very enjoyable read! There's humor (lots of LOL moments) and heart (some sniffles, too) and heat (*fans self* whoooeeee! Max & Grace get to the steamy times, they do!).

As always, I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series!! Love the anticipation! : )

This is the fourth installment of Piper Davenport's Cauld Ane series. I have been enjoying this world that Piper has created. I really love that the men in this series fall hard for their women but the women don't necessarily fall at their feet. The men have to chase them a wee bit. I also love that Piper writes the heroes as men born to love their mates unconditionally and that they worship them. They get upset when the women doubt themself or say negative things about themself. To have a man treat you like a queen and to make you feel like your the most beautiful creature is rare and the fact that Piper has written heroes that so that is refreshing. As well as being completely devoted to their women and unable to cheat is another plus.

In this fourth chapter, we get to know Max a little better. We met him in book 2 but now we really get to dig deep. Max is the textbook version of a rock star. He is cocky, self-center, and gorgeous everything a lead singer of a famous rock group should be.

Grace is a woman that is less than impressed by him and feels out of her depth around him. But with Max being persistent Grace begins to see the good things in him and with her helpMax starts to open up to her.

I am enjoying this series immensely and feel Pipe has done a great job creating characters you love and want to know more about. They are unique adn I think Piper has created something very special here.

Max and Grace’s story starts in the middle of Brodie and Pepper’s, timeline-wise. I think this book can also be a standalone, but it is so much more enjoyable reading them in order. And I just really have to say I love Piper Davenport’s writing style.

Max and Grace have a fairly rocky start. Grace isn’t the biggest fan of Fallen Crown, Max’s band. And Max’s power of suggestion just doesn’t seem to work on Grace. One of my FAVORITE parts of this book (and one of the funniest), though, has to be when Grace is emailing Max, but thinking it was her younger brother, Spencer, playing a joke on her. Max and Grace may have a rough start, but these two were perfect for each other. No one can calm Max’s temper quite like Grace can, course that could have something to do fact that Grace is Max’s mate.

While you don’t have the danger/intrigue of the first three books, Bound by Song isn’t without it’s own drama, most stemming from the long ago death of Max and Nial’s sister. It’s going to be interesting to see how the brothers go from here, and how much longer Fallen Crown will last with media the way it is in the modern age. It certainly poses a challenge for those that are Claud Ane, considering they don’t age like normal humans. I’m eager now to get started on Bound by Dreams and see where this goes next.

Fun extension of the series

The series has now moved on from the Grunnach Brothers to the MacMillan brothers who were strong featured characters in the first three books. This book centers on Max and Grace Wilson, a woman briefly mentioned in an earlier book. The dynamic here is interesting as Max knows she’s his mate but she wants nothing to do with him and has the power to resist him where other women have not. Most of the book deals with their building a relationship and Grace struggling to trust him and accept that he could possibly want her.

As in previous books there are story holes, things brought up and then just left dangling. Max isn’t as likable a character as the previous male protagonists. We don’t get to know Grace as well as we did previous female protagonists. Thus it was harder to really connect with this couple. You also really have to have read the earlier books or this book would really leave you hanging in both understanding the other characters and the Cauld Ane. Grace’s reaction to Max once she turns 25 is also not portrayed the same way as in the first three books.

The book is good just not quite as enjoyable as the first three.

What a great story, another to go with already fantastic series. I loved getting to reaquaint myself with Max and Grace. As I've read this tory before I already knew what the ending would be, but that didn't detract from the thrill of getting to read it all over again. I loved rereading how Max won over Grace and how Grace showed him how to be less of an a**. I just love the two of them together. I'm glad that they, Max & Niall, finally found some clarity about their sister's death and their brother's involvement in it. I'm also glad to see that Kenna and Max's relationship is on the mend. I already know what will happen next, but I'm excited to reread Niall's story and his love interest.

I enjoyed getting to briefly catch up with the previous couples and I loved getting to read Pepper's delivery scene. It was very comical reading what she had to say to everyone. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing where the author takes us next.

