Jane and Colin are soulmates. He just doesn’t know it yet.

For twenty-four-year-old Jane, finding love in New York City is even harder than making it as a playwright. So when Jane meets Colin, she can’t believe her they’re perfect for each other. Even when Colin breaks off their relationship after six dates, Jane knows this is just a stumbling block. She’ll get him back. She knows she will.

That is, until Colin starts dating Zoe—perfect, luminous Zoe. Even worse, she’s actually kind of nice. But Zoe doesn’t have what it takes to love Colin. All Jane has to do is prove it, and they’ll be so happy together.

But when Jane sneaks into Colin’s apartment, she makes a shocking discovery—one that will ensnare them all in a dark web of lies, secrets, and murder.

Unrelentingly twisty and utterly compelling, So Happy Together is an unputdownable, shattering read—a riveting blend of You, Riley Sager, and Promising Young Woman.

Some hearts get broken, some get even.

So Happy Together is a fictional mystery thriller book. I believe it had potential to be a great 5 star read, it just lacked in certain areas. I feel like the characters in the story were weird and the story was all over the place. It revolves around a girl named Jane, who starts becoming obsessed over a guy named Colin. Personally, I feel like Colin’s character lacked depth in the story. The location is set in New York City. Jane and Colin go on dates, then he breaks up with her. However, Jane will stop at nothing to get him back!

This book does come with twists and I did find this book to be engaging! Be sure to read the content warnings before reading this book. Overall, I give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I found it to be a reasonable read.

Thank you to NetGalley, author Olivia Worley and St. Martin's Press | Minotaur Books for this digital advanced reader’s copy in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

**3.5-stars rounded up**

So Happy Together is a twisty and dramatic Social Thriller that should be read as a warning about the potential hazards in modern dating. Singletons listen up!!

This story follows Jane, a 24-year old, aspiring NYC-playwright. Jane meets Colin, her perfect person, via a dating app. She can hardly believe her luck. He's too perfect.

Sadly, he breaks things off after only 6-dates. Jane doesn't see it as forever though, just a bump in the road of their longer term relationship. She'll do anything to make it so.

Then Colin starts dating Zoe, a up-and-coming New York artist, who also appears to be quite successful in various online space as an artistic influencer.

Zoe may have a lot, but Jane knows Zoe will never be able to love Colin like she can, but what's she willing to do about it?

I enjoyed this novel quite a bit. The audiobook was well narrated and kept me engaged during a very long solo road trip. Nevertheless, the story itself was a bit of a mixed bag for me, particularly in the second-half.

The beginning was super engaging and gripping, but the further it went, the more it started to lose my attention. It almost got too twisty, if that's possible?

With this being said, I did still enjoy quite a few of the twists thrown into this wild tale. Also, I appreciated the risks the author took with the story. It's not your typical Dramatic Thriller and actually went a lot darker than I expected.

I think for me, the most difficult area was towards the end. There were so many things popping up, and some were hard to track, so it felt muddled. I'm still not entirely sure I understand how exactly everything played out.

I think where the author really succeeded here was with the creation of the characters. I love an unreliable narrator, and Jane seemed like one, but she wasn't the only character in this story who you couldn't necessarily believe.

I liked how the author played with the abundant psychological manipulations of this cast of characters. It had me doubting everyone, and I sort of love that.

I also really enjoyed the New York setting, and just that whole feel of being a young person, transplated to NYC, trying to make a go of it. You're amongst millions of people, but it can be such a solitary endeavor.

Overall, I definitely vibe with Worley's ideas and character work, even if the execution wasn't perfect in this one. This is the 2nd-novel I have read from this author, and I'm definitely excited to read more.

You never really know what you're going to get.

Thank you so much to the publisher, Minotaur Books and Macmillan Audio, for providing me with copies to read and review. I do recommend the audiobook. Michelle H. Lee's narration was perfect for Jane's perspective.

Again, while this wasn't a flawless novel, I still found it to be a lot of fun and appreciated how dark and twisted the author went with it. Looking forward to more Worley!!

Reader beware....entering crazy town...but so compelling!

Have you ever been so obsessed with a guy after he breaks up with you, desperately wanting him to fall back in love with you?

This is what our protagonist, Jane, is dealing with. Jane, a playwright, meets Colin, a software engineer, and feels an instant connection. After six great dates, they sleep together. The next day, Colin goes MIA and soon dumps her. Yet, Jane can’t let him go. She’s convinced they belong together.

