Poppy has had a rough go of things in the city, and returns home. She's working for Braken, grumpy owner of the resort. It turns out that she's pretty smart and savvy, with some great ideas to improve his business and save the resort. Of course, along the way, chemistry kicks in and heads them into a serious romance. Poppy returns to Firefly Ridge feeling like a failure. She gets a job at the ski resort owned by Braken. She has some really good ideas, but he's skeptical and intrigued.
