Welcome to a dark mafia romance where survival means trusting the most dangerous man of all.

VIOLET
I was sold like property, caged and used.
After six months, my fragile hope of rescue is almost gone, but I refuse to give up because nightmares don’t last forever. Mine ends when Broadway arrives. He’s dangerous and lethal, his world as dark as the one I’ve been trapped in.
Yet, he’s the only man who makes me feel safe, the only one who stirs something other than fear. The only man I trust not to hurt me.
Our connection is intense. Born from necessity, obsession, and raw emotion. A dream come true.
But just like nightmares, dreams don’t last forever.

BROADWAY
I know trouble when I see it, and the girl with violet hair is exactly that—trouble. Though not the kind I’m used to.
I’m supposed to rescue her and walk away, but the moment I touch her, I know I’ll never let her go. She becomes my obsession, my reason, my purpose. The one good thing in my chaotic life.
And the demons tormenting her become my targets. I hunt them down, one by one, the bloodthirsty beast inside me savoring every man who hurt my girl.
But there’s a threat lurking in the shadows, waiting to steal Violet... a threat I never saw coming.

In a world of nightmares and danger, the only escape comes through a love born from obsession, necessity, and bloodshed.

One thing you should know about me, I couldn't shut up about Breaking Hailey. I literally would talk about it to anyone who would listen to me. I also recommended that book to anyone and everyone. So to say that I was excited for Finding Violet is an understatement. And let me tell you something, it did not disappoint! This book was everything I wanted and more!

Now if you read Breaking and Saving Hailey, you know those books were very plot heavy. Finding Violet is different, it's more character heavy. It is also a very different type of story. If you read the first two books then you know you were introduced to Violet and you already know her backstory. And let me tell you something, IA Dice did a beautiful job at telling her story.

Violet has a lot of trauma that she needs to work through and to read her story and see her blossom into this strong and confident was so beautiful. Now Broadway.... I couldn't imagine a better MMC for her. This man was PURE PERFECTION! Everything about him was perfect. He was the right amount of protective. He was soft with her. He allowed her to be in control of every situation. It was seriously so beautiful to witness. But also, this man has it BAD! Talk about love at first sight. It's so funny because at first he thought the feelings he had was because he thought Violet gave him bad vibes. Sorry homie, that's called love and this man fell in love with Violet at first sight. This man was down bad from the jump. Then to watch him seek revenge for his girl, I swooned so hard!

Dare I say move over Carter, we have a new book boyfriend in town and his name is Broadway? At the end of the day I love EVERYTHING about this universe that IA Dice has created! I will never stop talking or recommending this series! So if you are questioning whether you should read this series, don’t. Stop waiting and do yourself a favor and read this masterpiece! IA Dice thank you for giving me another 5 star banger!

*As always thank you so much to IA Dice for allowing me to read this book as an arc in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review!

After reading Saving Hailey, I was a little nervous to find out more about Violet if you read them, then you know where and how they met) But I am so glad I did!! Broadway and Violets story was absolutely perfect. She has been through so much in a short time, but he was a perfect gentleman who just fell hard and fast. The emotion behind her story was intense, and Im not gonna lie sometimes hard to process. (Please read the Triggers, I tend to ignore them as I dont have triggers but some of you will and its highly recommended) I really sunk my teeth into this book and finished it within a few days. (If I didn't have to work, I would finish it in a day!) It was slightly different from Hailey and Carter, but it still had that same edge and intense pace behind it. I will say.... It's a slooooowww burn, but it's totally worth the wait if you ask me. Even though this book is a standalone, I still recommend you read Breaking and Saving Hailey Duet first. Even give Broken Rules and Promise a go before that to understand this universe more. Happy reading, and enjoy xx

Another absolutely amazing book in the series, I devoured the entire thing in almost one sitting.

The tension, the slow burn, the build up was just perfection. I could not put it down. The plot was great, Broadway was just everything. He was perfect, their chemistry was just amazing. They push and pull, the want. I ate it upppp. I love this series so much. I can’t wait for the next books!

Loved it, 5 stars.

***4,25 "Unbreakable!!!" stars***

"I'm not made of glass, so don't treat me like I'll break."
"You shouldn't have said that, baby."