Jane devises a plan for a “fortuitous” meeting with Colin, arranging to be on a date with another guy when she sees him again. What she doesn’t expect is that Colin is also on a date with a new girl, Zoe, a confident, up-and-coming artist.

This doesn’t deter Jane. She believes she can make Colin fall in love with her again, even as she forms a budding friendship with Zoe. When Colin returns to Jane, Zoe will understand, right? Can Jane pull it off?

So many personality disorders in this novel! Jane is a compelling (and delusional) character I couldn’t stop watching. Her obsession with Colin made it painful to see her throw herself at him repeatedly. I wanted to yell at her to let him go—he wasn’t worth it. Some scenes made me squirm for her. Michelle H. Lee, the audiobook narrator, portrayed her brilliantly.

The few twists in So Happy Together were well-executed, if not always believable.

If you’re looking for a fictional, compelling, deranged character to follow, this novel hits the mark.

Cliffhanger: No

Please note that I received this book via NetGalley. This did not affect my rating or review.

This was the most confusing book ever. It's mostly following a 20+ year old woman named Jane who is delusional about her 6 date "relationship" with the most basic guy ever named Colin. And we get the longest reveal ever of what sent her running from somewhere years earlier. I think that Worley was going for some twists/reveals to keep you going. But I just found myself bored repeatedly while reading. Don't get me started about the other character we mostly focus on, Zoe.

"So Happy Together" follows Jane who is stalking (there is no other word for it) her ex Colin and his current girlfriend, Zoe. Jane knows that she and Colin have a connection and is upset he dumped her. Now she's focused on showing him what he's missing. When she runs into him and Zoe, Zoe takes a liking to her and now Jane is front and center to their relationship and how she can show Colin she is perfect for him.

No, this is not "You" and even within striking distance of that book. Jane is no Joe people. Jane is just a mess and exhausting. Toss in some murders and other things the book just becomes chaotic. And then we keep getting asides to Ophelia and I have never hated a literary character so much. I just felt like this book was trying to do too many things and it didn't work out in the end. Being in Jane's head as she keeps ignoring every red flag known to man got old real quick.

Colin...for being the center of Jane's world is not interesting at all.

The ending had me going okay then and moving onto something else.

This story immediately intrigued me. Jane initially comes off as an unhinged stalker. I wasn't sure if I was scared of her, or if I pitied her. My view of her changed as the plot unfolded. I was engaged and entertained by the various twists. Is Jane deranged, or is she just an innocent seeker of the truth? I was continually trying to decipher who was lying and who was telling the truth. The story was original and kept me interested until the surprising conclusion. Thank you, NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for my copy.

SO HAPPY I listened to SO HAPPY TOGETHER.

Three protagonists:
* Two females obsessed with the same guy.
* One narcissistic male who could be guilty of murder.

Who is the unreliable narrator?????

I always have a HAPPY face when reading books with multiple unreliable narrators.
😍🥰😍😀

WHY?

The author always keeps me guessing!

I listened to the audiobook, expertly narrated by Michelle H. Lee.

From start to finish, it was impossible to press pause/stop while listening to this twisty and riveting tale.

WHY NOT 5 STARS?
The last chapters were not as strong as the earlier chapters.

Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Olivia Worley's upcoming novel, SO HAPPY TOGETHER, is camp, it's messy, it's chaotic, and it's so much fun! This book is my first venture into Worley's writing, but it will not be my last. If you love the show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, the movie Promising Young Woman, or the books Love Letters to a Serial Killer or YOU, this book will definitely be your jam!

Jane is sure Colin is her soulmate—even if he doesn’t know it yet. When he dumps her and starts dating the seemingly perfect Zoe, Jane is convinced she just has to win him back. But everything changes when she sneaks into his apartment and uncovers a shocking secret that leads to obsession, betrayal, and murder. I'm not going to dive in further, because the best part of this story is how it unfolds.

This book has all the fun, anti-slow burn vibes that I expected it to be. It's pretty predictable, but there was a twist that did catch me off-guard! I read this book in one sitting, so it's definitely safe to say that this is a bingeworthy story! Don't take this book too seriously and you'll have a blast. I know I did!

Unhinged.. I absolutely love it.

Somebody described this book as if Love Quinn from “You” was a main character in a book and here i am, strapped in and raring to go 😂

I knew early on when we arrived at the birthday party and it was the most awkward thing ever that this book would be full of uncomfortable, arguably insane situations and just yesssss please, give me more of those 😂😂😂 I want to laugh and cringe, take notes for real life situations whilst simultaneously feeling better about my own life choices 😂

I loved this book a lot a lot, I can’t wait to see more from this author!

