West Greene is a romance author that specializes in short, steamy books and erotic shorts.
All your instalove needs can be found in one of her books, whether you're looking for possessive men, men with no morals, spicy FF romance, a boy just needing his Daddy, a twink just needing love, or even the other woman to get her HEA.
West Greene refuses to be stuck in one trope or type of romance. She loves variety, and she's definitely going to share that variety with her readers.
I've been waiting on this release for weeks! This is set 23 years after Winston and Kaseys' book. Those silly gooses adopted 5 boys that grew up to be just like daddy Winston 🥵 I'm so here for it. If you're looking for a plot...there's none here.
Winston and Kacey are great, but the kids? Getting there. Not quite there yet. Definitely not.
🟢 First read Let Me Be Your Monster 🔵 MMC is one of 5 kids of Winston and Kacey 🟣 Time : 23 years after their book 🟡 Psychopath/park guard 🔵 Stalking, watching (cameras), possessive 🟠 Timespan : 1 day 🌶️ Smut descriptive, a lot of it; rimming, oral, penetrative; t/b
This love story happens in one day.
Onyx, the oldest of 4 psycho quadruplets, makes himself known to Korain, the guy who's some sort of guide in a state park and lives there in a cabin, after months of stalking him.
Onyx is worried about Korain since there's a serial killer running around and he's very close to Korain, so in one day this guy's life turns around completely.
First, Korain meets the psychopath future boyfriend who's obsessed with him, then he's a witness to 2 murders and when he's all freaked out, out of his mind and doesn't know what hit him, he has sex with Onyx and admits to his family the next day that he quite possibly loves him.
I mean, the idea was there, I like Kasey and Winston and them having 5 kids who get their crazy stories works for me, but Onyx and Korain should've gotten a bit more interaction than just one day of knowing each other.
In the epilogue they're married already and the bonus chapter they're having loud sex in their family home. That's it.
It's not that interesting. Definitely not close to what Kacey and Winston had. Actually, if it weren't for them, this story wouldn't work, at all.
'He might want to hate me, but instinctively, he knew I wasn’t the enemy. His soul knew I was here to protect him and keep him safe.'
I loved this book. I love dark mm romance, and the idea of this book was a must-read. Korain, an innocent park ranger, is being stalked by Onyx, an obsessed psychopath who will protect him no matter what, and a serial killer who Onyx is tasked with eliminating and has happened to choose Karain as his next victim. I was fascinated by Onyx's family dynamic and would love to know so much more of them. This was a fast-paced thrilling read. I wish it were longer and expanded some more. Korain recognized Onyx's too-calm emotions (unless Korain was in danger, of course) and hearing him [literally] declare himself a psychopath was taken fairly well as Onyx grounded him from being overwhelmed as bodies began piling up around him quickly. Korain knew Onyx for a day by 50% into the book and I just wanted their relationship expanded more.
I definitely need to go back and read book one. I can't wait to read more. 5 stars.
Onyx and Korain are perfect for one another I’ve got to say I am thoroughly enjoying this series. This is the second book of boys without remorse. The second that onyx had saw korain. He knew he was the one for him, so when he saw that he had a stalker, his killer instinct kicked in to keep his man safe. Korain Wasn’t sure when he woke up to find a man watching him sleep, but it wasn’t long before he found out that this man would do anything for him. Even keep you safe from the killer. Their passion is off the charts, and it doesn’t Heart take long for them to have a deep connection. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series a great quick read.

I loved book one of this series Let me be your monster and this was another great read and I loved the fact that this was the story of one of Winston and Kasey’s children and that we got a chance to see them later in life and get to know their family. This is Onyx and Korian’s story and it is another dark read so please check trigger warnings, I’m really looking forward to reading more from this series.
I loved Korain and Onyx! Onyx is obsessed with Korain and it's a good thing as someone has target his boy. Onyx will do anything and everything to protect his boy. Korain is a little scared at first with Onyx but it doesn't take long at all for Korain to relax and trust his gust and heart. LMTYM were awesome and so was this one! I hope we get more from this awesomely dark family!.