I love this universe!!!
Carter and Hailey had stolen my heart and my attention instantly and if you have read this duet, you know Violet already and under which circumstances she and Hailey had met and I was very excited and nervous to get her story!!!
Finding Violet wasn't an easy read. It was intense, it was painful, and hopeful at the same time!!!
Broadway was an amazing man and his presence helped so much poor Violet!!!
These two together were the perfect match and I can not wait for the next instalment!!!

"I can't escape.
There's nowhere to hide.
And even if I could run, where would I go?"

Violet's life turned into a constant nightmare the last six months but her hands were bound for good!!! Used to be surrounded by monsters, she couldn't recognize the saviours that came to her rescue because of a girl that she had met in a difficult situation...
Now, Violet is away from the sinful clutches of those who was causing her only pain, but it is so difficult to let go all this trauma that has marked her soul!!!
But a broody and very throughtful mafioso will become her salvation!!!

"Everything is easier when he's around."

Broadway is Carter's right hand for a long time...
Their last mission is to find the girl with violet hair that Hailey is very fond of, but he has a bad feeling about her since the first moment he laid his eyes upon her...
But then, this ugly feeling is becoming something unrecognizable and he is realizing that he would protect this girl with his life and he will slay her demons one by one if she let him...

"I don't understand -don't want to understand- why I feel this way about a girl I've only held once."

I loved Violet and Broadway...
My heart was hurting for poor Violet. Her life was an endless nightmare and my heart was breaking over and over again for her behalf!!!
Broadway was exactly what this girl needed and I am glad that she had him in her corner!!!
Violet had a long way to recovery but these new people in her life were giving her hope and time to heal...

"You need to stop treating me like glass, Broadway. I'm not so easily broken."

I really loved and this story in this series!!!
I loved seeing more of Carter and Hailey!!!
I loved getting to know more about Violet and Broadway!!!
And I am impatiently waiting for the next story in this world!!!
The tiny glimpse we took in here from the next book had me anticipating it very badly!!!

"I'll make her fall in love with me even if it kills me."

I have been anxiously awaiting the third installment of the Shadows of Obsession series since the duet with Hailey and Carter. I knew when Violet was introduced she was gonna give this whole series a run for its money and BOY WAS I RIGHT

Picking up right where we left off after Hailey and Carter’s duet with Broadway, Carter’s right hand man. After seeing Violet, Hailey’s one friend in her the house of horrors, he’s immediately enthralled by her. Knowing she’s being kept by the vile men that took Hailey absolutely destroys him and he vows to get her back no matter the cost. Violet came to America with her sister who was also sold. She has been through countless horrors and atrocities and thinks that now comes the time where she will be sold to the highest and worst bidder imaginable. Come to find out its not who she would ever have expected.

The road to Violet’s recovery is not easy or simple by any means. This woman has been to hell and back again and still manages to put one foot in front of the other, with the help of this mysterious entity of a man who has been her shadow since he first laid eyes on her. Broadway is the biggest teddy bear of a mafioso. The care and consideration he takes with Violet is so heartwrenchingly beautiful and swoon worthy. Seeing Violet slowly bring down her walls and trust again was everything I needed and more.

I loved all of the found family/ character continuation we got throughout this book. Hailey and Carter are such an integral part of both Violet and Broadway’s story and I loved all of their cameos/ additions to the story. I was really worried we were going to have another cliffhanger ending that left me on the edge of my seat. Luckily it wasn’t, but instead gave more information about who the next book will include and I AM INTRIGUED.

Can’t wait to see whats next in this journey. While this isn’t super heavy into the “mafia” themes- it is definitely dark romance and I ATE THAT SH*T UP!

ARC Review - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - thank you for allowing me to be apart of your ARC team!

What a ride this was! I really enjoyed this one. I have also read book 1 & 2 about Hailey. This book is a stand alone in the series but I 100% recommend reading those two books before.

I can’t believe how well protected & guided this was. The trauma & things our FMC goes through & the author wrote this side of the story just right. The MMC has so much care for our Vi & he lets her take things at her own pace and this was honestly so so beautiful to read.

I just wanted to be there for Vi so much. She deserves the world & I am so happy she got Broadway. He would burn the world for her.

The only thing for me was the ending seemed a bit rushed. I got to 97% & was expecting a huge cliff hanger so it just seemed like it ended way to quickly & I could have had more before the epilogue?

I am excited for the next story in the series & I did love this book so much! Huge congratulations to I D Dice & thank you again!💖💖

You know when you are reading a book and it's just so good that you have to keep going and sort of speed through it because you really want to know what's going to happen, but then you realize you're closing in on the end and you feel like you have to slow down because you don't want it to be over? Well, that's Finding Violet.