The book cover is so cute, the audio narrator did an amazing job of sucking me in and making me feel like I was watching this play out in real time.

Thank you for the advanced copy!

So Happy Together is a wild ride with three unreliable narrators, a whole bunch of crazy and great fun as long as you are into stalking and twists. As a 60 year old happily married mom, that s all my vibe. The crazier the better.

I’ve never read Olivia Worley, but this audiobook makes me want to read more of her work.

Narration was perfect.

Enjoyed this one, kept me curious and held my attention through the entire read. An easy lovable FMC that will infuriate you and make you want to protect her at the same time.. Jane was completely obsessed, creating her own narrative and delusions versus facing the true status of her & Colin’s relationship. When Colin’s new girlfriend Zoe enters the picture, the 3 of their lives intertwine in twisted, shocking & unthinkable ways! Overall a great read that makes me want more from this author. The narration was top tier in this audiobook. Thank you Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for this advanced listening copy. All opinions are my own.

As a struggling playwright in New York City, twenty-four-year-old Jane thinks all of her dreams come true when she meets the love of her life, Colin. Colin and Jane were made for each other and Jane knows they’re destined to be together- even if Colin doesn’t. It isn’t until Colin starts dating perfect, beautiful Zoe, that Jane realizes Colin may need a bit of a nudge to understand that Jane is the one for him. So, Jane infiltrates Zoe’s life, becoming her close friend, trying to get into Colin’s life in whatever way she can. But Jane underestimates Zoe and is forced to make a deadly choice when she realizes just who Zoe is, and what she’s after.

Olivia Worley’s novel, “So Happy Together” is a passionate, clever novel about obsession and unrequited love. Dark and dangerous, Worley creates a page-turning, suspense-filled story about the search for the illustrious “soulmate”.

After a few dates with Jane, she falls for Colin, hard, even though it is clear Colin doesn’t reciprocate when he shows up to a restaurant with Zoe on his arm. Readers are torn between feelings of sympathy and pity for Jane, and feelings of support, hoping that she gets what she so obviously wants. Colin is nothing special to write home about, but he’s not a complete loser, and, combined with Jane’s horrible childhood trauma, it’s easy to see why Jane falls for him so hard. Worley has given Jane the perfect backstory, without making her weak or naïve, making her the ideal candidate to fall prey to someone who shows her attention.

“Together” has bodies dropping left and right, and Worley doesn’t give any obvious clues, so we’re left guessing until the final pages, and even then, the story carries on, adding a final twist that left me gasping. Could Colin be the person Jane thinks he is or does he have a dark side? Who is Zoe, really? The speculation keeps on piling up and Worley chose the ideal way to wrap up the ending, providing a satiating conclusion.

Worley’s writing is gripping and tense, with strong plot and character development. I have read all of Worley’s previous novels, “The Debutantes” and “People to Follow” and found her writing refreshing and addictive, which is the case with her newest novel as well. I highly recommend checking out “So Happy Together”, or one of Worley’s other works, if you are looking for a read that is strong on suspense with a well-formed plot and powerful conclusion.

I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did! Jane is damaged and delusional, obsessed with her ex-boyfriend Colin, yet still possessing a vulnerability that had me rooting for her. Enter Zoe, Colin's new girlfriend, who forms an unlikely friendship with Jane, leading to a creepy, unsettling triangle. When Zoe and Jane suspect Colin of hiding dangerous secrets, they team up to discover the truth. But with three unreliable narrators and some unexpected twists, it's hard to determine who to believe. Filled with gaslighting, manipulation and deceit, this was a compelling read that had me guessing until the end.

This was a fun crazy obsessed girl stalks boy story! Jane is 24, living in NY. She dates Collin, about 6 times to be exact, and is convinced they are soul mates. Only Collin has moved on to dating picture perfect and very pretty Zoe. So what does one do in this situation? Well, you go on Hinge dating app, and start dating other guys, meeting them at the exact same place Collin took you. Because, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll see Collin there again, right?! Jane longs to see Collin and hopes he sees her dating other guys which will cause him to become instantly crazy jealous. Or not? You can see where this is going, right? Jane is batshit 🦇 crazy 🤪 I wanted to smack her more than once, like snap out of it girl! It’s got He’s just not that into you vibes. But she is blind and delusional in the best way.

