Olivia Knight FBI #15

The Runaway Girls

Rate this book
FBI agent Olivia Knight and her partner Brock have had better days.
While investigating a missing persons case in the Hamptons, they get a new assignment.

Multiple teens have gone missing in a small coastal town in South Carolina.

Initial reports were that the teens ran from their troubled home life. Soon, the runaways case takes an alarming turn, as a disturbing pattern begins to form. A possible connection between each teen and their disappearance emerges. Now, Olivia and Brock find themselves with far more questions than answers.

Is there some sort of a runaway pact? Or is something far more depraved at work?

In Olivia’s world, the pursuit of justice triumphs everything, even romantic relationships.

Some say the larger the smile, the more wicked the intent. One thing for certain, you can run and you can hide, but the time for justice is near.

I love reading Elle Gray’s books. This time they are charged with finding missing persons from a small coastal town. They seem to have disappeared entirely. Olivia and Brock from the FBI are on the case. They have gone under cover using their own names. A tidbit that surprised me. Anyway, they gather their clues and eventually they find a trafficking ring that leads them to two of the most recent girls. Worth the read.

Not the best but not the worst either

This book was just ok. Nothing exciting about it. It didn't end well either. I've been back and forth whether to continue reading this series or not. I dont really care for the main character any longer. First of all she's always crossing the line, she's nosy and some how she always does the rescuing. The series has made her partner look weak. Any way it's obvious the Angela character wasn't really dead and a good cop let alone FBI agent would cross all the Ts to make sure. To me just too many unanswered questions and then some things so obvious! I wouldn't recommend unless you just have nothing else to read.

A definite must read series

This was a complex case for Brock and Olivia, especially when it seems as though there are no leads to follow. However, for these experienced Agents, are willing to do whatever it takes to figure out what's going on. It's a complicated problem, but this is what they live for. It's certainly going to be an intriguing story.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I'm not sure, but the situation at the very end seemed like it could lead to the beginning of the next story. However, after reading the description of the next book, it doesn't seem likely. Unsure what to think. JMO!

The Runaway Girls( Olivia Knight FBI Mystery Thriller Book 15)

OMG!!!!!!!!! This book was way way beyond freaking amazing. I read so late into the night, that I was going to over sleep and not wake up in time to get my son to school. Olivia and Brock sure do get some bizarre cases, they go to a small town, where 21 teenagers dissappear in 2 years. It took a lot of twists and turns but they finally figured it out. It was very strange and very upsetting. I can't wait to read the next book.

unexpected

I was a bit shocked for that and then. The whole book story kept me engaged, totally throughout. The happy and the highs and lows let’s put it that way. All there in the book. Definitely hard to try to figure it out where everything was leading to so you help me cling down to try to see if I could figure it out, but I could never do that. I was captivated throughout a story. I did always want to get back to see what’s next. He definitely did a great job and not respect.
Thank you again. Elle Gray

Cases involving kids are hard, but when it involves multiple kids, it gets worse. Olivia and Brock are determined to figure out what is happening, and bring it to a close.

Wow, this was something else! I cannot wait for more in this series!

predictable

I found the story line predictable. I also didn’t feel the law enforcement aspect was believable. The characters were difficult to engage with.