This is NOT a series where you can treat the books as standalones. You should read Breaking Hailey and then Saving Hailey before reading Finding Violet. (They are well worth it!!) I have been waiting for this book for several months now and oh my god. I'm obsessed.

This book is about Violet and Broadway. I have loved Broadway from the very first book, and I am just so smitten with him. Perhaps even...besotted with him 😉. Broadway is broody and strong and loyal. He's Carter's right hand man. He's fiercely protective of his boys and Hailey.

Something happens when he sees Violet. Something inside him is sent into turmoil. Broadway doesn't know what to do with the feelings he has when he simply sees her. He quickly understands what Carter feels with Hailey and steps in to help make Violet feel safe at all costs and in every way.

The gentleness, consent, friendship, understanding and peace that Broadway shows Violet is absolutely beautiful. He is so patient and so perfect with her. She's so strong and her resilience is inspiring. As their story unfolds, you can't help but root for them. They fight for their HEA and it's magic.

We get to see all the old players, too. Koby, Carter, Hailey, Ryder and the villains are all in the story with a set up for book 4. I.A. Dice is a fantastic story teller and I can't wait for more.

Story: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Spice: 3.5/5 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 1/2 (a little different kind of spice - but perfect)
Characters: 5/5 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
Series: 5/5 💜💜💜💜💜

I just knew I was going to love this one as much as I did!

When we met violet in book two, I just knew she was going to have a tragic story & she most definitely did.

I found that the main characters in this one were absolutely perfect for each other. The MMC was not a cinnamon roll by any means (he's the bosses second in the mafia) but, he is able to just get a strong read on the FMC right from the start and give her what she needed to heal.

I found it to be a bit too insta love for me at the beginning, but the story moves past that super quick and is filled with lots of action from the start to the end.

You get:
• Spicy Dark Romance
• Mafia
• Protector MMC
• Held Hostage
• Dark Themes
• Past Trauma
• Safe Place

I highly recommend this series and can't wait to read the next! Available on KU, ebook, paperback, and audiobook.

RATING: 4.5/5

Violet's story is not an easy one. Readers learn about her in the previous books in I.A. Dice's Shadow of Obsession Series. The author dives deeper into what Violet has been through, captures the emotional aspect, and provides the reader with the lengths Broadway will go to to protect her.

The slow burn in "Finding Violet" hits differently. As Violet's character heals, the story's progression builds up unhurriedly, which, through Violet's eyes, is the safe point for her to trust Broadway.

I'm enjoying this series and look forward to what may come after this.

4 stars ⭐️ the way I’m so invested in this series!

Broadway took his role as protector very seriously. He went from saviour to friend to patiently sweet lover. I thought Violet’s character was so delicately crafted and given what she went through, her strength and resilience was astounding. Broadway was exactly what she needed.

Compared to Carter + Hailey’s story, I thought this one felt rushed. I wish we got more character development and a better conclusion. I would have been happier with 2 books for this couple!

I still loved it, I just think my high expectations and love for Carter + Hailey took over.

I can’t wait to see who the MMC will be in Catching Bianca.

☠️ARC REVIEW☠️

I am so grateful to have received an ARC copy for this standalone in the Shadows of Obsession series. Though this book is technically a stand alone, I A Dice has created such a wonderful and immersive dark, Mafia world throughout the books and I would recommend reading the previous Duet in the series prior to going into this.

‼️There are multiple dark themes throughout this book including human trafficking and r*pe recovery so sensitive readers please check your TW‼️

All I’ll say is if you thought Carter was unhinged then you have not seen anything yet! Broadway makes Carter look like a puppy dog and that must make me unhinged because apparently I’m in love with him!!

From the start of this book, from Broadways POV it felt very Insta love which is usually my least favourite trope as I find the love story less believable. HOWEVER!!!!! Yet again I A Dice worked her magic and I loved this book and had such a good time reading it. I read it in less than 24 hours and yet again I am left feeling empty and needing more of her writing!