Jane continues to “bump” into Collin, only next, she ends up meeting Zoe, who has no idea Collin and Jane dated. They befriend each other, and start to hang out, but Collin doesn’t seem to be onboard with this new friendship. Nothing weird going on here!🤦🏼‍♀️😆

Until Jane and Zoe find out a secret and then all hell breaks loose! I never knew who to believe throughout this story, it kept me guessing the entire time! The story is told from Jane’s pov, but is she reliable or no?

If you are a fan of Freida, Miranda Rijks, or Minka Kent, you will enjoy this book! This is a very good popcorn 🍿 domestic thriller that keeps you turning the page and guessing until the very end!

I give this 3.75 wine glasses 🍷 rounded up to 4.

I really enjoyed reading So Happy Together by Olivia Worley!

This is a novel about a girl living in Ney York City named Jane who gets dumped and ghosted by a guy named Colin she's obsessively in love with after only six dates. When she finds out he's already moved on and has new new beau, she is determined to befriend his new girl - the almost too good to be true Zoe. She insinuates herself in their lives under the guise of a supportive friend of Colin's from college, which he's all too happy to go along with, rather than admitting Jane is a former partner of his. As Jane and Zoe's bond deepens, Colin starts to pull away and act abnormally - prompting Jane to not only question her feelings for him, but also to suspect he may be hiding something far more sinister.

This book was definitely a blend of psychological thriller and dark humor. I loved how fast-paced and twist-heavy it was, and appreciated that it touched on the dangerous edges of obsessive love and dating app culture. At first, Jane's behavior felt erratic and unstable, but as her past came into focus, her actions made a tragic kind of sense. Her desperate craving for connection become more human and alarming, and I couldn't help but empathize. Zoe was a constant enigma - just when I thought I had her figured out, another twist would surface, leaving me questioning everything I thought I knew about her.

This novel definitely gave me some You by Caroline Kepnes vibes - just dialed way down. Honestly, I kept waiting for it to go all-in on the unhinged ex-girlfriend angle, but it never fully committed, which felt like a missed opportunity. This was my first experience reading a Worley novel, but I enjoyed this one enough to keep me intrigued with her, and will definitely check out her forthcoming work!

This book was such a fresh and contemporary take on the thriller genre. You’re following these characters, in their early 20s, dating in an internet/dating app age. This was also a great blend of twisty suspense and romance, with some dark moments sprinkled in. And that’s another reason this one is perfect for summer. It’s not as heavy and disturbing as some thrillers can be. It was a little bit more light, a little bit more entertaining. I definitely had a very fun time with it. But at the same time, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. You’ll be questioning who you should trust all the way up until the very end.

This book is perfect for anyone who likes a lighter, entertaining fun thriller. This book would also be perfect for any of my romance girlies out there who are looking to get into thrillers. I promise this will be right up your alley and I’m telling you you absolutely need to read this book this summer.

What I Liked:
1. Story flows
2. Unhinged woman
3. Stalker vibes

What I Didn't Like:
1. Basic characters with the same personalities as other books
2. Ridiculous scenarios

Overall Thoughts:
{{Disclaimer: I write my review as I read}}

Jesus who would even want Colin back? He broke up with her as soon as she slept with him. Like the next day he ignored her. He's trash and needs burned. There is zero way I would have sided with him in front of his new gf.

I hate that Jane is mad at Zoe. Zoe is blindsided by all of these things too and is only being lied to by Colin. She's a victim too.

God, I am so annoyed that Jane was so close to Colin and talking to him but she never once asks him why he ignored her after they had sex. The one question she keeps asking herself and wanting to know from him and she doesn't ask it.

Jane keeps mentioning how much Colin was into her and everything she was saying but she can't put it together that was love bombing her and acting interested just to

Jane not knowing that Colin has a pass code on his phone is crazy. Did she never in the two months they were together she never saw him enter one into his phone??

I keep wanting to give Jane the benefit of doubt but she's been hanging around Zoe and Colin for a little bit now so why is she still wanting Colin? I'd rather have my friendship with Zoe any day VS wanting to be in a relationship with Colin. There is nothing special about Colin. Zoe on the other hand is such a great friend.

The odd things about books like these where the other woman becomes friends with the unhinged ex is that they never seem to have other friends. How is Zoe such a fantastic person but she has no friends of her own. She lives only to be with Colin and doing whatever his friends want to do. So far Zoe has taken Jane as her friend because I'm assuming she has no other friends. It's just like how is that possible. Zoe is mid 20s with a great personality but she has not even one best friend...

Zoey even leaving the party and choosing Jane over Colin when she sees him push her. What a great person.

