3.75 stars. Solid second book in series. Slade and Nelle seemed like a good fit for purposes of an MC romance. It was the typical dynamic- girl needs protection, must put up with overbearing MC protector who sees her as little more than a beautiful toy, then falls in love with her and they proceed to have LOTS of sex.
The tension is thick throughout the book. The rat is finally revealed. Threats coming from all angles. It’s just hard to see how these people live with so much daily stress, even within their own brotherhood. There’s always punches being thrown, threats being made and that’s just amongst the MC brothers themselves. Add in the gangs, mafia, crooked police and you get the picture. Not a moments peace for these guys or their ladies. No family bbqs, no kids in the mix, women are seen as disposable objects until they get inked. It’s all very outlaw but there needs to be some balance to the chaos for me to believe anyone would choose to live this way.
Also, third person, skipping from person to person, even mid-paragraph is confusing.
All that being said, still an enjoyable read.

When Nelle's sister is killed in what seems to be an act of random violence, it's all she can do to move on. When it happens again to her other sister, it no longer feels random and she knows she's next.
Slade rides with SOFRAW MC. He enjoys the life, the women and all that comes with being an outlaw. He's also loyal to his Pres and VP. At the moment, the club has a nasty 'rat' problem and a not so random murder results in more trouble for them. Somehow it's all connected and SOFRAW needs to figure it out asap.
For Nelle, being on her own was dangerous, but nothing close to being 'not claimed' in a clubhouse full of outlaw bikers. As sparks fly, Slade and Nelle become involved. Maybe it's the fear of possibly being the next to die, knowing they have a 'rat' in their midst, or just maybe it's the fear that they've caught feelings for each other and what that means within the MC life.
A fast paced, wild ride! Raw, raunchy and hot!!! Well developed characters and great storytelling make this an absolute must read!

Slade and Nelle
Once you start reading, you won't want to stop. Nelle has lots of secrets. Outlaw Slade does too. Their storylines intersect and the entire Club is involved. There is lots of heat and unknowns, especially as new characters are developed. On top of everything is the knowledge that someone is a rat. Who is it? Great read!

BJ Sinz does it again. Another great book. Why always a cliff hanger? Wasn’t it enough that Slade an Nelle got their HEA? I guess it’s a look into the next book. Which I can’t not wait to get my hands on! BJ Sinz you’ve got yourself a #1 fan!

Good book!
So much outlaw defiance within this book. A great story about the beautiful sisters and their background. Slade comes to Nelle’s rescue and inks her to make her safe. The book has intrigue and biker romance.

This was a great, fast paced read, full of everything you could want from an MC romance, with all of the action, danger and secrets. The heat and chemistry is off the charts with this couple. I can’t wait for the next book in this amazing series.