There is far less plot in this book than in Haileys, as it is very much character driven but these characters are honestly everything. I A Dice has a very special way of writing her characters and this book was no different, she smashed it out the park. There was clearly a lot of time and effort that went into carefully creating these characters, including the side characters which I actually felt brought a little found family into the mix. The character growth and development of Violet after she experienced such traumatic things was an amazing read, although hard at times and the way Broadway supported her through it had me swooning from start to finish. The possessiveness of this man is unmatched and I am here for it! The spice definitely delivered but also was so well written to these particular characters, rather than it feeling like a cut and stick formulae. The dark aspects of this book were there in abundance and there was lots of angst and tension that kept me completely hooked throughout! Do I want to live in a Mafia world and be taken care of by a serial un-aliver? Apparently!

My only reasons for not giving this book 5 stars is the insta-love element (which is very much down to personal preference) and the ending of the book, where certain events took place felt slightly out of the blue/rushed. I’m not sure that particular outcome matched the ending I wanted for these characters following Violets healing process but maybe that’s just because it felt out of the blue and unexpected. Regardless this is still an amazing read and I will pick up absolutely anything this author writes including her shopping list at this point!!

ARC Review:
Finding Violet is the 3rd book in the Shadows of Obsession series by I. A. Dice. It can be read as a standalone but the first two books (Breaking Hailey and Saving Hailey) are amazing. Some of the characters and some plot lines from the first two books tie into this book. This is a dark romance. The MMC, Broadway, is the right hand man to a mafia boss. There’s some descriptions of violence. The FMC, Violet, is a SA survivor working to recover from her trauma. But despite that, the book has a lighter feel than the first two books in this series.
Broadway is extremely protective and possessive of Violet, even before he meets her. He purchases her at an auction to save her. And after, he’s the only man she trusts and feels safe with. The only man she’s ever felt that way about. She’s just as attracted to him as he is to her but neither of them realize it at first. It’s a very slow burn with eventual spice. Broadway goes on a vengeance mission to m*urder all the men who hurt her. And… Violet’s into that.
There’s a plot twist towards the end of the book and it helps set up the next book in this series. I can’t wait for that one to come out! But Broadway and Violet’s story has a happy ending and the epilogue is very sweet. I would highly recommend reading this book (and every book by I. A. Dice, honestly. Her writing is incredible)!

I want to start off by saying thank you for allowing me to be an arc reader! Secondly, I want to saw that I really enjoyed this book! After first being introduced to Violet in Saving Hailey, I was already interested in her character and was excited to get to learn more about her in this book. Broadway was someone who intrigued me as well, with him being Carter’s right hand man I was eager to see him become a main focus. The book had a lot of character development within it which I really enjoyed. We got to see Violet grow into a confident and courageous person who didn’t let her past define her. We delved into who Broadway was and learned that there wasn’t just the stoic and brooding outside, seeing a more intimate side to him. Their chemistry was well balanced, with Broadway being the perfect mix of dominant yet knowing when to give up control and Violet learning to take what she wants. And finally, just like in the previous book which teased Violet, this book teased the next fmc who I’m very excited to read more about in the next book!!

🛑 Look at the author's trigger warning!!!

‼️ While this book could be read as a standalone, this is book 3 of the Shadows of Obsession series.

ℙ𝕆𝕍: first person, dual perspectives

𝕄𝕪 𝕋𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤:
After the ending of the last book (thank goodness it wasn't a cliffhanger🤣), I wanted to read Violet's book. Not completely knowing who the MMC was going to be was a bit of a toss-up. I speculated in my brain who it would be and was pleasantly surprised that it was Broadway.🫶

Broadway was everything I never expected. Yes, we've seen glimpses of him throughout the series, but reading in his POV was amazing. Based on Violet's past (check those triggers if you don't know), Broadway was so gentle and patient. We've seen it before in other romance books, but there was so something so undeniably sweet about how he treated Violet.🥰😍

We've got a lot to look forward to with the premise for the next book. Now, for guessing who the MMC will be about for this one...😏

This book! I have never fell in love sooo fast with a mmc. I have been thinking about violet & broadway since saving Hailey, and I cannot stress this enough how much I love this book. And here I thought that Carter was bad about his girl.. what a nice surprise this was!
I absolutely loved the story about violet and her thoughts and how she learned to live and cope with her trauma and how supportive Broadway was the entire book!
The journey they both went on and how they overcame there struggles.
@ia.dice, thank you for every time writing my favorite book I can now say 100% sure that you cannot write a book that I do not love! And how I now cannot wait for the next! Thank you for letting me be apart of your arc team again❤️
5 stars and I can for sure say that you will not be disappointed in this book! And I cannot wait for the other people to read about broadway and violet!