I rolled my eyes so hard when they set up a meeting with Lee but Colin showed up. He hacked
{{hacks be like I'm in gif}}
into Lee's account and met up with Joan in the middle of the night. Of course oddly enough Zoe is running behind and doesn't make it to this meeting so Joan calls her to tell her that Lee didn't show up and don't bother coming so she can run off and have sex with Colin. I don't understand this don't even said the sex was pretty basic. I don't get it basic man basic sex what is she chasing after?

Speaking of this Lee person canceling story Jane told Zoey how was Lee able to tell Jane in this lie that she wasn't going? They didn't exchange numbers and Zoey I'm sure of it didn't tag Jane in the dm or give her full name since that would be weird.
{{that's weird gif}}
Why wouldn't Zoey question this more?

Why does everyone keep going to Jane when she is the "friend" of Colin's? Wouldn't they talk to someone else that isn't a friend of him when they have a problem with him? It doesn't make any sense. Ben has other friends why would he want to talk to Jane about something he found.

Okay so let's just say that Zoey is the one all behind these things. Ben is now dead and she sent the text to Jane to come over. Now she seems to wanting to pin it on Colin so hard.

Ben was just murdered and they are already doing a funeral. Aren't they doing a autopsy? Ben died under suspicious circumstances. Place a funeral the next day after he dies is crazy. Plus Colin is a suspect in a murder. They aren't going to let him leave town let alone the state.

There has so little background to who Jane is when suddenly we get 75% done with the book and we get that her father was abusive and made that she did not kill a deer. I wish we could gotten more backgrounds on the characters. Everything felt surface level.

Ohhhh we find out that Zoey was actually friends with Lee from her hometown and Lee met Colin at college. Colin emotionally beat her down and made her withdrawn. For some reason I guess Zoey decided to get back at him... By giving him a good relationship hahaha.

The whole ending is pretty ridiculous. The fact that Zoe could manage to move a man and he was drugged up so he was like dead weight but because he's on the thinner side it was easier for her to do when she's probably like 120 lbs it's just crazy to me. Oh and then she's able to do it without anybody even seeing her when this is her Art Exhibit. Then add in to the ending that they murder Colin and no one comes looking after him they just managed to make a whole confession letter saying he killed Lee and Ben. Then then somehow they get away with his murder which it's never really fully explainedHow they managed to hide his body and get away with it. Just no explanation. We just jumped three months into the future and everything's hunky-dory peachy keen. Don't skip over the ending. Don't just like pretend like we don't need to know what went down and how you did it because that's a rip off to readers
{{Ya Ya Seinfeld gif}}

Look at that Zoe lied and was really a killer. I've never seen that in a thriller before... Don't worry though because Jane is okay with the fact that Zoe killed Ben but not when she thought Colin killed Lee - even though he didn't. Double standards much? I guess it's okay because Jane killed her father and got away with it too. No one gets caught for murder in this book.

Final Thoughts:
This was your basic thriller that doesn't give anything more than any other thriller na hasn't given you before.I enjoyed the stalker vibes and the tone of the book. Despite Zoe being a killer I still liked her and that she stuck up for Jane - yes, she had an end game I know. Jane was a terrible person.

Book was just okay. Honestly I will probably forget this one in a few years.

So Happy Together is the kind of novel that makes you ponder the difference between love and obsession. Such a fun and delusional read. Being in our main character's head is a bit nerve-racking but I still enjoyed this book so much.

So Happy Together (audio) 3.5⭐️

Jane starts out as your typical unhinged obsessed ex. She only dated Colin for a couple months, but she just knows they are meant to be together, despite him breaking up with her. Jane spirals as she sets up “accidental” run ins to remain relevant in Colin’s orbit. In a strange turn of events, Jane starts becoming BFFs with Colin’s new girlfriend. The closer she gets to Colin’s inner circle, the more secrets she learns. Dangerous secrets.

This was a good quick listen. The narration was great. I had several theories throughout and ended up being right about some of them. Overall, it was a bit over the top, but definitely entertaining.

never known a more delusional main character.

here’s a summary: girl meets boy. boy and girl go on six dates. boy breaks up with girl as he doesn’t want anything serious, right after they sleep together (boy clearly is a douchebag). time passes. girl keeps going on dates at place near boy’s house hoping to run into him. it eventually happens. girl finds out boy is in a relationship. girl befriends his new girlfriend. girl is convinced that he’ll leave his new girlfriend for her (like i said, delusional). boys new girlfriend invites girl to his birthday party. girl sleeps with boys roommate to make him jealous (he literally didn’t care). girl steals roommates keys, makes a copy, then brings them back. while bringing them back, girl goes through boys BEDROOM. girl finds bloody knife in boys dresser drawer?

this book was actually pissing me off by the end, because what the heck did i just read?!