I really love this series, and Max and Grace's story was no exception! They have a really great relationship, and I liked seeing Max try to explain/Grace come to terms with the whole Cauld Ane world. I did find myself wishing that they argued just a touch less though. Unlike the previous books in this series, there wasn't really any suspense. I have to admit that I do think a little suspense would have added to the story, but that's just my two cents. I also read the original version of this book, and I believe the only change here was the addition of the sex scenes. I wasn't sure what to expect with that since the characters do not "bind" until late in the book, but the author managed to squeeze in 4 brief sex scenes in the last 10% or so of the story. I did enjoy the romance and the plot, and can't wait to read the next installment!

Sexy, arrogant rock star is tamed.

I’m sure we can all remember having a crush on someone in a famous band and dreaming they would fall in love with us and then we’d get married. Oh, how Max wished that Grace would be in this category! But Grace isn’t a fan and he has to work very hard to get her to trust him not to break her heart after his well-known love ‘em and leave ‘em past. However, Grace’s family seem to love Max and she’s outnumbered! A new job, Princes, a royal coronation; Grace’s life gets turned upside-down from her good girl church upbringing. But when they do get together boy do the sexual sparks fly! Plus, the real story of Max’s sister’s murder comes out, thanks to a discovery that Grace is led to.

Oh, and you must download Fallen Crown’s song Northern Lights which is sung by Piper and her husband!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Max, he's been more of an enigma than the others so I was interested to see where his story lead.
I enjoyed the fact that Grace wasn't a pushover, it was comical how Max reacted to some of the things he'd always taken for granted. I also liked that she challenged him and wouldn't let him get away with his secrets when he wouldn't stand for her to have any of her own.
The conversations between Pepper and Max were golden. When Grace learned the truth, she was understandably shaken, but Max was ever persistent.
When Max's secrets finally come to light, Grace helps him through and suggests that things aren't always as they seem. Turns out that Max's interpretation was way off. I did enjoy the glimpses into the lives of those that we already know. They truly are one big family, blood related or not.

Welcome back to the world of Cauld Ane.

I really didn't expect to like this series as much as I do, honestly, I don't read very much PNR. However, I am loving this series and my have to rethink my thinking!

Max and Grace are a wonderful couple. I love that she stands up for herself even with a potential overbearing mate. Max is still the "grumpy" one and has to work for it, something the man is definitely not used to. Grace has no intentions of trying to change Max, but want him to realize the kind of person he could be rather than is. This one is a little lower on the drama, but has more information on an event that happened previously. You don't have to read the previous books, but I would suggest it because ...well they're good reading!

I received this book for an honest review. Another great story in the Cauld Ane Series! I loved reading Max and Graces story, it is always fun to see a bad boy fall in love with a good girl. Grace is a strong heroine who does not let Max's charm over come her, it is great to see him work for Grace's approval. Max is an alpha male who normally does not have to work for female attention until he meets his mate!I love Piper's insta love stories but it is fun to read one where the heroine give the hero a run for his money! I would say that you don't have to read the other books in the series to understand the story line .... but you should because they are amazing! This book has romance, witty banter, a sassy heroine and a alpha hero, it is a must read book!

This series just keep getting better! Max has been searching for his mate after a chance meeting backstage. His nerves are frayed and his temper is definitely showing. Grace has hit the bottom...losing her job, cutting her boyfriend loose and having to move back in with her parents has her slightly depressed. Enter Max, the crazy musician that seems to think they were meant to be together and will go to any lengths to see it happen. Max is shocked to find that Grace doesn't fall at his feet or seem to be impressed by his over the top efforts. Can Max be the man she needs? Will Grace look deeper and see that Max is really the man for her? Can't wait for more of the Cauld Ane!!

This is one series that every book is a hit, and each new book brings a different couple together while still letting us have snippets of how our other couples are.

This was an amazing book that held my attention from the first page till the last. Grace was perfect for Max, I like that she made him work to be a better man and less brash. The chemistry between them was really hot, the pacing of the story was good and even though we do wait a bit for steamy times, it is worth it as any earlier would have felt rushed and forced.