4.5 stars. ARC REVIEW
Finding Violet is the third book in the Shadows of Obsession series. I have been anticipating this book since I finished reading Saving Hailey where we first met Violet. Hailey and Violet meet in an extremely horrible situation. While Hailey gets removed from the house of terrors Violet is left to suffer until her rescue mission beings. Violet overcomes so much through out this book, she is so brave- I just want to give her a big hug.
I enjoyed seeing more behind the scene of Carters' work and how all the boys interact together, including him and Broadway. Their brotherhood is unmatched. Speaking of Broadway, ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I thought I loved Carter but somehow Broadway has taken his place. He is unruly and ruthless when it comes to Violets protection, but is willing to come out of his comfort zone and submit to Violet when it comes to her healing.

★★★★☆

A huge thank you to @ for letting me read book three in the Shadow of Obsession series 🙏🏼

As someone who’s been hooked on this series from the beginning, this book definitely delivered, I devoured it so fast. I loved Broadway so much, he’s such a perfect mmc. And to read Violets story was so heartbreaking, Dice did write her trauma so well.

I was fully expecting the book to end on a cliffhanger, which would have suited the pacing, but instead I felt like the ending was a little too fast paced. But great to get a feel about who the next book is going to be about.

Overall, Finding Violet is a worthy addition to the series, and while the ending didn’t quite hit the mark, the rest of the book was an absolute joy to read, I ate it up and can’t wait for the next one! Thank you 🖤

i love this seriesss. this book was a bit different from what i expected but it was so mucch fun to read, seeing broadways character develop and change. finished thid in two days. wish we knew more of violets backstory and broadways too lol why do i feel like violets sisters gonna be w Ryder… anyways i was not expecting broadway to be more unhinged than carter😭 but anyways i love that both of them are green flags and not like those abusive toxic mmcs. broadway was so patient and calm with violet even though his personality is not that at all. he took really good care of her and made her feel comfortable w everything again🥹 lol i love the way we were hinted about the fourth book throughout this one. Koby and Bianca. I CANT WAITTTT

Review to come⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you I.A. Dice for this arc!

I really enjoyed reading this. Broadway was just *chefs kiss*. The way he went hunting down those who hurt her, how he felt this pull from the first moment he saw her, how he went out of his way to make her more comfortable. YES PLEASE!! sign me up! Broadway is possessive and dominant bit always knew when Violet needed some space to heal and stand on her own 2 feet.

The growth and development Violet went through after being passed around was beautiful to see. I loved reading these 2 come together. And also loved reading how Carter did everything he could to help them both too. Their found family was number 1 always and you could tell that in the book.

If you like dark romance, possessive and morally grey MMC, then this might he right up your street!

Finding Violet Is such an amazing story. This Is Violet and Broadway’s story. I was ecstatic when I found that out since Broadway Is such an amazing man and I truly hope every woman finds their own Broadway. This story picks up at the end of Saving Hailey where Carter and his team are locating Violet to save her on Hailey’s request. As soon as Broadway sees her via video footage he starts to act out of the ordinary. He’s unsure why but the urge to get Violet quicker eats away at him. As always read your triggers prior to reading and enjoy!

Touch her and 💀??? Death is the least of your worries with Broadway. This mmc is deeply.. protective. He brings new meaning to the word unhinged, but only towards his enemies. To Violet, our FMC, he’s that extreme but about protecting her and comforting her.

This book is so heartbreaking. Lots of detailed abuse and most of the book is spent trying to bring our girl back from it. This was a much harder read than the first two books from the abuse point, but it’s handled with care and not glamorized at all. Extremely slow burn but but once it hits Broadway knows what he’s doing!

The ending felt a little bit rushed and focused more on the setup for the next book. When I saw “prologue” I was like wait… what?! It’s done!! 😂 check your triggers with this one and be prepared for a totally different ride than the first two books. Excited to see what happens next…

I have needed Broadway’s story since book 1, and it did not disappoint! Violet is strong and a fighter, it breaks my heart what she had to endure. Then broadway busts in and turns everything upside down with his insta love ‘touch her and die’ feels.
Plot twist at the end!! I didn’t see it coming but when I think about it I should have known better.

This series just keeps on giving me alllllllllll the spiciness I’m looking for!! Broadway is definitely a man I am obsessed with!!! The way he cares for Violet and treats her is seriously the most swoon worthy thing I’ve read in a while. Love him!!!