I listened to the audiobook for this one and while I liked the mystery story quite a bit, but the book itself was a little hard to read at times. The narrator did a good job bringing the character to life, but that character was hard to like and even listen to. Jane is in love and the fact that her boyfriend broke up with her before they could even become official is a minor detail. She creates plans to show him what he is missing and accidentally bumps into his new girlfriend Zoey. Zoey befriends Jane which works for her motivation to convince Colin they are meant to be soulmates. Jane stubbornly turns every red flag into a promise for something good to come which was hard for me. I don’t like watching someone get gaslit and this character almost did it to herself. I will admit the twist at the end was excellent and helped make up for a lot of my earlier frustration. Overall this book wasn’t bad and I’d try this author again.

This book had SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Did I absolutely devour it? Yes, I did. It definitely kept me entertained and turning the pages. HOWEVER, I felt like the cops in this story did absolutely NO investigating, and the ending felt kind of rushed and didn’t make much sense (TO ME) would I recommend this book? If you are looking for something fast paced then absolutely! And maybe it will all come together better for you, it just didn’t hit that sweet spot for me. Unfortunately.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for the arc in exchange for my honest review. PUB DATE: 6/3

Jane needs help; she is totally obsessed with Colin after only six dates, and knows that He Is The One. Unfortunately, he doesn't agree... after that sixth date when they take their relationship to the next level, he breaks up with her.

But Jane is nothing if not determined. Because she knows they're made for each other, she keeps going on new dates in the hope that he'll see her and how 'well' she's doing. This will - of course - make him realise their Soul Mate status. Eventually, they do meet again - funny how small a world New York is - and Jane unexpectedly makes friends with his new girlfriend, Zoe. Zoe is an affluent influencer, with a suspiciously scanty internet trail before she arrives in New York. She seems to have it all together; she seems pretty confident in herself and her relationship with Colin. But, even so, she latches onto Jane, and invites her into her life - which means seeing more of Colin. All going according to plan... Jane just needs to get Colin to see that Zoe is all wrong for him, and switch back to her. Should be easy, right?

After about halfway through, things take a rather twisted turn - as I think any discerning reader would expect ;)

This book wasn't for me, for two key reasons:

1) I literally didn't care about ANY of the characters because I didn't believe in them. I've read other reviewers who thought Jane's stalker-ish tendencies were very realistic, but I just didn't buy her... or any of the other characters. Even when we learn about their real motives later, none of them rang true for me.

2) It was so MESSY. Multiple times in the twisted second half, there were parts that literally MADE NO SENSE. Not just in terms of characterisation, but in terms of How Things Work In The World. I couldn't keep up any kind of suspension of disbelief, and the whole book just irritated me start to finish!

I feel mean giving it one star because it isn't as terrible as the last book I gave one star to... but this is a generous two stars. Not for me, I'm afraid!

Massive thanks to NetGalley and Quercus books for the e-arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own - don't disregard a book because of one negative review! This might be the perfect book for you; by all means, give it a try :) It's a quick read at least - I got it down in a couple of sittings.

I thought this book was demented, the FMC was delusional, and I ate it up! Jane is obsessed with her ex, Colin, who broke her heart after 6 dates. She needs him to see that she’s his soulmate, but he’s now with Zoe. Now, she has one agenda- keep Colin close, but keep his girlfriend closer and win him back.
This was a twisty, crazy ride and I just had to know how it would end!

I couldn’t wait to figure out who was responsible in this thriller…until I didn’t figure it out. This was engaging, but confusing. I feel like I just spun in circles and now I’ve stopped. But that is all that happened…I just whirled…. Fun for a bit, I guess.

Think Crazy Ex-Girlfriend but with some Freida McFadden twists thrown in. Meet Jane, she definitely has some issues. She went on 6 amazing dates with Colin but then he broke up with her. She just knows he’s the one and wants to win him back. After running into him and his new girlfriend Zoe a few times Zoe and Jane become friends and they start to find out some alarming things about Colin. Poor Jane, girls got it bad and she’s a mess. You will have second hand embarrassment for Jane. You will hate some of the decisions she makes but go along for the ride it’s a crazy one. I had a lot of fun with this book! Thank you NetGalley and Minotaur for the ARC!
