I Hear Motion: A Celebration of the Australian Bands who Sound-Tracked Our Lives

Rate this book
I Hear Motion is a celebration of the Aussie bands we loved: Models, Machinations, Wa Wa Nee, Real Life, Kids in the Kitchen, Do-Re-Mi, Koo De Tah, Eurogliders, Boom Crash Opera and more – and what happened to them following the end of the decade. With interviews, never-before seen photos and archives of the time, plus never-before told stories about the songs, bands, excesses and break-ups, I Hear Motion is a must-have for every Australian music fan.

If you watched Countdown every Sunday, taped songs from the radio top 40 and passed around Smash Hits magazine at school, you’ll enjoy this informative trip down memory lane!

An agreeable walk down memory lane, especially if you want the songs of Australia's eighties stuck in your head for the rest of week. Gazzo has a great ear for the amusing side story, bringing these musicians to life in a way that a million Countdown hosting slots couldn't.

A quick easy read with some interesting information about how many of these groups became established in the music industry. Such great music came from many bands in the 1980's.