I loved Savage Monster by West Greene. It's the second book in the Boys Without Remorse series. I love Onyx and Korain's story. I love the plot and how Onyx is a psychopath who lives with his two dads and his four other brothers, who are all psychopaths. I love that Onyx is obsessed with and possessive of Korain. It was a great short novella.

A Monster to Protect Against a Monster Onyx is a psychopath obsessed with Korain, who doesn’t even know he exists. But when there’s a serial killer in Korain’s park, Onyx is there to protect him. This one is dark (though not as dark as the original) but it’s a bit redeeming as well. I’ve very interested to see how the rest of this series is going to pan out. A quick entertaining read.
This very short novella had everything I need right now in one book. Murder, intrigue, stalker(s), love, spice, plot and possessive obsession. The bones of the book remind me a lot of another book series that I love so I automatically had a good experience reading it.
I really enjoyed this one. I love how quick and dirty it was. Super fast paced but gave you everything you need. I hope for more to come about the boys in this family.
I enjoyed this short novella about Onyx and Korain. I loved getting a glimpse into Winston and Kasey’s family of psychopaths and normal feeling members. Onyx, one of quadruplets, is the son of Kasey and Winston, and a psychopathic vigilante, who is following in his pops shoes of latching onto a guy. Korain, a park ranger, doesn’t realize he’s being stalked by a psychopath, but when he finally meets his stalker, his life is forever changed and he doesn’t mind the change at all. The vigilante brothers are trying to find a serial killer, while Onyx protects what’s his. This story is short and bloody and so much fun. I loved the first book and was thrilled to see a second! I hope we see more from this family. Well written, one downside was it was short, and it left me wanting more! Like always with this author, he leaves me craving his writing.
I loved book one, Let Me Be Your Monster, but I think this topped that one. If you read LMBYM then you know who Winston and Kasey are, this is about their kids. Onyx is just like Pops (Winston) so once he set his eyes on Korain he was hooked. Korain is in danger and Onyx will stop at nothing to protect him. I really wish this was longer because I would love more of all of these guys. 🖤🔥🩸🔥🖤
My favorite quotes:
• Onyx: I might never be able to love him, but Korain was mine. I would protect him with my life. Do my best to make and keep him happy.
• Korain: I loved both versions of Onyx the same. Needed them both just as much.
Possessive, violent, and utterly unhinged in the best way, this dark MM romance leans hard into obsession and the dangerous line between protector and predator.
From the opening pages, the story establishes a chilling premise: the man at the center of the narrative has two stalkers—and only one of them intends to keep him alive. The narrator’s voice is immediately compelling, blending tenderness with an unsettling sense of entitlement. His obsession with Korain Choi isn’t framed as romantic fantasy; it’s raw, intrusive, and deeply personal, making every interaction crackle with tension.
The plot escalates quickly when a serial killer enters the picture, forcing the protagonist into the role of both hunter and guardian. The contrast between his ruthless upbringing and the soft way he views Korain creates a disturbing emotional duality. He doesn’t just want to protect Korain—he wants to own that role, even if it means crossing every moral boundary imaginable.
Korain’s vulnerability adds weight to the obsession, making the stakes feel intimate and dangerous. The act of breaking into his home isn’t portrayed as a grand romantic gesture, but as a turning point where fear, safety, and desire collide. The result is a relationship built on secrecy, coercion, and twisted devotion that will either consume them both or keep them alive.
Dark, intense, and unapologetically disturbing, this book is not about healthy love—it’s about survival, fixation, and choosing the lesser monster in the dark. Readers who enjoy morally gray characters, stalker dynamics, and MM romance that pushes boundaries will find this story gripping and impossible to put down. Just be sure to heed the author’s note—this is a journey that doesn’t pull its punches.