I really love this series. Honestly at first I was a bit put off by Max being the spoiled man, this is not a good look for a Alpha male. However Grace putting him in his place a time or two was quite funny to read. I loved Grace and her I am woman hear me roar attitude, she did not take his crap and put her foot down. He comes around in the end. I love that you find out more bits and pieces through out the different books.
I loved that it was not all hearts and roses for them at the beginning. I loved that Max had to struggle and work for what he wanted.

Max has met his match!

I can't get enough of this series! Each book brings us a new wonderfully magnetic couple whilst giving us a look in at the characters that came before them and a hint at who is next.

This book gave us rock star and Cauld Ane Max who is a little full of himself but brought down a peg or two by our new heroine Grace who is strong and confident and won't be rushed into anything or take any of Max's nonsense! As a couple they were fiery at times but equally sweet and this was another great addition to the Could Ane series!

I received an Arc for an honest review!
I loved this book once Grace got her head out of her butt! I felt bad for Max he tried so hard to get Grace but she was extremely stubborn! I wanted to strangle her a few times in this book! I understand she had issues with his popularity but he truly wanted her! Overall I loved this book because I absolutely love this series! Thank you for the opportunity to read this and provide my review!

This Book was given to me for an honest review.

While I really like this series, I have to say I did not care much for Max in the beginning. I really liked Grace I think she made up for my dislike of Max. She gives him a run for his money. They are so funny together she puts him in his place a time or two. I think that is what I liked most about this book is Grace's feistiness.
I like this series more and more as we go. I like how you find out a little more about things in every book.

I didnt like this one as much as the first two books. Max was a real arrogant jerk in this and I found Grace to be annoying. Though she told him off sometimes, all he had to do was kiss her and she magically forgave him. Max needed to communicate throughout and refused to. Was an okay book, but I couldn't like the characters as much as the others. Currently reading Niall's book and it's better but still not as good as the first two.

Max met Grace when she was visiting Scotland. He knew instantly she was his mate but she had a boyfriend and she lives in the States. He takes his band to where she lives with the hope he can find her close to her 25th birthday. He finds her but doesn’t expect her to refuse him. She isn’t just falling at his feet and he totally screws up trying to claim her. I love how she puts him in his place and doesn’t take his brooding attitude. I Love this series!

Max and Grace met at a meet and greet for his band. He knew she was meant for him immediately, but had a small struggle convincing her of that. Grace was very independent and she wasn’t at all sure she wanted to live in Max’s world. He was pretty arrogant, but wanted to love and take care of her more than anything. I did like how Max was different with her than the rest of the world. I overall enjoyed this read, and can’t wait for Niall’s book.

Emotional

Max finds his mate after a concert in Scotland. Grace was dragged to a concert by her brother and sister and they went backstage to meet the band. She ran from the pull she felt. They go home to the states. Max finally tracks Grace down , but she fights him all the way. She fights him, but wants him. Can they make a relationship work? Come take an emotional roller coaster ride and find out what happens.

Bound by Song is the fourth book in the Cauld Ane series and is Max and Grace's story. Secrets, Secrets and more Secrets. Can Max and Grace survive once all of the secrets are divulged? I am loving this wonderful series. Ms Davenport has created a mesmerizing world with enchanting characters. This story is fun, sweet, interesting, unique approach to paranormal, page turner read. I can't wait to read Bound by Dreams.

This was Max and Grace's story. Max is a famous singer and a Claud And, and he sees Grace, his mar, at his concert. Grac wants nothing to do with Max and Max is use to women falling at his feet. He has to work for Graces affection so they can get their happily ever after. Max wasn't my favorite going into this book, but I definitely fell for him.

Max and Grace are my second favorite couple out of this series so far. Sorry but Brodie and Payton are my favorites so far. However I love how Grace really made Max work for it instead of just falling at his feet. I adored how he was with her though even after they got together. Just go buy this book I promise you will not be disappointed.

But with all that craziness the past catches up with the present and blows everything up. This book is gut wrenching, angsty, funny, dramatic and filled WTF twists.

A SONG

Hot band leader, who is Cauld Ane meets his mate in the form of a churchgoing lady by the name of Grace. Max knows he cant live without her, but she's human. She is also very sassy. He's kind of arrogant and tries to manipulate her. Of course it doesnt work........Read the rest for yourself. Great series
